I wouldn’t characterize myself as a traditional male OR a feminist. But OP, you do make some accurate, if uncomfortable (for some) points. Whenever a group is marginalized, shouldered aside, discriminated against? Of course suicide rates, substance abuse increase. We’ve been seeing this for a long time now, with white males in North America. Demonized, blamed for pasts they had no part in, unfairly called ‘toxic’ just for existing. Systematically deprived of opportunities and social mobility by …

Welcome. I firmly believe everyone deserves a stable, loving relationship; after all, we’re all born on planet Earth just the same.

This is very true. Men need to be willing to be alone rather than be pushed off their center.

Well, that surprises me that you never had women approach you before. I don’t think any woman ever approached me out of the blue; mostly those I worked with, or knew socially but didn’t see all the time. There was a lot of attention when I hit some metrics ie broader shoulders, defined biceps and narrow waist. That seemed to somehow trigger almost unconscious interest. lol and one of my female coworkers who was a big, loud, outgoing girl found my Instagram (where I post workout pics because my m…

Admirable. And who knows, she might be single sometime.

Maybe. I do know it worked for me. And it helps me to be more centered. If you’re comfortable living in your own skin, maybe it gives you some of that confidence’ the PUA types are always on about. However, maybe getting active in a hobby, or a cause would do the same?

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. We teach girls to guard carefully who they let close. We don’t do that for boys, and it’s a HUGE disservice. You’re very right - there’s plenty of women who wouldn’t want to talk to a man who’d expressed an interest in dating ever again. And we DO need to teach men that they need to recognize that, and politely withdraw. ‘Anything BUT an enthusiastic yes is a NO’ is a very real truth. Instead of the ‘keep pursuing her! She’ll come fall for you!’ line t…

Men aren’t taught to guard themselves. Not the way girls are. And that’s a huge disservice to boys in our society. Instead, we’re told to pour our hearts out to a girl, or hang around like a puppy until she magically notices how great we are. Reality is far, far different. And that often leaves men bitter. In this case, how about we teach OP to avoid the pitfalls, and save him some heartache?

I have to agree. And it’s not like you need to throw up your hands and despair because you didn’t win some genetic lottery and are a Chad. Just get fit. If you have even partly visible abs, nice arms and a tan, you’re automatically in the top 20% of North American males. And women DO notice. Cultivate a manner of speaking, carrying yourself that you admire. Hell, start talking like Christopher Walken if that seems cool to you. Work on things YOU want to accomplish in life. Do your best to make m…

Yeah, there’s a few misconceptions in your answer. Most men AREN’T violent rapists. Sorry. And plenty of women DON’T give a definite no - which would be appreciated by most men - simply because they want to keep the emotional support, favors, money etc from romantically attracted men without having to do girlfriend things in return. This happens a LOT more than a girl being frightened for her safety, no matter what misanthropes on Reddit will try and tell you.

Women are hardwired to be constantly evaluating the benefit the men around them offer. And ruthless about removing the ones who don’t bring enough. They’re built to have children, after all. Simply put, OP? She didn’t think you were worth it. Not physically attractive enough, or offering enough money/stability for her to devote her time and energy. However, you’ll notice they always want to be ‘friends’. This means they’re perfectly willing to let you give them emotional support, ego boosts, eve…
/r/seduction27/08/24 06:44 PM

Trust me, some of us guys have more perspective on this than we’d ever want. You characterized it pretty much perfectly.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/24 01:11 PM

Not really. OP is making a point that’s difficult for most men to accept. Women are hardwired to like handsome and muscular. And that’s ALL women.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/08/24 04:56 PM

True. All of it. The best test any guy can conduct is this: Ask a girl out while you’re not in shape. Race yourself for rejection. Have zero contact with same girl for six months. During that time, go on an aggressive campaign of muscle building and fat loss. Focus specifically on acquiring a trim waist and d road shoulders/bigger arms. Armed with newly acquired physique and v-taper, ask same woman out again. Success. Women are easy to figure out; it’s just that men seek excuses for failure.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/08/24 04:55 PM

I find Italian guys in their 20s have no problem catcalling attractive women, either. Things that’d be considered harassment in North America.

I hate to say this, OP, but you need to be better looking. Looks and muscles attract women. From what you’ve told me, you go through life interacting with women who have their politeness shields up around you.

No one wants to admit they’re shallow beings, wired that way by Mother Nature. Of course no amount of toastmasters is going to make an ugly guy into a pussy magnet. You can’t trick or negotiate women into loving you.

Both aren’t aliens who landed in the lawn fifteen minutes ago. But even if the plain looking guy had an entire stand up routine, could do a magic trick AND recite Shakespeare? The boy with the abs and arms is going to get her attention.

You don’t have to be a raving lunatic - there’s literally ten football fields worth of middle ground there. Even ‘Hahahaha, I know, right!’ And ‘Whoa, that’s a TOTALLY me!’ Work just fine for the handsome guy. And women who are physically attracted really engage a LOT more. They’ll laugh like hell at every one of the cute guys jokes. Then turn around and be like ‘ughh, yeah, sure…’ with the ugly guy.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/24 04:19 PM

Very often, yes. And we don’t teach boys and young men to spot this behavior and stop it. We teach girls to protect themselves all the time, but never boys.

You actually put that pretty well, props 👍 I think the hardest pill of any color for most guys to swallow is that unless they’re attractive physically, there’s no amount of ’escalating’ or ‘timing’ that’ll help them. And any type of toastmasters Jedi mind tricks are only going to be met with defensiveness. Your point number (2) is a perfect example. The girl who friendzones you might change her tune if she sees you with another girl who’s at least as pretty. Especially if it’s a social setting a…

You’re not gonna lecture her into being on all fours on your bed. If you want sex? Then you’ll need physical attraction. If you want pleasant conversation that’s a different thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/24 03:47 PM

You won’t win this. Women ALL have a blind spot for any male who doesn’t meet a minimum threshold of physical good looks. And they’ll all swear up and down that this isn’t so. Or, in your case, start calling you ‘incel’. Fact is, the better looking these guys they’re holding up as examples are? The better conversationalists they suddenly are.

