It's not ideal but there are a lot of single parents that raise wonderful children. If you have both the money and the time, why not? The bigger concern are legal problems. In my country surrogacy is illegal. You can go to a foreign country, but as a single man you still need a woman to donate an ovum (is that the right term?) You don't want the surrogate mother to be the biological mother, she might change her mind, keep the child and make you pay child support.
