prioritize quantity over quality in your relationships until you are able to define quality for yourself. Most important piece of advice I'll took from your post. It never occured to me before but it really is a no-brainer once it's said.

I agree. Bouldering is a complete workout in itself. Individual in the way you don't need a spotter (at least indoors) and minimal equipment (climbing shoes and off you go). It is then really easy to approach people to ask or give advice. Always got good feedback when I did.

His point was more : who doesn't clean up things like this, especially before inviting someone else in your bedroom ?

Getting into hobbies makes you meet more people, which are easy to bond with because you're in the same place with already known common interests. Then it attracts other people because they see you in a group, or just the group bonding together, and want to be a part of it. If you're searching to bond with someone, girl or group, avoid serious topics, and if asked about it, be short. I had in mind your attitude, posture. Locking eye contact, nod to acknowledge presence of others, be warm. That's…

You've said it yourself : they have the focus of the group. The difference resides in your status : you're labeled as the fun guy, people lesson, the group ask more, and remember/laugh. On how to change away from supplicating, simply wait for someone to show interest in you instead of storytelling your week trying to get a reaction from others, aka seeking validation. No interest shown ? Time to work again on yourself. Repeat later.

Recording your voice is a good advice here, because we're not used to hear our own voice like others do. And the difference is quite noticeable. The day I recorded my voice for the first time on my phone was the day I took notice of two things : I didn't spell my own fucking name clearly, when trying to be clear (imagine the impact on your social life when others can't even understand who you are) My "average" voice was two octaves notes higher than I thought. Edit : word.

You will never be sure how to quit unless you try. I've progressively reduce from 10 a day to 1-2 by just taking one cigarette with me instead of the whole pack. if it's the gesture of blowing smoke that pleases you, buy a electronic cig. And even if you take one cig again from time to time, it's still better than half a pack a day.

Thank you for your post. I'm going to emphase on a detail fucking important in my opinion : Before 12 I always looked at smokers like full retards. And then around 15, I figured out that for someone who struggles to bind with people, a cigarette helps a ton. There's always smokers in a party, within co-workers and what else. And just with that, you're part of the group. Doesn't matter if it doesn't last long, you get your fix of normal, casual conversation you're so eager to have. And then soon …

And the white (orange) knight on this video (at 3:30) from Stop A douchebag, getting out of his car to defend the poor lady, who didn't give a single fuck to roll on a foot and moving forward with two men on her car (from 1:30 in the video)...

Thank you for your feedback, the part on inertia really rings a bell on me.

Well, I did it for myself first, laying it down... And wanted feedback on it. I think too a little attentioni is helping as well in these situations. But I understand your point : let's this be a timestamp, and improve it in the next weeks.

What is wrong with saying to not listening to his own self in hard times, when the only output of it is just sorrow and anger ? I'm genuinely asking, I understand the help of qualified people is beyond everything else. But it seems to me that this argument is often displayed, and the matters itself of depression is no longer discussed enough, and discarded despite its importance.

If you do, marry someone richer than you so you don't get divorce raped So, we should complain only about the fact that we are on the wrong side of the spectrum regarding marriage laws ? And if we were on the "right" side, well good for us ? Seriously, this is the exact same "logic" displayed by the standard 20's bitch at the beginning of the party before getting wasted.

You made no analysis of keypoints in this book, nor even presented it. How is this helping me to decide if it's worth my time ?

One way or the other, I don't understand. If she says she has a boyfriend, there's no need to look at the problems with different angles : she must have one. And even if she's lying, what's the point ? Do you want to escalate with a girl who is not clear with her feelings/not as much interested as your are ? IMO, you're loosing time with her.

A complete disaster ? Op just introduced himself as pretty shy and described one of his first attempt... where he manage to approach the girl and take her number. Where is the disaster ? It's already a success, especially at moments in the day when people don't expect to be approached. Give people time, we don't go from AFC to perfect in one day.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
