In your mid 20s? Yeah.

Most guys are dumb. Make it very obvious that they can talk to you. Or else they just won't try anything out of fear of getting rejected right away.

Exactly. She is not someone to have a relationship with. The dude was never her boyfriend it was just his turn. And now it's OPs turn. And then someone else. Don't date cheaters.

Exactly. I would not say that 5'8" is short. It's average.

Isn't 5'8 like the worldwide average or something? You ain't that short bro.

It really depends on the guy. Like most things really. I personally love it. It's a very underrated part of the bedroom experience in my opinion.

Simple as that

It's pretty realistic as far as I am concerned. I've seen things like that happen. Consistency is the key. It's really not as hard as it seems.

Anyone can turn their life around in about a year with discipline. OP would be 28. And it's never too late to improve yourself. Also he has the advantage of being a guy. Women like older dudes so even at 30 he could still find a girl in her mid to late 20s that would be interested. It's not all gloom and doom.

You can't just make a dating life happen out of the blue. He needs to have a life first. It sounds rude, but it's just the way it is. Most girls want someone with a life lol.

I suggest going to the gym and joining some sort of club on the weekends. Could be any activities or sports. Try to socialize with people as much as possible. Learn new skills. Dating shouldn't be your priority right now. Having friends is more important in my opinion because it will help your dating life.

Social media. It ruined dating. Average looking women have many options now while average looking men struggle to get attention from women. That creates an environment of weak men.

A tip that helped me is to talk to anyone if it makes sense to talk to them. And be playful while doing so. People want to have a good day and a little conversation that stands out from their boring routine will stay in their heads. You can do this everywhere. You know sometimes you get random encounters that last 10 seconds with strangers that just feels good and then they disappear and you never see them again? Be that person. People will remember you for a bit. And then if you keep going to t…

Depends on your goals. My good buddy became electrician, but stayed at his parents house. He will soon buy a triplex. If that doesn't scream having your shit together I don't know what does. He's only 23. I don't think that dating should be a priority to the point where you move out just because you can get more women or something. Especially nowadays. Everything is so expensive. To me, my financial life is far more important than my dating life. The financial decisions that you make now affect …

Not to mention that accumulating money while living with your parents is easy. Especially when you have a good job. There are pros and cons. It's obviously not good for dating, but it's great financially.

If she is really just a fuck friend, well forget about her. It seems like she wants to be more than that. If it's not mutual this is not gonna work.

The thing with girls (especially in high school) is that it gets exponential. If 3 girls want you, other girls will notice and start paying attention. And then it can get crazy from there. My best friend was like this. He never dated girls before he was 16 and then I started giving him some advice here and there. He surpassed me in no time. It eventually came to a point where every girl wanted him for herself. Not because he was the most handsome. Not because he had a lot of money. Not because h…

Some of us are slower or shy. It happens. Some of us are also pretty dumb. Unless something is very clear, these guys won't make moves. I was like that when I started dating. I didn't want to make girls uncomfortable or something because I always saw stuff about women getting touched inappropriately and everything so I always waited for some pretty obvious consent for any moves I would make. Even when it just came to compliments. It was awkward as fuck lmao. I doubt that this would be the case h…

It works because he's flirty with everyone. So it does not come off as creepy. He's also very confident and has a lot of talent when it comes to being smooth with women. My tip would be, try to be a little bit flirty with women in general. They will see that you are simply like this in general and they won't get scared.

Sounds like she just likes attention honestly. Some girls are like that. They are always in some kind of relationships. Either a real one or something like this. They need a guy around them. Problem is, she needs you around her for the wrong reasons lol.

It happened once to me and I still think about it. Happened 3 years ago. She just thought that it was cute, but it really destroyed my confidence. To this day I'm still very careful and nervous. Probably because I didn't have much sex since then. It's a big deal for some. It is for me. I just couldn't believe it and thought that I was a failure lmao.

I enjoy it quite a bit. It's refreshing. Some guys might not like it, but I would say that they are the minority. Just have a good way to approach guys and everything should turn out in your favor.

Give him very obvious clues. Most guys are dumb. I am one of them. I can't tell when a girl is flirting with me or just being nice. Some are naturally flirty, but don't want anything from me. Anyways, all of that to say: assume that he is stupid and doesn't know what's going on. Because that's most likely the case. He won't make a move unless he is sure that you like him.

Practice, good posture, take care of your appearance, speak to as many people as possible as long as it feels natural and most importantly be a version of yourself that you are proud of. Work on the things you need to work on. Whatever that might be.

It's harder for a lot of people since Covid. I don't know where you live, but some restrictions don't make it easy for dating at all. Or you could have lost social skills during the pandemic. It happened to me. I was at peak confidence before the Covid and I walked like ten steps backwards. I need to work on it. If all of this doesn't apply to you well I don't really know what you could do except improving yourself. You know the regular stuff. Working out, finding new hobbies, improving your soc…

Well just know that it's perfectly ok to be in your situation. You have standards and you respect yourself. It's a good thing. Now if you do want to have sex, but you aren't comfortable with strangers, well get to know the guys you meet. Text them first if you are really interested. It sure would get my attention since it's pretty rare. If a guy doesn't text you after they get your number, they either don't know how to approach the situation or they think that it will just be another contact tha…

This is a bit vague. There is some good advice on youtube, but it's not for everyone. It depends on who you are, your age, your attractiveness, your confidence and so much more. My take on it is that these guys generally make a list of like "3 things alpha males do that turn women on!" And then the 2nd one is wearing the nice watch from the company that sponsored the video. These guys are mostly running a business. I think there is good advice on youtube, but stay away from the big channels who …

Well you sure seem financially stable so you can focus pretty much entirely on your social life. Try learning a new skill or hobby. A new sport or something. Make some good friends and they will then give you access to their social circle. Go on from there. Don't focus on women too much for now since you need to build a healthy social life first.

