RSD Tyler hands down, along with The Way of the Superior Man by David Deida. Sadly Tyler has taken down most of his old classic material, some of which were absolutely outstanding, such as "The Game is an Odyssey of the Mind" etc.

Yes you should seek failure or “fail forward." My entire pickup history has been based on “failing” multiple times to warm up, but there is a better way to think about it. Tyler has always said lower your criteria for success, that way it is never a failure. Simply approach and have her walk away and that is a 100/10 success, if you choose that to be your starting point. The only true “failure” is not approaching. Any guy who goes up and gets blown out is a hero and yes you HAVE to do that if yo…

Nice summary of Tyler's entire philosophy : ) This is what "state" means or meant originally yet people got confused about it. Tyler's six steps are in order to reach this flow "state," and you mention most of them in this.

This right here. Tyler and Julien are elite level, and RSD teaches the truth that is too hard for people to grasp. For guys who need more hand holding and technical babble, listen to Todd. RSD is leaving the masses behind and I honestly am glad to see it.

Amen brother, Tyler really saved me after being abused and physically hit by a woman I was with for a while. He changed my entire life and I practice his teachings with game all the way. I agree he likely didn’t always talk that way, and in person he probably doesn’t either. I imagine it’s his teaching persona (which is very effective if you ask me).

It’s key for me to get in state or flow. It’s the only real thing that matters for me. I think Tyler’s teachings and his six steps are absolutely essential and transformational, yet not many people see it. I “barked” at a girl randomly yesterday and my buddy was like “how the hell did you do that?” It’s all based on Tyler’s six steps, which is not exactly the same as just shotgunning but it is similar. Now I dunno if barking will help anyone but it was the frame and state I achieved, not the act…

It’s a question that needs no answer, since all you can do is follow the path. I’m 31 and have very little compared to other guys my age but it doesn’t stop me at all. I find that owning your position, hopes, and feelings is key. Show the girl a meta awareness of the situation. It also helps if you do everything in your power to change your life even if it means cleaning your room or uninstalling video games, quitting drinking etc. if you have ANY bad habits left at this age you are DONE. Even i…

I notice girls leave if you KEEP gaming them. The most advanced “game” is played in comfort and empathy, not jokes and bullshit. Give her real love but WITH validation. The balance is not easy and is different depending on the girl but I know a lot of girls get bored when the guy just jokes about shit too much and can’t be vulnerable. Obviously being needy and judgmental is bad, but I think there’s a higher meta awareness that keeps women.

It sounds like you and most people simply have or had no idea what Tyler’s vision of game is, and how revolutionary it is. It doesn’t matter if he has social proof, getting into the state he does is the pinnacle of game. Anything less is a waste of time. Tyler’s teachings will never be mainstream precisely because nobody is willing to accept it. In the beginning you wrote that his six steps weren’t your style. Why do you have a style to begin with? If you just want one hot girlfriend technical g…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
