Yeah and what's the source of that survey? Survey's are useless, because if you ask the right people, you can make the outcome of your survey show exactly what you want to show. If you asked 100 people in a Neo-Nazi group how they feel about Hitler, you'll get "98% of people asked agree Hitler wasn't a bad guy."

To add to point 2, it's also hard on the kids. The last single mother I was in a relationship with, I was in that child's life between the ages of 2 - 5. We had a mutual break up and as adults we were able to move past it. But her child was devastated about the break up, and it was really heartbreaking for me as well.

That was helpful. /s I have a gym membership, but the closest gym from my house is almost 30 mins away (I live in a rural area) and it's out of my way between home/work. So I end up maybe going once a week, if that. Hence, building up a home gym. Thanks for playing.

Came here to say exactly this. The closer you are to a phone camera, the more the image is distorted. I found getting a tripod and taking a "selfie" from about 5-8 feet away from the phone camera works really well. Pro-tip: Instead of using the camera timer, record a video so you can do several poses and then use software or screenshots to take still photos from the video.

Step 1: Don't live in the UK. If you live in a country that arrests people for having kitchen knives because you've already banned guns and still have murders and can't figure out why so you ban knives, you are certainly going to offend someone if you approach them and try to ask them for their phone number. 'Murica.

Some girls have no sense of height. At all. I once dated a girl that swore up-and-down she was "short" and 5'3". I'm 5'9" and she was almost my height. One day she kept denying she was taller, so I got out a tape measure and measured her. She was 5'7". She laughed it off, and kept on posting stupid short girl jokes on social media. I once tested this theory, told a Tinder date I was 6'0" tall. Even after meeting she never questioned my height. To be fair, us guys do it, too. Just not with our he…

.I started swiping right on everything And that destroyed your Tinder value (ELO) score. Tinder thinks you're a bot/spam and probably isn't showing your profile to many people. Never mass swipe right on everyone.
/r/askTRP04/11/19 02:21 PM

Actually not true. Bumble keeps your data for 30 days. If you create a new account with the same phone number or FB within 30 days of deleting, you'll get a fresh start on swiping, but your "score" based on the algorithm will be the same as your old account. There's a site (that I can't find now because I am at work) I think called swipehelper that has all the dirty details of how Tinder and Bumble work, and how to do a real reset of your account.

I didn't say they were. Not once did my comment even imply that. Let me rephrase, since your reading comprehension skills are not up to par. There's a certain group of people that do not like Peterson because he is a threat to their idea that "all men are toxic and bad" and they classify him as Alt-Right in an attempt to sway people away from him. Those people are vocal on social media and social "news" sites (Buzzfeed, etc) which means their false claims about Peterson gain a lot of attention. …

I'm guessing you've never actually read his books or watched his YouTube lectures? Liberal media calls him Alt-Right because they want to vilify him - because his views are a threat to the SJW/PC/Feminist "all men are bad and toxic" agenda. Politically, Peterson is more of a Classical Liberal, just to the right of center. I've met the guy personally and can say that he genuinely cares about people, and doesn't like to get too much into politics.

No problem, man. Yeah I've had a few girls ask what's wrong with me or if it's them when it happens. It's terrible and hard for me to maintain frame in those situations. And it seems like the hotter a girl is, the more likely it is to happen to me. So it's definitely psychological and in my head. The pills take that issue away, because it doesn't matter how I'm feeling or what I'm thinking, my junk is ready to get to business!