With practice. Even if we tell you all the advice in the world your first shots will probably miss unless the girl is very interested in you. It's also gonna put pressure on yourself because you will try to remember every piece of advice here. Be confident, not too aggressive, have a good time and it should be just fine. Dancing helps a lot.

I get your points and I do agree that most of them could work, but you need to keep in mind that you must be sure that the woman is at least interested in you or else she's gonna hate it. These tips also shouldn't be used too much. I noticed that women in the comments are all saying that this would be a huge turn off. I think that it would be one if they notice what you are doing. If you use these tips sparingly, it should be alright. Anyways, I'm personally over that kinda stuff. Too much playi…

It's easier that way because there is no pressure for the girl since she is with friends. As long as their friends like you they will be on your side most of the time if the girl is available. It's also easier for conversation because they will help you through it.

Good reply. If you absolutely need to talk about it, this is probably the best way to go. No need to be too specific. A lot of men dated plenty of women, but never had true relationships.

Go back to it if it helps. Try new stuff. You got nothing to lose. Try to live in the moment, set some goals and you will be alright. Sometimes, we overthink too much. Just have a healthy way of life with balance in all aspects of it and you will get better. I was in your spot too.

Online dating is crap for men. It's just the way it is. A good looking girl can be extremely picky if she wants too. There are far more men than women on dating apps and these men are generally more serious about it. Some women are just there to boost their Instagram numbers for example. Also if you don't pay for gold or something, the algorithm won't favor you at all. Just get rid of dating apps honestly. It's not really worth it imo. It just inflates the ego of these girls and brings down your…

Never too late. Definitely try to get rid of porn ASAP. Keep in mind that girls don't know that you are inexperienced. So if it really is something that you are self conscious about, you can just not talk about it with them. Try to talk to women. Any woman. Not necessarily in a sexual way. The more time you spend with women, the more you understand them. I would say that getting sex out of your mind when approaching a hot woman would be beneficial. It will only make you nervous and distracted. O…

Amazing post. A lot of young men should hear this. One of the things that contributed to this situation in the wrong way is that a lot of young men now attribute cold approaches and shooting your shot as "toxic" or something. Or they are scared to be seen as "toxic". The old school way to do things wasn't perfect, but plenty of stuff in there worked just like you said. We need to learn from the past and carry over what worked. Not throw it all away because some parts are outdated.

Try to become someone you are proud of. Not physically. Mentally. Learn new things. Find new hobbies. Have a busy social life. This stuff makes you attractive and you will feel really good about yourself. Posture is a big thing too. Very overlooked and most people don't have great posture especially nowadays with our computers/phones. I'm guilty of that too and started working on it. I saw results socially already. People seem to have more respect for you, which is weird. I assume that it's a na…

I agree, but there is a context to every situation. A lot of guys (especially those who seem desperate) just really need to work on themselves before focusing on getting a partner. I have been in that spot and women did not make me happy since I was in shitty relationships just because I thought I absolutely needed a woman in my life. Good women will make you happy, but to be with a good woman that checks as much boxes as possible, you first need to be the kind of guy that she would like. Those …

Getting out of a vicious cycle like that is hard. Try to do things that get you in a good mood. Working out helped me a lot for example. Then try to talk to people. Not girls. People. Learn to be a bit more socially active with everyone. With good practice it will come naturally and won't feel like an act anymore. It's not easy. Especially nowadays. Everybody seems to live in their own bubbles it's crazy. At least were I live. Not good for anyone if you ask me unless you really are a lone wolf. …

Well it depends on what you need to improve. If you want general advice, with practice. Nobody just becomes good at something out of the blue unless they are very natural at it. In that case, it most likely comes from their childhood and early teenage years.

Talk to people. Learn to talk to strangers. Just go for it. Eventually you will be able to approach girls in a good way and you will find a girl that is interested. Be confident, interesting and playful in every interactions. It comes with practice. I don't know if my comment is relevant, but most of the time people who are in your situation simply don't talk to enough girls.

Ok first of all, the gym is generally not a place to approach women if you are inexperienced. Even if you are, you need to be the guy that everyone talks to. If you wanna get there, get to know the people at your gym. It's gonna help you practice and then when you will approach a girl you will be ready AND she won't think you are creepy or anything because to her you're just a cool dude who talks to people.

I have the same problem. You kinda need to talk and act with the girls you want as if you don't want them lmao. I noticed that it really attracts them. Gives them a challenge I guess. Keep in mind that people want what they can't have. It goes for both men and women.

First thing to avoid doing is telling her that you are a virgin. Idk if you do that, but you really shouldn't in my opinion. Unless it turns her on. But yeah you can turn things around easily. Dating is not as big of a deal as people make it seem to be. You need to get out of your head that it will be "hard to get laid" for you. Work on yourself as much as possible. In every single aspect of your life. Best advice that I could give you: would you date yourself if you were a girl? Are you a man t…

Forget about women. You don't need a woman in your life. A girlfriend/wife is a partner. A teammate. Not a part of you. It sounds like you need to work on yourself buddy. Work out, find passions/hobbies, read some books and try to be as successful as you possibly can be. Do it for yourself. With that kind of lifestyle, it would be pretty weird if you still could not get a girl. Practice your social skills as much as possible too. You can never practice enough. Be playful, do some teasing. Try to say things that aren't too generic. Being different sure gets my attention. A girl that knows who she is and what she wants is a big turn on when a lot of girls kinda model their personalities after instagram/tik tok celebrities. Have personality. Try to make him associate as much stuff as possible with you. Let's say a certain song for example. I still see images of some girls that I dated years ago because of that and it's often a pleasant memory. In short, …
