Self-esteem is the act of looking at the lie you tell yourself that put you beneath people (or above them), then replacing the lie with a truth that you believe more than the lie. So, breaking that down. First you’d have to be able to see your thoughts clearly without judgment. If you can’t do that, the solution is mindfulness meditation or maybe journaling. Next you’d have to be able to debate the lie that put you down, and win, which would require a licensed therapist or for you to have extens…

I agree, the problem is summarizing traits as hot and other then coming up with a number for that person. It’s stupid as fuck, honestly. Realistically there’s a lot more traits to a long-term partner worth prioritizing. Everyone on this planet would like a partner who is: beautiful, 2. honest/trust-worthy, 3. funny, 4. curious, 5. has the same interests, 6. affectionate, 7. career-driven, 8. intelligent, 9. Shares your sexual appetite A normal person prioritizes from those traits. Like, beauty i…

Person 1: Has an inflated ego, think their gender is superior, has a sociopathic, careless attitude towards the entire opposite gender. Person 2: Has low self-esteem and is desperate for love/affection and believes anyone they date is out of their league. They live to appease their partner’s emotions. Both genders are capable of being both of those people, Both of those people have shitty relationships. Both attract each other, and then the Person 2 becomes Person 1 after Person 1 scorns them. I…

Did you read past the second sentence? I didn't use MBTI to put myself in a box, I used it to get out of the box. Doing it all for a confirmation bias would serve zero purpose in improving traits that I lacked. I don't "identify" with an INFP (anymore), because I purposely developed traits that an INFP is weak in to become a more well-rounded person. In order to not be a stereotype of a personality I had to learn what stereotype I was.

I can read any horoscope for anyone and say “sure, I can see that being true for me”. But if got typed as a ESTJ and read the weaknesses, I’d say: “nope that’s not accurate at all, those are my strengths”. Same with ISTP. ISTJ, and ESTP. I used it to reassess myself from a neutral perspective, and figure out how I can develop traits that I valued in others but had an immature attitude towards. Its been a couple of years since I even looked at anything MBTI but looking back I’d say it worked.

This is great. Just so I get the gist of it: Anxious-preoccupied to men put all women on a goddess pedestal. These men are clingy, insecure, low self-esteem people. Dismissive-avoidant men think all women are manipulative/evil. These men are anti-social, passive aggressive, cocky flakes. The first type are afraid they aren’t good enough for their partner. The second are afraid of becoming the first type (again, because they probably were at some point). Both are unhealthy opposites of each other…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