No joke here, if you're in good health, talk to your doctor and get Viagra. I'm 38 years old and in good health, but at times I suffer from ED. Especially when I'm with someone new, it takes me a few times to get comfortable with someone in bed. It's caused problems before in my dating life. Last time I went to the doctor for something unrelated, I explained the situation to my Doc. He gave me an Rx for the generic brand Viagra. I see a lot of RNs on dating apps because my area has 3 large hospitals and a community college that pumps out tons of nursing degree students. Every RN I've tried to date goes like this: Never has time to date because of crazy schedules (12+ hour days, usually works third shift.) All of her social media posts are about being a nurse. All of her conversations are about patients and the crazy things other nurses do during their shift. If they're really attractive, good chance there's a doctor or …

I don't get what the fuss is about swapping numbers. If they turn out to be burn-your-house-down crazy, just block the number. Or, if you're that worried about it, use Google Voice one of the many texting apps out there and give them that number instead. Anyone that doesn't want to give out their number is 90% not interested in you. I know, because as a guy I do the same thing. I've recently started dating a girl that has no social media. No Facebook, no Insta, No Snapchat. She's only about a 7/10 but the fact that she doesn't use social media for validation almost makes her an 8.5/10 in my book. Hypergamy. . Women generally date upwards from their social class. Not saying that it won't work out, but chances are at some point she'll want a guy that can match her socially and financially. And for good reason. I've been in your situation before, back before I had my break and became successful. Hell no! I'm a Tinder Gold user and see that I get a LOT of right-swipes by morbidly obese women that are 1-4's all the time. Probably because they swipe right on everyone in hopes of getting a few matches. If you matched with tons of 1-4's, the algorithm is going to assume that's your type and/or you're a 1-4 yourself. The best trick with Tinder Gold is to use the passport feature. Change your location (using Bangkok is a really good one but really anywhere will work) and left swipe 80% of the …

It's not your fault at all for this happening. Except, it completely IS his fault. There's a reason there's phrases like "Coke Dick" and "Whiskey Dick." Drinking and drugs can affect erections. It's also fully preventable by not doing self destructive things. So let's not coddle him and say "there there, it's okay, it's not your fault." Better advice is to say, "You fucked up. Tinder is something you use while you're taking a shit, not something to take seriously. Your Tinder matches are not the definition of your success as a man or of your dating ability. Dating apps are to be used as a supplement to your dating game, and certainly isn't worth spending money on to pay someone else to do it for you. You m…

That whole conversation in point number 2 is not based in reality. One, most girls won't respond to just "Hey, what's up?" All 144 of her Tinder matches send "Hey, what's up?" That's boring and doesn't get attention. Second, After saying, "Yeah I hear you." She's probably going to stop responding. That doesn't give her anything to go on to compose a response. That is exactly the right way to look at it. A slight variation of that has worked very well for me. "I'm going to [thing/event/place] on Wednesday night. You can meet me there if you want." The only proof I have is my personal experience. 9 out of 10 times, when I take charge and tell instead of ask I get the results I want. What really works is doing both at the same time. Example, instead of asking, "Do you want to go see a movie this weekend?" I both tell and ask, "Let's go see a movie this weekend. How about Saturday night?" The only times this doesn't work for me is when she's either truly busy at the proposed time, or she's not interested. Either way, I don't give her control…

I've actually been considering doing this myself. If the simp cuck idiots are going to send people money, why not send me some? I figure if my fake profile says $20 for my Premium Snapchat, and 10 guys fall for it, I make $200. I get the money, and they learn a life lesson.

Dear God THIS. A few years ago when I landed my "big boy" job, I paid off my debt and "rewarded" myself with a new Mercedes Benz. Now, 3 years into this car, I've spent so much damn money on maintenance that I could have used for something else. As much as I love that car, later this year I'm trading it off for something reliable but not flashy.

I personally think that anything that alters your state of mind or can be addictive is not being your best self. Being your best self and keeping yourself in good mental and physical shape is an exercise in self control, discipline, and responsibility.

