After complaints, Amazon has changed that Medusa ad. Before she turned the man to stone, in the original version one of the women said "as if." In the new one she says "Perseus," thereby having Medusa kill the character from the Greek mythology instead of a random guy who winked at them.

It might be a fake text but the sentiment is real. I'm 6'4". I've received absolutely zero advantages from this. You know what happens when you're tall? You're constantly running across women who see you as someone they can mouth off to because they can get away with it. It just makes you a target. The only other thing you get is women constantly asking you to get things off store shelves for you, like you're their personal employee.

Then they would murder each other. The drama feedback loop would be too intense for anything but short-term survival.

Well men, we're failing. Damn the torpedoes! Lash yourselves to the wheel, lads, we're going down with the ship! Farewell and adieu, you fair Spanish ladies....I'll never put on on a life jacket again. Or nerd glasses and a soft sweater like Mr. Boostraps Galloway.

Yet I'm sure everyone involved listens to rap. Edit: I meant, I bet all these people worrying about that kid saying "female" run home and listen to rap and never think a thing about what rappers call women. The hand-wringers are fueled by their own hypocrisy.

I remember when my mother started getting child support when I was a kid. When it started coming in the mail my mom explained to me what it was. Then I asked her to give it to me. "Oh no, you can't have it, it's for me." I was so confused, especially since she made the decision to divorce my dad and stay in our little shithole town. My dad was in the military. I could have traveled and had some real opportunities, but no.

Yeah and why is it that nearly every white man on TV or in commercials talks with these little high, trembly voices? What, I'm the last one with a baritone, non-lisping speaking voice?

Every time I let a woman cajole me into expressing my feelings, whatever I said was thrown in my face and used against me, and brought up as criticism, every time an argument occured forever afterwards or whenever she was displeased in some way. And was sometimes told to other female friends to demean me. One said "why do you act like a stereotype, like some macho cowboy asshole or World War II veteran? It's tooooxic!" Could be because I spent lots of time with my grandparents and great aunt and…

She needs more tattoos, and some facial piercings. And definitely that bleached hair should be pink or green. Otherwise someone might think she's a fake blond because she's trying to live up to a beauty standard put in place by the patriarchy. That will leave her open to being cancelled if she's not careful.

That sub got really bad before it was shut down. I had to stop posting there some time before that. The incels had flooded the place when their subs were shut down and you couldn't post anything about relationship experiences without being attacked and insulted for having ever been in a relationship with a woman. There was also a lot of openly racist and antisemitic sentiments. I don't know if it would have lasted longer had the mods had done their jobs, but that certainly hastened its demise.

I always disliked all the bullshit of dating. Marriage was just too much of a hassle with relatively little return. I'm an only child; I like being alone. Now I'm 53. I've been married twice and I've reproduced 3 times (with my first wife). My sons are now adults. In the past 3 years my libido and my tolerance for bullshit have both divebombed. I'm fine with that. All I want for the rest of my life is peace and quiet, and no noise, drama, or bullshit. My libido made me waste so much time, energy…

Let's not forget that many, if not most men in the fashion industry, including the makeup artists and hairdressers, are gay men. Straight men have little to do with creating a "beauty standard." No one mentions this. How ironic: women let men who are not attracted to women tell them how they should look!

Eh, I'm not sure height is as important to them as they say. I'm 6'4" and it never seemed to give me any special advantage. Women treated me as badly as they treat any other man, and lots of them found other reasons to reject me (mainly because I didn't have money, I read a lot, I am a musician, and I didn't fit into any one clearly identifiable social group so I was just "weird"). They're neurotic as hell. For a couple of weeks at my previous workplace some woman was sneaking into one of the men's rooms and wiping period blood all over the toilet seats. Damn that stank. I don't know what kind of point she was making, except showing everyone how warped her mind was.

Hormones and biology, and the hope that this time it will be different. I'm sure there are women who aren't like this, but I've never been in a relationship with one. I've had some female friends I could share emotions with, but not a female romantic partner. For me, two marriages that followed the exact same plot are more than enough. I'm never going to do it again.

