I turned up to a tinder date and the guy said “nah, not for me” and left

I’d go on a date with him. For science. It’s either top tier satire or he’s a therapist’s wet dream, I need to know which.

I’m not sure your dislike of something makes it worthy of banning.

Bumble gives women a taste of what it’s like to be a man in the world of online dating and they don’t like it? Hmm

No I think your rambling and incoherent post is about as useful as a cock flavoured lollipop.

You can’t have a post called “the truth” then begin with “I believe”

I can see why you think this is right.

Lol the irony.

So your point is “not all women”?

I think a big part of this is the lack of ability to judge tone from text. If you read something looking for meanness you’ll find it, in the same way that if you read something looking for a positive spin you’ll find that too. But also, yes, there are some mean knobheads here, and probably a higher density of them here than elsewhere. I think the issues covered in this sub bring out the worst in everybody.

I was referring to the use of the word harlot. But sure. I’m sure you think this is some incredibly profound sentiment, but it’s really not.

I think there’s some truth in the idea that you’re insecure if you care. It hasn’t hurt anyone, it doesn’t make them a bad person, and it’s none of your business. If I have a body count of 100, but then after meeting you decide that I’m going to stop at 101, is that a bad thing? Do you also think that you wouldn’t date someone who has told another man that they love them?

So just to clarify. You won’t treat a woman like a whore if she has a lot of sex, but you’d have sex with her and nothing more, because she isn’t worthy of your commitment?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/21 08:14 PM

Done be silly. You’d have absolutely no idea how many men I may or may not have slept with from the way I behave. If someone tells you their body count it’s because they think you’re a good enough person not to judge them and be weird about it.

I can’t imagine that there are very many women where you know nothing about their character, but know how many men they have slept with. I’d suggest a slightly less formulaic approach to choosing people to date if I were you.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/21 07:20 PM

Does the same rule apply to you? Should I question your character if you have slept with 50 people?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/21 07:03 PM
-2

Completely. I wouldn’t want to be with someone who was sleeping with other people either. But why would it be an issue if some I was sleeping with had slept with other people in the past?

I think a lack of sexual health education is probably a bigger factor in that than the number of sexual partners. In my experience, people who have a lot of sex are very proactive with their sexual health. (Although I'll admit that it is far from a random sample of population)

What century is it? Why would body count be an issue at all? Body count since you became exclusive should be the only thing that matters.

I think there’s more to it than age. But I think power dynamic disparities aren’t ok. Don’t care about the gender, but if one person has all the money, or is significantly older then for me that’s an issue. There are obviously exceptions, and every relationship can’t be boiled down to something so banal, but in general. It’s probably not ok.

Well you said “afraid” so I was working with that. I’m all for being wary of strangers. But being particularly uncomfortable about a certain group is prejudicial. If that keeps you safer, then sure, the ends justify the means. But it’s important to recognise the prejudice. I don’t “want” anything from you as an individual, but we all have a responsibility to each other as functioning members of society to keep each other safe, and part of that includes not perpetuating harmful rhetoric rhetoric …

I’m not sure what your question is. Statements like “all women are cheating whores” are disgusting, incorrect and have no place in civilised discussion. But what does that have to do with my comment?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/21 08:19 AM

That put me off my cornflakes…

Is your point that you’re scared of all men because of Ted Bundy? I’m sorry but that’s ridiculous. Am I scared of all brown people because of Osama Bin Laden? No. Am I scared of all women because of Carole Baskin? No. It’s a controversial opinion, but I think we are better (and safer) judging people on their individual merits or flaws than making sweeping statements based on feelings.

This is a weird one though. It’s definitely true that the vast majority of women will at some point have been scared that they were about to be the victim of an assault or worse. However, in almost all interactions between men and women, there is no assault. I walked passed thousands of women yesterday and didn’t assault any of them. Just because you’re scared, doesn’t mean you’re right. It’s definitely bogeyman territory.

I don’t think you have it as right as you think you do. I’ve numbered my responses to try and keep it vaguely relevant. You seem to be pushing a line that says women are treated as second class citizens, which unless you live in one of about 20 shithouse countries probably isn’t fair. There’s a million reasons why people think things about other people, and to reduce it to something like gender is pretty naive. I don’t think this is remotely accurate. If someone is good at their job nobody would…

You have a very strange way of looking at the world. It doesn’t seem hugely well informed but you’re clearly very convinced of it all. This is sad.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/21 07:18 AM

I agree for the most part, but “people should be less judgemental” isn’t remotely a hot take.

I am yeah. Not that anyone would listen to my advice on the topic, but the simplest form it would take would be “stop assaulting your children you fucks” There’s no sensible argument for it.

Mutilating children isn’t ok. Justifying it with some 2000 year old fairy tales is absolutely barbaric.