You think that’s what I’m doing? As if there’s some great Secret you’ve been kept from? How about you work on you? Be a better person. Get in shape. Volunteer. Go back to school or take a course. Be the type of person others - women - want to be around. Go outside and touch grass. And maybe take a break from all the incel mumbo jumbo. No one needs to be a Chad to find a girlfriend. The world is FULL of people. Contrary to what the majority of men in this sub say, getting a date isn’t hard.

I’ll field this one. Me cause it’s pretty obvious that if you have trouble getting laid, suddenly the fact that someone else can is ‘shallow and meaningless’. Maybe if you didn’t make assumptions like that, and developed some social skills, you’d have more sex. But don’t lash out at those who do.

Sorry OP, but this entire (REALLY long) rant seems more to be about making others so what YOU feel Is somehow moral and upright. That’s never a good look. If you want to be monogamous, fill your boots - there are plenty of you men and women whose sex drives are more geared that way. But please DONT extend that to everyone. There are also plenty of people who do thrive on variety. That’s equally as okay, whether you like to hear it or not. It just somehow sounds like you haven’t gotten to do as m…

I’ve been where you are in the past year. She was OUR best friend. And it became increasingly clear she was only with me to glean gossip about my ex. This may sound crude, she literally stopped mid-sex and told me she would rather die alone than have an actual relationship with me. After my wife of almost 20 years had walked out on me and our kids, THAT was a pretty hard stab to recover from. Who ever said we don’t meet in person first? Nvrmind, you likely got that from my post. And NO, they’re all decent looking people. Like anyone you just need to get to know one another. Everyone is a human person, worthy of being treated respectfully.

Instead of bashing OP so heavily, maybe we should acknowledge that there’s a real culture problem with women in North America. With the rise of social media, they’re somehow expected to be some sort of cross between Wonder Woman and a porn star, and get told they’re only worthwhile if they have a celebrity lifestyle and rich, tall sexy husband. And they all seem to kill themselves to get it. Those who don’t, understandably, end up bitter and angry. Same is true for men, at an even bigger scale. …

Takes the romance out of things a little, but that’s basically it. I think women get sold a bill of goods in our society when it comes to partnering. They get told they have to have ‘sparks’, and that when they see their true love it’ll all just be destiny. Maybe men are just a little more practical. Especially those men who’ve had their hearts broken and their noses rubbed in it by women a few times.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/24 01:08 PM

Women don’t like being reminded of human nature. Especially in a Hollywood-land world where things ‘just happen and no one can explain it, it’s fate!’. It isn’t just women either. Nobody likes being reminded we’re all pretty much pre programmed in our choices, period.

Can’t comment on the whole PUA scene, but I do know if a woman’s interested she’ll always let you know. And I do know from experience that the real heartache in a man’s life comes when he loves a woman who doesn’t love him back. Better to be able to recognize that and withdraw with as much self respect as possible.
/r/seduction03/08/24 09:31 PM

There are a million reasons she could have for rejecting you, OP. And only a few of them might have anything to do with you. But, simple rule of thumb is this - if it isn’t an enthusiastic ‘yes’? Consider it a ‘no’. NEVER chase after someone who doesn’t want to be caught. Be willing to walk away. Even if it means you’re lonely for awhile. Build yourself a reality where you’re the one people pursue. And the best way to do so is to set boundaries with those who won’t.

Guys get fed a bill of goods about how earnestness and devotion will win a girls heart. In truth, that pushes most women - young women especially - away.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/24 04:05 PM

You do have a point. Young men today face a world where they’re constantly mildly discriminated against just because of their gender. And blamed for human history they were not here for. I think real life means that people will still find a way to find mates, live in long term relationships, just as they’ve always done. But, it’s definitely a lot harder for young men (especially in western countries). And it isn’t just sex. It’s access to resources, to jobs that pay enough to live on, the abilit…

Because you’re just so hot you have to fight horny men off all the time? I’m sorry, but I think most guys are kind, decent and respectful. If you’re getting unsolicited d pics then maybe you should check the places you’re posting. I think the way you’re trying to portray men is the weird thing, here. At the very least it isn’t very accurate. The vast majority of men are kind, down to earth and decent. And I’m wary of anyone who makes all men out to be somehow inherently evil, sorry.

I think platonic love is every bit as conditional. Most women have a very different idea of ‘friendship’ than men, and this is where things get difficult. For women, ‘friendship’ with men always seems to mean ‘getting all the benefits of being a girlfriend without having to do girlfriend things’. For men? It means ‘have my back, no matter what. Always be willing to help one another’. And, of course, women tend to NOT have a man’s back, or want to help him if it’s difficult. Men often end up bein…

I think your version of ‘scared’ is more trying to feel morally superior. There’s very little chance any man will ‘overstep your boundaries’, let alone do you any sort of harm; that’s pretty much a Reddit tale. The vast majority of men are decent and considerate, no matter what a pack of fringe nazi-feminists try to make everyone believe. You’re free to see who you want. Yeah. This I will admit, women will be sub-clinically hostile toward men who don’t meet the minimum good looks threshold. And not just ‘some’ women - every single one, even your own mother.

Have to agree. And it can be a harsh lesson for any guy to learn. But women can and do act very differently around handsome men than around average looking men. There’s also more that most men can do to fix all this. I know I’m going to get downvoted for saying it, but that old ‘get in the gym’ trope is pretty accurate. Women dig muscles, simple as that. I’ve had it work for me time and again. Just dressing better helps. How you conduct yourself helps, too. One of the best lessons I’ve ever lear…

Especially if you stop and think what would happen if men talked about women that way.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/24 02:03 PM

It pains me to agree with you, but yes. Guys need to be taught to have a memory about these things. I got a friend request from the pretty girl in my university class awhile back. Still very pretty. LinkedIn reads like she dated the boss, got promoted above where she should’ve been, and is now single again at a different company. Not today, Satan.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 06:26 PM

Usually you get ‘there was no spark!’ Google Translate: ‘He didn’t look like he had enough money for me to quit my job, move into his house and buy junk off Amazon all day’.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 12:58 PM

Men tend to settle later and stay in relationships longer than women. Women have children; they’re hardwired to be opportunistic. That’s why you see more attached women in your twenties. And, conversely, far more single women in their forties. By then, however, you do see an enormous increase in those women who didn’t manage to attract and hold that Prince Charming. And since having more children is out, they have nothing left to bargain with but sex. And that’s when you hear all the bitterness.…
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 12:56 PM