Hmmm. That could be either a green flag or yellow flag. It's good that she doesn't take risks because it probably means she doesn't sleep around, party, and be irresponsible, which are good qualities for someone long term. But it's also a little worrisome because risk is a part of life. You have to take some risks, otherwise you sit stagnant in your life and never change or grow. That's not a good quality for long term. But I'm getting way deeper than your OP. Seriously, go get tested and don't …

Chances are she slept with someone in the past that gave her an STD (probably one cured with meds) and now she's overly careful. I'll admit it. I once caught something from a girl. A week of meds and it was gone, but was still pretty scary to know that it could have been something that doesn't go away. It definitely turned me off to sex for a little while. Honestly, unless you're into hookup culture and not looking for a relationship, this should be a sign of a mature, responsible adult. Which m…

I had something similar happen to me at my last job. Was at the company 8 years, praised by almost everyone in upper management. A position opened up in what would be the next logical step up in my career, and they hand picked someone else to promote into the position that had only been there 6 months. And to top it off, they didn't even want the position. It happened for two reasons. First, "diversity in the workplace." I'm a white guy. The person that got promoted was the only female in our gr…

As someone who's been a smoker for 20 years and trying desperately to quit, I can say with complete certainty, this idea you have is stupid and bad. You might as well just say, "I think I'll get addicted meth today, because the buzz is just 'fuarkin' nice." Be good to your body. Don't put shit in it that you don't need, including nicotine.

Yeah, me too. I'll give someone a few chances because "life" does happen and we have busy lives. And, probably and honestly, because she was pretty freaking cute. The take away here, though, is to not let it get to you. While some guys would be feeling down about some girl standing him up, I just look at it as I don't really fucking care. The times she bailed on me just meant I had more time do to me, go to the gym, catch up on TV shows, etc. Once you change your way of thinking, it's amazing ho…

I AM THE TABLE Facts about tables: Used to place food or drinks on A place to prop your feet up A place for unwanted things to accumulate To hold things that are decorative To take up empty space in a room Easily replaced when they are broken or damaged Me thinks a strong and independent woman would not want to compare herself to such an object.

I feel your pain on this one! Recently talked to this girl on a dating app, she's cute and we have a lot in common. She's not my type for dating, but I'd certainly chill with her and watch a movie. Multiple times she's stood me up.. First time: Asked her if she wanted to go to this restaurant in town that has 80s/90s arcade games. She was like "hell yeah!" She was supposed to get off work at 6:00 and we'd meet then, but she had to "work late" and we didn't go. Fair enough, people have to work la…

Either that, or the other direction where they signed up with their Facebook account. You know, the Facebook account they created when they were 14 but had to lie about their age when creating a Facebook account and made it 18. That's how you get 18 year olds on Tinder that say "I'm 18, I don't know why it says I'm 22 tee hee hee!"

I can relate to this. I have a good paying career, nice house, and a nice fancy car. I dress pretty well, and project my success in life. It helps attract someone to me, and girls do love being picked up for a date in a shiny Benz. I have these things for myself, not to show off. I like spending my money on myself. Early 2018 was a rough time financially, lots of maintenance on the house, my mother lost her job and needed help paying bills for a couple of months, etc. So right now I'm busy worki…

Technically, is it really dining and dashing if there's still someone left at the table that's capable of paying? But yeah, I know, in this age of "empowered women" if a girl ditched on a date and left the guy to pay (has happened before) she's applauded, but if a man did it, let's shame him.

Hard swipe left. All I see here is: "Here's a reminder to you who you're replacing and you must live up the memory of the father of my child that you'll take care of." Nothing wrong with single mothers trying to move on and date if their husband died, but this presentation is creepy and cringe.

Peak degeneracy. An ad, on an app that mostly kids use, advertising a game/app that clearly shows a HS girl pregnant and one of the options is basically lie and ruin the guy's life by saying it's his baby. This is disgusting and disturbing. EDIT: Yes, the girl's shirt says UNIVERSITY but it looks like they're standing in front of lockers. I've never seen a college with lockers in the hallway.

Have you ever used/heard of the app Whisper? Some girl posted on there the other night in my area "Can someone bring me food? I don't have a car to go out and I'm hungry." So I sent her a message to let her know that in our area there's several food delivery services, including Uber Eats. Her reply to that was, "But I don't have any money." Ohh I see, you just want free food because you have tits. Got it.
