The increased suicide rate in Amsterdam seems to primarily affect teenagers and women, and has finally started to decline this year. 4	Finally some common sense People want to help victims, but do not know how. The times I have had the worst mental health are the times I have been enabled and pitied by others who did not have any expectations of me because they were too busy feeling sorry for me. We have to find a way to create room for recovery while still encouraging people to take care of themselves. To be fair, prisons often have very strict rules about what can be sent to prisoners, and items like that would most likely be thrown out because they have to be sanitary and couldn’t be opened to be inspected by a prison guard.