Yeah, well. That’s the thing many women don’t understand. They have to be a very desirable woman to have a very desirable man want to keep them. Just having a basic female body isn’t enough. Neither is having mediocre sex a few times and expecting to be set for life.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 12:47 PM

It really can be that way in your early/mid 20s. Girls seem really frantic to couple up and grab that ‘normal’ life. And they can be a little ruthless to any guy who either does t fit that scenario, or gets in the way. Just remember, many of those same girls suddenly give you a ‘Heyyyy, stranger!’ on Facebook when you’re both 38 and she’s still single/divorced/in her third career.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 10:52 AM

Ahuh. All she’d need to do is get new social media accounts and curate them even a little. Hardly ‘ruined’. She’s NOT some fallen woman from the Victorian era.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 01:42 AM

She’s still more valuable than 98% of men running her down in here. So, she IS good. And plenty will be willing to settle down when she wants that. I’d be willing to track her and lay actual money on that, too. OP was pretty accurate in outlining the reasons men will want her. And she has more to offer men than most have to offer her. Bet she’d be a great mom and a wonderful cook, too 😉
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 01:41 AM

Surprise has nothing to do with it. It’s those same ‘sexually conservative’ people - men, be honest - who just assume that any woman they wouldn’t have a shot with is somehow morally inferior to them. If and when she wants to settle down and be monogamous, OR any other mix she prefers? She’ll be able to do it easily, without a second thought. And have no shortage of good men willing to take her. Where plenty of men thinking themselves ‘better than that’ just won’t have any more options than if t…
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 01:37 AM

I wouldn’t moralize. This sub is also full of men who cry endlessly about not being able to find a human woman to spend their lives with. And this constant huffing about ‘Well! I wouldn’t want HER, anyway!’ gets old. What makes you think she’d want anyone in here? OP just outlined what makes her popular and attractive. She’s attracting good men, not just ‘simps’. And that’s pretty obvious. She’s worth it and plenty of men in here for get butt-hurt by reflex.

I think saying ‘everyone’ is a little bit of projecting.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 01:25 AM

That seems a little hypocritical. Better to take people as individuals.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 01:23 AM

Yeah, don’t be that certain. You talk as if she’s somehow tainted. Plenty of men out there willing to accept her as a person, and love her long term, I’m sure.

Likely. And in two weeks, no one will remember any of it.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 01:21 AM

I think men - and women, for that matter - are NOT a monolith. There are plenty of men (me included) that would prefer an experienced woman. The whole ‘n count’ business seems to be some weird, creepy baby boomer holdover, like ‘all porn is evil and harmful, run!’ Same thing with women who think men wanting sex - or women actually enjoying sex (Gasp! Clutch pearls!) are somehow shameful. Why would you be ‘mortified’ at a moment of internet fame over a simple meme???? PEOPLE need a healthier atti…

I seem to have more genes from my maternal grandmothers family; they all live past 100, and look abnormally young. My brother is six years younger than me her than me. Looks older. Takes after dad. At least I don’t look like the milkman 🤣🤣🤣

I didn’t look 20 until I was 30. And I took up bodybuilding after 30. Now? I think I do find it easier than most men my age to attract women and have options for sex than other men my age. But that’s because they peaked earlier and aged much faster. I often feel really out of place with people my own age. Not ready to start talking about bad backs or the medications I’m on. /r/PurplePillDebate24/07/24 04:55 AM

No worries. And friends ARE important. Definitely agree there. If you’re a halfway decent, kindhearted person, you tend to make those connections naturally. And if you remember that everyone else is human too, with the same need for connection to those around them, it makes living a lot easier.

Of course it’s highly subjective. Tbh, if you were a man saying things a lot of women post in these subs, you’d probably end up in prison. The whole ‘man vs bear’ thing is something I find creepy as hell. And I think many guys feel the same. But - try posting ‘woman vs snake’ in response, and you’d get attacked by hordes of women itching for a way to feel superior.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/24 04:31 AM

Seeing the spiteful comments by a lot of the women here? I wouldn’t want them within a hundred yards of me, let alone trying to hug me. JFC. If a man were to say some of the things to women that women are posting here about men they’d be in prison.

So, make it easy for them either way. Make them laugh. “Yeah, fair enough, I always feel like I’m too young for me, too. As long as you’re not actually holding a borat-style wedding sack when you introduce yourself, I think you’re fine. I think the manosphere types call it being ‘centered’ or ‘in frame’, but I always just saw it as poise ie being able to not be visibly unnerved by any of the thousand reactions a woman can show when you talk to her. The less impact a woman easily has on you, the more she’ll want to come to you.

You don’t need to have a relationship to have sex. Just hook up. Sex really ought to be classified as a human need. I think even now men are taught that simple recreational sex is some evil thing, while women are fine with just hooking up.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/24 05:02 PM
-1

Yup. I think the best thing we can teach men is that we’re. It just a resource to be exploited by women.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/24 12:50 PM
3

Women use sex to pay for relationships (whether they’re good relationships or just good-digging ones). Men use relationships to pay for sex. The system gets disrupted pretty fast as soon as men figure out they can just pay for the sex a lot more cheaply than having to provide a relationship - one that in our modern world is very often NOT to their net benefit. Paying for sex is like replacing cable with Netflix, tbh.

/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/24 12:18 PM

That actually makes some sense. Women compartmentalize. That’s why they get outraged so much when some guy they Friendzone finally gets fed up and tries to get a firm YES or NO out of them. Men just pulling out the wallet and paying a pretty girl for sex just disrupts the entire female infrastructure. Paying for sex a la carte suddenly makes dating Netflix - $15/month for everything instead of having to pay $300/month for a bunch of bad cable channels lol

I’m saying this: You gave away too much of yourself, way too soon. To a girl who clearly didn’t have feelings for you but was perfectly willing to use you for favors and attention. She was literally being condescending trying to make you feel better instead of just getting out of your car. And whether anyone admits it or not, or actively seeks it out? And maybe there’s a small percentage of men with eyes open. No expectations, and maybe cautiously optimistic about what they want in their lives. And perfectly willing to be alone if that doesn’t work out. I just had the best post-marriage date and two-day weekend ever. AND that includes a work social function where we both got welcomed by coworkers who clearly welcomed me over an ex I work with. From where I sit? Thats ‘success’.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/24 10:27 AM

Finding a good woman for a relationship isn’t hard. Even nowadays. And yes, we as men need companionship. Just sex gets old fast. What you need to do is unplug from social media, or at least OLD. What they WILL do is backstab, manipulate, gaslight and compete to be with you. That’s what ‘feminine energy’ is. And IMHO? Most women I’d want to be with would be a lot further ahead working out and being sweet.

