Just recently there was a post here about woman-to-woman dynamics from a RPW perspective, how to make female friends. I really wanted to watch that video actually but it seems the post is gone (I can't find it anyways) anyone remember what it was called? Might be helpful

I think you'd be a fool to leave this marriage. He's a stable man bringing in passive income as well as his business, which you're dissatisfied with because it's attached to your image, but you also don't want to quit. You're putting him into a situation where he can't win. He does 50-50 work and housework, you're unhappy because you want him to provide. But you're also ambitious yourself and are unwilling to quit your job and be a stay at home mom because you feel you'd be bored. So his only op…

I don't think the price is what matters. What matters is only 2 things: you liking it it being durable Generally, more expensive rings have better materials (gold, diamonds) that withstand the test of time. Silver may tarnish quickly, which is why people usually go for white gold. A crystal will scratch or even break, whereas a diamond won't (or moissanite which is durable but much cheaper than diamond). That's the main discerning factor for the price imo. Unless - you don't want to wear the rin…

I say this as I'm baby wearing the newborn and husband just left to run some errands and took the toddler with him so I can do some meal prepping and laundry while they're gone. Joint effort!

I'm American and we don't do screentime or much sugar for the kids either, I get where you're coming from not wanting the baby to be watching COD for 2h. Can you leave while baby naps? That's how I ran a lot of errands at that age. Even if baby needs to be held, maybe your husband could baby wear him while he's awake or napping so that baby is comforted but husband still has his hands to do whatever

By their reply... yeah most likely lol Better approach would be if his gym had childcare and he took baby with him so mom can have 2-3h alone at home while he uses the free babysitting at the gym

That's a very valid concern, but it's a bridge you don't have to cross right now. He is still very little and very dependent on you, and at this age it is still early to tell how your husband will actually be as a father since so many men have a harder time bonding with a baby but they become closer with the child once they are a toddler and walking and talking and playing. I would give it a year and see how things go. Have lots of conversations in time to improve by then, and maybe even bring u…

Good luck ❤️ it sounds like you're doing a phenomenal job keeping up with all this, but do make sure he understands just how tired you are, you can't keep going like this forever. I hope you're able to find a good solution and he listens!

I'm so sorry that's what's going on. Have you tried having a formal, sit down conversation with him? I know you've asked him and he changes for a day and then goes back to old habits, but I mean really sitting down and having a "we need to talk" moment? Might be worth it to calmly lay down your needs from him and explain why these things are important to you, explain you need his help - not that it would be nice, that you NEED it because you're drowning. The advice in the book The Queen's Code h…

So I didn't wean until I got pregnant again at 20mo. But I just weaned for nighttime at 6mo since they're able to go the night without food - that stops a lot of the waking since they're able to get all their calories during the day, they just shift the nursing basically but they're still getting the same amount of milk and gaining weight the same. No advice on the rolling unfortunately :/

also, side note, have you considered sleep training? Six wake up at 8 months sounds really rough. Even if it's a gentle approach like just night weaning and fixing his wake windows? That worked wonders for my first baby when he was around 6 months

I'm married with a 2.5yo and a newborn both exclusively breastfed and I handle all of the childcare, cleaning, cooking etc. However... my husband always steps in as needed if he's available (if I'm overwhelmed and have 3 things I'm trying to do at the same time), he now takes our toddler out on Saturday mornings so I can sleep in with the newborn, he watches the toddler so I can do xyz. So we don't have anything that's "his job" but he's ready to back me up as needed. He works a lot though, over…

I think you may have misunderstood my comment. I was looking to see if there are communities of women who are married to men who subscribe to RP, but the woman herself doesn't necessarily. The average woman resents RP content (assuming she's ever heard of it) - due to feminism, lack of understanding, denial/delusion, or whatever other reason. So that's why I presume if there was such a community, it would most likely be women complaining about the content their husbands consume as opposed to app…

Thank you so much. What a beautifully written and thought out answer. It saddens me it seems a lot of women here are jumping at my husband's throat and assuming he's a poor provider and poor leader just because I have my issues - the lack of accountability and blaming men for women's faults is kind of telling they still have a ways to go, from my perspective. My husband is an excellent leader and provider, he works 2 jobs and is in grad school so he works extremely hard, but we started off in a …

Very true! I've proven myself to be wrong many times after I cooled down and had an "oh... I guess it wasn't a big deal" moment

Update, what I've gathered so far after talking with husband, doing some research, and answers here: - being submissive doesn't mean I have to just say "you're right" when I don't mean it - that's lying, and breeds resentment. The right approach is to express my feelings while choosing to let it go eg. "I don't understand where you're coming from, but I don't want to turn this into something bigger so I'm choosing to let it go" instead of trying to get him to see my point - when something offend…

Seems to be the case. "I'm just a girl, I'll make mistakes sometimes" while also wanting to call all the shots.

I think they understand men and women are different (men are strong, women are nurturing etc) but they don't quite understand men think entirely differently and prioritize different things - eg a man prioritizing efficiency in getting tasks done as quick as possibly vs a woman prioritizing perfection. They don't understand the ways our brains are wired differently, so in a way yes they do see men as defective women. I wish they'd all read The Queen's Code. I think as far as Paul's teachings and …

Thank you for your advice! We are new and I haven't met all that many grannies haha but I'm sure I will as time goes along. We are traditionalist Catholics, so it's very much within the culture for the women to be SAHMs and the husbands to be sole providers, and for all to have large families and welcome children willingly - which further encourages women to be SAHMs since it's hard to be a working mother the more kids you have. Most kids are homeschooled too, so there's also that imperative, bu…

Thank you! I think the respect aspect of it does make sense to me, and he told me pretty much the exact same thing you said (after I'd posted this, we had a follow up conversation when we both had cooler heads that I think cleared things a bit more for me). As far as attraction goes, I am very attracted to him. He's lost almost all the weight he gained and he's gotten pretty muscular from working out too. I'd say I have a higher drive than him really, but when you are married with kids sometimes…

Thank you! Perhaps I should make it a point to meditate on 1 Cor 14 and Eph 5 more often, read through it at least once a week. He's befriended some Christian redpill guys that I think are good influences on him for sure. Our church is as conservative as it gets but even then all the women I've befriended are feminists despite being SAHMs with many children and fulfilling the typical roles a woman should, so it leaves me with no one to go for advice that's actually helpful (not just "just don't …

Thank you!! I'll take a look at these pages. I think the way I wording is definitely is a big issue, because it's not just about me fighting him over things I disagree with but also about snapping at minor annoyances from his part, so I need to work on my attitude. Just not super sure how to go about it, seems everything only yields short term results, I wish there was something I could just click in my brain. I think it's almost like I'm too comfortable? I wouldn't do that to a friend, right, s…

Well I don't want to just give up :/ that was the agreement yes, and he's doing well as a leader, but I can't get my head out of my behind about not putting up a fight every time I have to accept his authority

We're religious so there's the aspect of God ordered it to be this way - men lead, women follow - but I guess that's what I'm having trouble with understanding, what's so special about men that they should lead. I can see it easily in a big picture sense like politics etc but harder on a small scale like the home. From my understanding I thought redpill community was pro this concept though? Of women submitting and men leading. But as I said I'm new so I could be wrong.
