Thank you! Being a sociology major I get the "talking to" a lot about how I generalize certain things. I have my personal filter on to not get carried away of course, but always have to explain that's just how sociologists gather certain conclusions.
the perception that they are incapable of wrong doing is related to the idea of no accountability. Since they never actually get in trouble, they have an artificially inflated sense of morality.