We all fantasize about celebrities. Make no mistake - women fantasize about ppl right in front of t of them. Just like men.

I think the biggest mistake men make is assuming that every woman they talk to is the last one on earth. I’ve been circling one for weeks - and this past weekend, I could see she wanted to distance me because there was another trying to make herself my gf. So, I left her on read and spent this evening talking to two others - both of whom were at the same party as me Saturday night. Men just need to put women into play more.

That doesn’t mean you get to trumpet a tragedy that is certainly NOT the norm as a way to feel morally superior. Sorry.

I think you have a really good point. I’m less of a jerk to the women in my life somehow when I have abs. Can’t say it hasn’t made me cynical, and more prone to protect myself.

I think most guys can sympathize with you there. Women yak endlessly about the ‘ick’. If we EVER said that about women we’d all be worse than Hitler. But the fact is, women give us the ick more than men ever give it to women. And for good reason - if they aren’t looking to use men for money and emotional support, they’re looking got reject them as publicly as possible in order to boost themselves up the social hierarchy. To suggest to women that they actually have a duty in society these days, o…

It’s what women are conditioned to reply. Not a single female on planet earth will just come out and admit that their mating and relationships preferences are overwhelmingly based on looks and a set of physical metrics. Simple.

More like people tend to remember things that hurt them, and instinctively shy away from similar things going forward. In the time it takes you to start thinking everyone has some weird case of Stockholm Syndrome, you could maybe start going on actual dates, and gain a little perspective.

Of course it is. And it comes from BOTH genders. I’ve literally had people wanting to start fistfights because to them, their feelings are absolute truth. Try pointing out to OP that even if he doesn’t believe in gravity, falling off a tall building will still kill him.

Maybe it just boils down to agreeableness and sociability. We teach kids to play together because as adults, we’ve needed to work together to survive through 99.99% of human history. So it benefited us to make sure our kids grew into people that others can stand to be around. Now, we don’t need to cooperate as much. And maybe a lot of our societal problems stem from the simple fact we’ve taught three generations now that they don’t have to get along with one another, and can just be selfish. Wom…

This. There have been plenty of studies involving girls AND their mothers. And it turns out minimum level of attractiveness was consistently set a fair bit higher by mothers for their daughters than by the daughters for themselves. Moral of the story? Women’s judgement isn’t always perfect. And experience tends to sharpen their sense of trading-up.

I’d agree with you on all of it. Though I’m sure there’ll be people hollering ’incel!’ and downvoting you just because of the terminology. Women don’t have perfect judgement - they’ll often leave a good man for one they THINK is better, who turns out not to be. But big picture wise, of course they’re calculating and will always look to trade up. Anyone who’s safely made it past their teen years knows this. Women are built to have children. This means they’re hardwired for survival; if that wasn’…

Fair enough. What makes you think women and men experience love in the same manner? And if you’re an adult who’s past your teenage years, you likely realize that the ‘true love’ you seem to believe in is largely fake. Made up for tv and movies. I do think people - young men especially - get sold a bill of goods by Hollywood. You’re tap dancing around the real point, however. Those are things any man should have as a baseline. After that, THEN you can worry about true love. But men need to remember, their love and commitment are every bit as valuable (MORE, really) as any woman’s. And, remember this. If a man is attractive, in good shape, has a decent income? He’s MORE valuable than 90% of women. And should be dictating terms for any relationship.

Yeah, fair enough. There’s no shortage of horror stories out there about how unlikeable North American women are - especially those who have hit ‘the wall’. Blame our post-feminist, reality-tv and social media age. Ultimately, the whole thing does a huge disservice to EVERYONE.

Women don’t all have different tastes. They just get conditioned from childhood not to sound overtly shallow. Truth is, OP, your post just outlines how real life works. Looks, money, status. This cuts across cultural and generational lines.

/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/24 05:01 PM

I don’t know about any of that - but if a man is without female companionship for any length of time, people around him will inevitably start whispering about whether he’s gay.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/24 03:43 PM

That I can agree with. I’m late 40s, and I work hard to maintain visible abs. That immediately places me in the top 10% percentile for males. If the ‘red pill’ guys put the same energy into the gym as they do obsessing, they’d all be getting laid regularly.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/24 03:21 PM

Most of the time it’s the woman. She’ll take what she thinks is her best shot to trade-up, and stab her husband/mate to do so. And then, new guy dumps her. Men may have wandering eyes, but men tend to get comfortable in (what they think is) a stable relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/24 01:46 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/24 06:23 AM

I think that’s what women who get rejected by Chads call them lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/24 06:19 AM

They ALL say things like that. And then proceed to find the same things attractive. It’s how women work.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/24 06:13 AM

That’s my point - it’s NOT surprising. I’m also illustrating that EVERY woman will go out of her way to tell you ‘I’m different than all those other girls - I don’t find the same things attractive’ lol. Know how many say that to me on dates? EVERY.SINGLE. ONE.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/24 06:12 AM

In this case I think OP is married to her, though.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/24 05:59 AM

You had me at ‘European’ lol. Most North American men would benefit immensely from being with. European girl early on in their lives; and most North American women would get the same from being with a European man later on in life lol. Your attitudes toward sex are Renaissance-level compared to ours.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/24 05:57 AM
1

That’s so true. Girls are really good at attaching strings later.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/24 05:55 AM

That’s where men and women differ. Women need a reason to have sex; men just need a place. And the woman in shorts you stare at is perfectly capable of going YEARS without sex, until she finds the right situation, just bear that in mind.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/24 05:51 AM
2

Takes two to tango. I know plenty of women who’ve wrecked their own relationships again and again. And plenty who’ve ended up alone as a result.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/24 05:49 AM