It's been my experience that women don't really want you to express your feelings except in very narrow limits set by them. They don't mean REALLY express your feelings. Often it's just a test. Just as often, she may think she wants you to express your feelings but will recoil in discomfort or shock if you actually do it. If you take her at her word, three things usually happen: First, you let your barriers down and really tell her how you feel, and she will use it against you later in an argume…

Lots of married men or men in relationships with women don't have friends because the woman resents those friendships and does her best to break them. Whether it's jealousy, resource guarding, insecurity, desire to dominate, or the idea that "your life before me is over" or "your life began when you met me," lots of them do it. My first wife and my mother worked together to keep me away from my friends! So to hell with this talk of their "burden."

True. But I also remember right before my 8th birthday my (divorced) mother telling me after I hugged her one day: "you're too old to hug me now; don't do it anymore." Besides seeing girls do things in school and not get into trouble like boys did, and seeing how damn mean and hurtful girls could be compared to boys, this was when I started learning what life would be like for a male in this world. It really hurt and confused me when my mother basically rejected me that way. I didn't understand …

Control freaks, indeed. Last year my dog died and there weren't any around in the local shelters. I thought I'd adopt one from a rescue organization. What a nightmare. Those Karens running the organizations wouldn't even let me see one, and were always coming up with excuses why I couldn't adopt one even though I own my home and have a 2 acre lawn. Listen to me. Pay attention. Don't ignore what I'm saying to you. This is a warning to all men reading this. I'm doing you a favor. I'm 53 years old. I live in the southern US. I've been married twice. Both times I married the best, sweetest, kindest, most submissive and affectionate traditional Christian women I could find. And they both turned into nagging horror shows. She's a "boss bitch" now. That's what women are told they should be now and since they can't think for themselves, that's what she will be. "Boss Bitch" means you have to be a bitch if you're a boss (especially if you're a real one and not just talking crap). 70s and earlier feminists used to say the world would be better if women were in charge because they're more empathetic and nurturing, but that's not turned out to be true. Women are extremely hierarchical and competitive, and when they are…

Let that be a lesson to any man who goes to bars or clubs. Keep your distance from the women! I used to go out to bars to hang out with my friends and fellow musicians and have dinner, and there are lots of especially unstable women who hang out in public places just waiting to start drama like this. Don't interact with them! Don't even look at them! One time my cousin was at a bar and just looked at a woman and tried to start a conversation with her, and she decided she wanted some entertainmen…

Because every relationship I've ever had left me feeling miserable and more alone than when I was single. For a number of years I thought I just needed to find The One and she'd be perfect and I'd finally experience this true love thing. You can be as Chad as you want, but you marry a woman and you end up with a sucking black hole of negativity that devours your life. Everything she used to think was interesting about you now irritates her. Everything she marked as one of your personality traits is now something you must change. She's never happy. Women weren't all that much better in my hometown in the southern US when I was dating in the 80s. They looked better and you rarely saw the rainbow hair, tattoos, piercings, smoking, or any of that. Their essence was basically as clueless, selfish, venal, and childish as now, but social media and the constant barrage of cultural bullshit has amplified those negative traits and the entitlement impulse to hyper levels. She's been a smoker for decades, so her aging face isn't just biology and it certainly isn't patriarchy.....it's to a large degree her own fault. She looks like a 50+ year old woman who's a smoker, and that's exactly what she is. But we know they never take responsibility for anything.

I have definitely experienced women being jealous of my dogs. A woman can't stand you give attention to anything but her, and she is jealous of anything in your life that predates her relationship with you. She seems to want your life before she came along to be a blank state, as if you were nothing and had nothing before her! Hell my last wife straight up told me she didn't care how I felt or what I thought about anything, and that I was worthless because I didn't make as much money as she thought SHE deserved and didn't put her feelings or need first. Stand up to a woman and she'll eventually tell you exactly what she thinks of you. Once you accept their judgments and agree to make changes in yourself for the sake of the relationship, a woman knows she has you under control and sets the narrative of your relationship. From that point on, nothing you ever do will be good enough; there's always another thing about you to criticize. If she can't find it, she'll invent it. And no change you make will be sufficient.
