Exactly. I stopped reading this guys post over on that sub when he complained the caregiver was paid too much. He is such a hateful POS. I cannot believe he reproduced. I feel so sorry for his wife and kids. Wow.

Ummmm what abt the new boyfriend throwing a fit?! I don’t think her new boyfriend should have any say in how she spends her money. If you agree or not, it’s her damn $18K.

I should add, my ex treated me like GARBAGE. And instead of realizing I was in a dead end relationship and being treated like garbage, I focused on the “signs” and what they meant and allowed him to talk me out of believing the facts in front of my face. The feelings were there before the facts. And of course he was acting shady because he was cheating on me. I didn't want to believe that and wasted a lot of time on a man I would literally laugh at now if he asked me for a date lol I had a glow …

Yes the missing time is HUGE. Especially when he gets angry if you ask him about it, or to explain it.

I hear you. Your signs are good, so people should be aware. I commented because I don’t want anyone driving herself crazy getting caught up looking for signs and wondering what they mean. Like if your gut, your brain, or your friends/family are saying something isn't right, it almost always is not right. Fuck a dude and whatever bullshit he is doing on his phone. If he is acting shitty I already know from how I am feeling about him and the relationship. And actually, it is pretty easy to know so…

Its important to know these, but I think that instead of remembering a list of signs, it is more vital to just know your own boundaries and leave at any sign of disrespect. If something seems shady or feels “off” just leave. Don’t wait for his excuses etc. just have an iron clad sense of self. Do not let a man drag you down.

I went to a singles event years ago, it was terrible. More women than men and I realized the men had basically been dragged there as a favor of the organizer. One guy was practically rolling his eyes at the women trying to chat. Another was a guy trying to sell insurance. It was a pathetic waste of time and money. And an embarrassment! Pass on it.

Ugh. She mentions the loss of respect for her husband. I understand. If almost every single woman’s reaction is the same, its not about this particular woman’s trauma. I had an automatic dislike of porn and the men and boys who looked at it when I first discovered it as a child. I didn’t have a feminist or some news advice columnist telling me how I should feel about it. I could sense what it was, a woman being objectified and used. To add insult to injury, this couple is in their 60s, it won’t …

Yes! For some reason cheating is seen as the ultimate betrayal. But he is proving his disrespect and lack of care regularly. A third party doesn't need to confirm that… I would divorce his ass, 20 year old might not be so excited about a grown man who is a shitty dad and owes child support and alimony and flirts with all his students.

What does he think is so great about “casual relationships”? Wow, so he can disappoint multiple women with his soft dick? Maybe catch an STI? Need to pay for an abortion? This guy’s casual dating fantasy is truly pathetic.

Same here. When I kept reading “boyfriend” I was confused, then thought “oh, she means the older dad who is more than twice her age and hates his own daughter” that guy. 🤮

Exactly! Any woman would be taking the kid aside to explain how gross this is and bring them home to their mother. Then they’d confront their friend like WTF are you thinking? Do you need some therapy?

I think it is also a lack of self awareness. Like they don’t even consider fashion, hygiene and health/fitness, and how they fit into thise things.

Im so glad you posted this. The title makes me so uncomfortable. Why make the title sound like a porno? Apparently it is more wholesome than the title suggests. But even then it seems like sex in the city but with teenaged women. It is a garbage title Mindy Kaling should not have allowed. If it is a program about young women for women, why make it sound like exploitative rapey ageist, misogynist, voyeuristic garbage?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