I think OP’s wife seems to take him for granted. In your case that may be a lot different.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/24 05:42 AM
11

I think in OP’s case it may be something menopause-related. It does sound like she’s given him the ‘I’m not interested in sex anymore, that part of my life is over’ speech. That’s said? He’s got three (3) options: Try to arouse a woman who may need her hormones checked. All this is likely to lead to is resentment on both sides, though. Work on himself in an effort to be more attractive to his wife/mate. Most middle aged North American men could REALLY take better care of themselves; the internet…
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/24 05:37 AM

And yet study after study for decades, covering literally tens of thousands of women have shown that there’s a minimum level of basic physical attractiveness that women all hold. Below it, a man is furniture, or even a threat. Above it, women will begin to look at how rich the man is, and what his personality is like. There are lots of types of ‘attractive’. But there’s also a floor for attractiveness that’s common to ALL women. And, of course, not a one of ‘em will ever admit it.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/24 05:14 AM

I think after about 35, you do tend to see the ones whose triggers, baggage etc render them un-relationship-able.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/24 05:07 AM

I think it’s partly the need to have some tv-perfect life that women get sold, and partly the way they’re hardwired. Not having the dreamiest boyfriend/husband and the most glamorous life is seen as a moral failing for western women. And really, it’s other women who judge them. At the same time, we also teach girls in our society to be sweet and polite; this means they’re forever feeling the need to somehow not admit they’re shallow enough to prefer Henry Cavill to some doughy guy named….Henry. …

So play it like a game - one you have nothing to lose over. Tell her you want to date her. And use the word DATE. If she’s in, you take it to intimacy on date number one. If she’s out? Tell her she’s either your girl or she’s a stranger to you. And stop all contact.

/r/seduction29/05/24 04:20 AM

I think most of us are pretty aware you get a lot more interest. And there’s statistically speaking more chance of getting a good person with more replies.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 03:35 PM
-1

Women sure are not more agreeable than men. Not by any objective measure. And there are literally decades worth of studies confirming that. Women have zero need to be agreeable; men are the ones seeking mates. And women have children. They’re wired to NOT be agreeable, because settling poses a very real threat to Mother Natures one purpose for them (any of us, really) ie procreation.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 04:16 AM

The way women are now? The alpha male who gets them all likely has a pretty short life expectancy. Chimps will rip one of their own who they turn on apart w their bare hands. And human females are three orders of magnitude more sinister.

Agreeableness is a real, measurable commodity. Why else do we send kids to play groups, preschool and summer camps? It’s so we can socialize them well enough that other people will want to be around them. And with modern feminism, there seems to be essentially zero back-and-forth. Dating apps are a problem as well. There’s a huge demographic split between the Princess who’s watched enough tv to believe she deserves a Marie Antoinette lifestyle just for breathing, and the bitter middle aged woman…

I think either gender has a pretty bad experience with OLD. But you shouldn’t be surprised. At least you got replies, even if you had to sift through a lot of ‘wanna fuk?’ messages. The reality of it is that women can go a long time hiding those true colors. As long as circumstances favor them. But no woman will suffer for a man the way men routinely suffer and go without for women.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/24 02:49 AM
4

I am. All the time. It’s simple, really. I’m cute, fitter than 99% of men, stable, sweet and easy to talk to. I’m also wary of women. Because I’ve had my heart absolutely crushed enough times to realize that you’re relationship material to any woman on Planet Earth only as long as you have something they want. And not a second longer. There’s no ‘better or worse’ for women. That isn’t how they’re hardwired.

That isn’t true at all. How do think we know the name of the man who owned Spartacus? He was strictly middle class, yet the magistracy of Capua kept detailed records. Plus, John Hinds kept saying ‘the House of Batiatus!’ In such a thick Scots accent you can’t help but smile 😉
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 08:57 PM
2

Not true. People loved their kids in Ancient Rome, valued their friends, showed mercy to the poor and sick. We get things like Suetonius and the Historia Augusta, which pretty much tell the personal lives of the worst of the Imperial-Senatorial class, and that’s where we get all the ‘Caligula’ PR. There’s plenty of contemporary records of the common folk to counter that. Thankfully, literacy was surprisingly good in the Mediterranean world from the time of Alexander until the Middle Ages.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 08:04 PM

I don’t think there’s some global conspiracy to prove that nice guys are all secretly evil. lol that’s like thinking all those ‘Bert is evil’ muppet memes from years ago are real. But conversely, nice guys have zero business getting all butt-hurt when being nice doesn’t get them sex. I think that happens a lot more than men care to admit, and maybe women have some reason to be wary of the Nice Guy because of it. It’s also up to men to be willing to walk away from women if they aren’t interested.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 07:57 PM
5

That’s pretty much exactly the point I’m trying to get across. You can be decent, for the sake of being good a good human. But don’t ever think that’ll get you the girl. Or even a thank you.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 07:53 PM
3

Who can say. There were good and kind people in Ancient Sumeria. And Rome, even before Christianity. So, I do think people are naturally kind. Mostly. That said, societal pressures can move that needle a lot; if it didn’t we wouldn’t have had WWII.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 07:52 PM

Bingo. Turns out ‘nice guys’ often aren’t that nice.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 05:04 PM

You’re right. So is everyone else here. We ought to be good people simply for the innate good it does for our communities and our world. Just don’t start thinking you’re owed anything because you’re a ‘good person’. If anything, being a good person will cost you in the long run. And women often look down on decency - especially if they’re in the ‘horny’ part of their cycle. The alpha-male concept exists for a real, proven reason.

You’re learning. Your time on this earth is as valuable as any woman’s. And if they want your time, they ought to be willing to give their love and intimacy in return. Simple as that. Modern western society tends to spoil girls, and teach them that it’s a privilege just standing next to them. So, they never have reason to develop empathy for males. And tbh, they aren’t really wired to care about them (women have children; they’re selfish out of necessity). It’s up to is as men to safeguard our o…

The whole thing is idiotic. It’s like asking a man if he’s stopped beating his wife. There’s no right answer if you’re male. And that’s flat out bigotry. And, if we’re being objective? The one who SHOULD feel most threatened is the bear. It’s surrounded by hostile, shallow predators who destroy its habitat.

THIS. Well written….! We all know on some level that Reddit is the proverbial jerk-rag for those who don’t want to accept what’s right there in front of them. At least you’re laying it out plain as day. I agree with every word.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/24 12:01 AM

I think that gets amplified a lot on Reddit. Not exactly a great cross section of the real world. In reality, most people are generally kind and decent. lol AND not prone to posting a lot of one sided remarks online.

Nah. Please remember this - women are every single bit as capable of vile, manipulative and often violent behavior as men. Especially women in the modern western world - men are increasingly victims of a system that celebrates women’s priorities and penalizes men. I honestly do fear for my teenage son’s future. You really, really need to think hard about this. AND accept it. We COULD turn it around and reframe it as ‘woman vs rattlesnake on trail’. lol and every morally outraged Reddit female wo…

True. Very true. Women will make absolute fools Of themselves for the ‘handsome’ man, and trip over a dozen decent guys doing it. And the older I get, the more apprehensive I am with women. Not to mention more careful about which ones I allow to get close. The one thing not many guys mention is how they start to feel like a prop for a bunch of thirsty women eventually.

You can honestly lay a lot of that right at the feet of our society, which gives women this Princess mentality. The knock on effect is that there’s an awful lot of bitter, 50+ single women out there, who are going to die alone because they bought into the whole thing and found out the hard way they didn’t have a chair when the music stopped. And that’s on them.

Agree. What you’re saying makes a lot of sense; just looking around at everyday life proves that. Women are geared toward having babies. So they’re hardwired to make decisions that are best for their own immediate survival and stability. Simple as that. It’s why they expect men to audition to show them which can do that the best. And it’s why men are willing to put up with a lot of neuroses - because the return is being able to procreate. I suppose you can’t blame women for acting according to p…

I think it’s the way you talk that’s telling. You - like any woman - just assume without thinking about it that the man needs to come to you. And present what he has to offer. Courtship is different than maintaining a relationship. Don’t mix those two up. What we’re saying is you seem to be going ‘huh??’ when someone mentions you ought to put in some effort in dating, and work to present your best self as a female, instead of just sitting back and letting men audition for you. And trust me, EVER…

That’s essentially what she’s saying. AND saying it as if it were some deep, introspective thought. That’s the truth; women are first and foremost hardwired to optimize for their own immediate security and gain. They have CHILDREN. /r/PurplePillDebate03/05/24 10:24 AM

Maybe it behooves each of us to deal with our shit before we get into a relationship. I feel like women get a lot more leeway when it comes to that, though. Men just get told to ‘man up’ and that’s that.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/24 10:24 AM
4

True. Women don’t feel love in the same way men do. That’s a simple biological fact. And once a man realizes that? It makes interactions with women SO much clearer. AND saves a literal ocean of heartache. Women are biological entities geared toward having children. As such, they always move to ensure their own immediate security; the second you start whining about how your mother never hugged you enough, they’ll blank out and start looking for a more stable environment.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/24 10:18 AM
23

It’s fine to have insecurities. Neuroses, those are a different story. I feel like we forgive way too many neuroses in women, because we want to get close to them. If men started showing some of the triggers that are trendy with women these days? We’d get told to find therapy in about two seconds.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/24 10:04 AM
2

It’s also likely the vocal minority of passport bros. Do men who find stable relationships and a nurturing environment go and boast about it in online forums? The biggest mistake people make is believing that their actions don’t matter; and those who find quiet peace, stability and decency seldom advertise it.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/24 01:20 AM

A lot of western women are programmed to see men in general as toxic. The whole ‘sex tourist’ narrative just reinforces that. It does a huge disservice to women in other countries however. It paints them all as being unable to think or make any kind of moral decisions for themselves. Pretty much puts women everywhere outside North America under some sort of ‘white womens burden’.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/24 01:10 AM
2

That’s very true. I find that women from SE Asia in particular are more joyful. They tend to find happiness and peace in the moment, and with traditional relationships. Given the turmoil western countries find families thrust into, is that such a bad thing?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/24 01:07 AM

I think having a type covers a lot of ground. Sometimes a type is more a personality than a look; it could likely even be a pheromone. These things cut across traditional racial lines and body types.

Yes, it is. Why do you think OxyContin hit white North American males so hard?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/24 01:33 AM

There’s a reason white, western males clawed their way to ascendancy. Even though we’ve only been about 15% of earths human population. Maybe we need to drop the self imposed guilt trip and show why we won in the first place.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/24 01:31 AM

You’re learning. And it hurts me you have to do it this way. But - we learn that men are very strongly attacked in our society. And that the best attitude we can adopt now is ‘Hoka-Hey’. Today is a good day to die. White, western males have. Throughout history made up only only 15% of human population. And when we FINALLY claw our way to ascendency? We get guilted so badly it results in our destruction. Maybe it’s time to Sri the gloves and Start fighting for our futures for real again.

There’s where the real nature of women exists. Remember this - your mom is a woman. They can be INCREDIBLY supportive and nurturing. They can also be that bitch who tries to ruin you. I’m going to have to point out to you that sexual predators come in male AND female form. And it’s pretty common to see an older woman take advantage of a younger woman under the guise of ‘protecting her from those creepy men’. When women are sexual predators it’s almost always on younger girls; and I’d be instantly wary of any 40something I saw woman attaching herself to a 20 year old girl.

Who says what he’s doing is fucking anything up…? You actually think that the opinion of some random fellow human matters? Just because you for some odd reason don’t approve DOESNT make OP morally wrong somehow. In ANY way. Who says your sense of morality is right? 🤷‍♂️

Somehow I don’t think women are any more noble than men, on average. And for the man who wants to have his own fun - he really doesn’t need to care about whether some jealous women back home judge him positively OR negatively. He’s free to do as he wishes.

I think you’re missing the point entirely. Our genetic inheritance largely CANT be escaped. Jerks beget more jerks. I do place some stock in early childhood development; but the whole ‘phases of development’ model isn’t very accurate if you’re describing someone’s personality. We all go through developmental phases - we don’t all end up with the same personality.

I would t just pin all that on men. Everyone knows owe at least one abusive, manipulative woman who’s horrible for the man she’s with. We just tend to excuse bad behavior in women.

There’s a growing body of evidence in clinical psychology that shows we’re mostly hardwired when it comes to behavior; it’s one of the reasons why therapy can often be hit-and-miss for effectiveness. If you look at Jeff Bezos’ or Elon Musk’s parents, I’d bet money they weren’t very decent people either.

I think the twentieth century brought that about. Our modern age of comfort distances the need to be as severe in order to survive. The flip side to that, of course? If we ditch petroleum, we risk life becoming three orders of magnitude more dangerous in a heartbeat.

You’re essentially telling me ‘I’m not saying that. But…really I AM saying that’. I’m the one pointing out that you SHOULDNT take it too seriously. And as far as snakes go? The coral and king snake have nearly identical patterns and coloring. However, one will kill you dead. The other makes a good pet. I get it though. One could just say the whole look doesn’t reconcile well with your values and personal standards for attractiveness, and take a pass on the goth girl.

I’m not going to be all politically correct and say there’s absolutely not some level of connectedness between women with lots of tats/piercings and some increased level of sexuality. But one doesn’t cause the other. It’s probably a lot more accurate to say that those women with a higher level of openness and risk-taking to begin with are more likely to be sexually adventurous AND simultaneously open to body modification.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 12:05 AM

I don’t really see how you’d mistake a woman having a tattoo comes across as tacit approval for you to touch her. People get tattoos for a lot of reasons. Most of them personal. And thinking that having tattoos make them ‘loose women’ somehow is pretty harmful.

Fair enough. But a subreddit meant pretty much for men to vent about the absurdity of modern dating isn’t a very representative cross section. I could find you a dozen women-dominated subreddits with the same types of comments from the female side.

Fair enough. Guess you could say the same for the otherwise-pretty girl with too-small mall kiosk leggings and a host of SJW stuff she shouts everyone around her down with. Both just don’t fit. Wonder if the dress and values are part of the attractiveness in some measurable way? Maybe if you’re made to feel like your personal space is under attack you stop looking at physical attraction and instinctively shift into self protection mode.

Women are generally treated extremely well ie preferentially in western society. Here’s an example for you. If you reversed all of your comments and were a man talking about women that way? You’d likely have the moderators remove your posts and ban you. The fact is, women can and regularly do get away with bigoted, hateful rhetoric. And really, they shouldn’t.

Women are fickle. Tale as old as time. What men really need to remember is this. Women are literally a dime a dozen. Sorry, but that’s the truth. And, in our internet age, I think men need to go against their own hardwiring to be persistent, and start ditching girls who don’t perfectly suit them. Trust me guys, once you do that once or twice, the power it gives you will make you NEVER be lonely or heartbroken again.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/24 01:57 PM

Haven’t you figured it out yet? The point for women (and the whole ‘hierarchy-of-needs’ thing our society runs on) isn’t to just let men be rejected. They have to be SEEN to be rejected. If your nose isn’t rubbed in it publicly, they can’t reap the benefits of being higher up the societal ladder. God help you if you aren’t rich and pretty in our world.

You have to be the most insightful human I’ve come across since I’ve been on Reddit. Thank you for this post. It’s a little horse-has-left-the-barn for me, but I see with alarming clarity now that the woman I thought was the great love of my life is likely a soft-sociopath. Pretty sure the tiny minority of females on Reddit aren’t a good cross section of what what most women think. They’re usually bitter about failed relationships, angry at men to the point it’s a pathology, and eager to vent. Either that, or they’re young and buying into the whole spoiled-girl-calling-it-feminism trope they learned on TikTok. Men aren’t all wife beaters and rapists. Nor are they all just looking to use women for sex and then dump them. But in my short time on Reddit, I see women p…

There’s a cruel truth. I can count them in my text list. Seven, eight, nine. Some are fun. Some are just something I wish now I didn’t have to deal with. after they text me ‘Good morning!’ For the thousandth time in a month I genuinely do start disliking them. And yet the one I see almost daily broke my heart and I know that there’s no coming back from that. You’re right. We want who we want and they don’t always want you back.

Acknowledging that it does exist, without blaming the one forever getting rejected for not having ‘confidence’, ‘game’, or ‘timing’ is a good thing. If you believe, as I do, that EVERYONE deserves a stable, loving relationship, then you’re forced to confront the uncomfortable reality that there are a lot of decent guys who won’t. And maybe that’s a wrong done to them.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 08:01 PM

That attractive guy will sometimes get rejected. But it’ll be an order of magnitude LESS than the plain looking guy. That truly is fact. And for every woman who rejects him, his self worth is rebuilt by the several who will seek him out and actively pursue sex and intimacy with him. Women are definitely random and individualistic in their behaviors - but not THAT much.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/24 07:44 PM

Just my own experience. But then again, you don’t see me attacking strangers on Reddit if they don’t agree 100% with a bunch largely made up statistics lol. It really does sound like you hate men. Likely stemming g from your own bad experiences. Sorry that you ended up like that.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/24 02:26 PM

Sounds like your experiences haven’t been all that great; sorry to hear that. But sex is a two way street; and yes women can orgasm from penetration just fine. Like men, they need to be aroused. That takes a little time, patience, and compatibility. Simple as that.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/24 11:09 AM

I think women have longer arousal times than men. I’d be curious where you get (80%) can’t cum from penetration, however. It just needs to be coupled with a longer warm up period than men typically have. The flip side is women can stay aroused for a lot longer. Men need to recover (Mother Nature wired them this way, with a prolactin spike immediately following orgasm that kills erections). Doesn’t mean a guy can’t keep going with fingers and tongue, or even toys 🤷‍♂️ And once women are relaxed a…

I think you need to re read that. I didn’t get scammed by anyone. And OP has a point. Which I’m trying to point out. And no one’s ’blaming women’. Like I said, read it all again. Twice, if you need. Tbh it sounds like you’re so eager to look like you’re saying the right things that you don’t stop to sweat comprehension.

I think it’s the effectiveness of the whole ‘Game’ mumbo jumbo that’s an issue.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/24 07:51 PM

Very likely. Can you imagine how soul crushing it would be to be a young guy, being rejected and then deep diving into all the dating ‘coaching’ out there - only to find that NONE of it helped one bit? Especially since everyone out there with a pair of working eyes can see how the good looking have things just come to them effortlessly.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/24 07:49 PM
6

Yeah. There’s a basic threshold of attraction. After that, then she may notice your charisma. There are actually peer reviewed studies confirming this. One included the girls’ mothers as well - on average the moms tends to hold the bar even higher for minimum physical attractiveness where their daughters were concerned.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/24 07:45 PM
1

Kind of. You flirt. You do get to know one another. You don’t overdo it and act too needy. If she’s physically attracted to you she’ll encourage you (women always call it ‘chemistry’ and the PUA crowd tries to circumvent it by escalating’). Then you ask her out. And she’ll know it’s a real date if she’s interested. This is where a lot of guys misread the woman and she has to turn them down with the whole ‘just friends’ thing (though there are plenty of women who just lead men on for the ego boos…

Actually I think it’s a pretty mainstream observation. And yes, I’ve had a lifetime of women telling me this. The real irony is that you as a woman just shrug and accept that no one man will have every attribute you’d like. lol and that implies you think it’s ok to have more than one man around so you can have it all. Would you not flip out if you had a bf who decided you didn’t give him all the things he felt a perfect woman has, and then went and added another girlfriend to supply him with the…

THIS. Guys get wary of the whole dating scene for a good reason. You get hurt often enough, you naturally move to protect yourself from having it ever happen again.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/03/24 12:16 PM
7

Can’t say I agree with any of your rambling here. For most men, their dating problems aren’t ‘fear’. They are the cold hard fact that women they are interested in don’t find them physically attractive. Even if a guy is shy and awkward, if a woman is physically attracted to him, she’ll let know. AND initiate contact if need be. There’s no such thing as ‘timing’ or ‘confidence’. Those are words ugly guys use to make themselves feel better when they go weeks, months and years with no interest from …
/r/PurplePillDebate21/03/24 12:12 PM
1

I’m sure both the women who did it to me when I was at my lowest never thought twice about it. Women don’t love the same way men do. They’re built for survival, since they have children. And the second their survival instincts are challenged in any way, they can literally go from loving to hostile in the time it takes to make a cup of coffee. And I’ve watched each of them come back after I’ve gone no-contact for months. Acting exactly the same way. So now I’m wary.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/03/24 11:50 AM
1

Going forward however, the often rejected male wears his low self esteem on his sleeve. I do agree, though. The whole idea that ‘she turned you down for a date because you just didn’t approach her with enough self confidence!’ Or ‘you didn’t escalate and pick your timing right!’ Is just the less than handsome guy’s way to make himself feel better. Women know in a second whether they want to sleep with/date you. And if they’re attracted they’ll let you know even if you’re a little awkward.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/24 08:24 PM
1

It’s mostly looks. And the rejection that comes from not being model handsome can really destroy a man’s self esteem.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/24 04:39 PM
1

I think it’s a vicious circle. And in the internet age, if he’s not model-pretty that can really bring some damage to his self esteem. All it would take is one heavily made up Princess to turn her nose up at him.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/24 04:38 PM

There’s nothing more threatening to a young woman than a young man. And yet, young men are hardwired to belong. To mate, to build, to procreate. And increasingly we live in a society where a very small minority of non-contributing people dictate that this is somehow evil. The sad part is that you’d likely get into some serious trouble just approaching girls to try and talk.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/24 04:35 PM

Drive her home. Say thank you by text. Wait for her to reach out first. Then figure out if you want to mutually pursue things.
/r/seduction20/03/24 09:00 AM

I honestly don’t think there is a healthy way to ‘deal with rejection’. Rejection is perceived by the human body in exactly the same way as physical pain. Is there a healthy way to deal with being punched in the face? The thing we learn with experience is to not go back and get punched in the face again. And if we get punched in the face several times, we naturally feel a little wary of getting within arms reach.

There’s likely some truth in that. Since my marriage ended, I’ve found not one but two women I’d considered real LTR material pulled away from me. And pretty quickly and rudely. I pretty much dig a moat around my house, piled the furniture in front of the door and ghosted them both. For the past four months, I’ve have more (different) women seriously pursuing me, texting me for hookups and everything in between. Literally hovering around ten. And since I’ve been more than a little wounded, I’ve …

I sometimes think it’s because women are told from childhood to walk away from relationships that don’t explicitly benefit them continuously. Men aren’t taught things like that. AND are wired to be persistent in going after things they want. Which can be amazingly harmful to a man’s well-being. Of course, there are those males who deviously pretend to be friends with women in order to somehow weasel their way into an intimate relationship. I wouldn’t exactly call those last ones ‘men’ though. Cr…

It works for anyone. I hate calling people ‘high quality’ or ‘low quality’. If we’re born on Planet Earth, as far as I’m concerned we ALL deserve self respect and stable, loving relationships. Happy you leaned into improving you, and it paid off 😌
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/24 07:19 PM

No. But no man will marry a girl who won’t fuck. Sex is how women pay for relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/24 04:03 PM
2

There’s a two way street here. How many legions of middle aged women fill the internet bitterly ranting about how there are no good men out there? Men can’t control who they’re attacking to either. And it’s not their fault if they prefer younger, less-emotionally-crippled, and most of all sweeter females. And those women who are sliding into middle age alone can’t blame men for increasingly not wanting all their bullshit.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/24 01:19 PM
1

Mine are just as searchable. Millennials and Gen Z have closer knit circles with significantly less casual dating than their baby boomer parents. Also more likely to be married. Same data. I think you may just read things wrong. There’s a lot of often negative stereotypes about younger people. Like I said, I find it appalling. They’re no more or less lazy and unmotivated than previous generations either. AND have a lot tougher time economically.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/24 01:18 PM
1

Here’s where I’m a little confused. If it’s just casual sex, why not just join an actual sex site?? There are plenty out there. And I’ve never gone wanting in my entire adult life. I consider myself strictly a high average; maybe a little fitter than most men, but I wouldn’t call myself a ‘Chad’ (I despise that name lol). Maybe a lot of that frustration and resentment would dissipate if a lot of the single guys went that route. And knock on effect? They’d be exposed to actual conversations with …
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/24 01:10 PM

I think there’s plenty of resentment on both sides of that fence. Particularly on this sub. Maybe better to be alone and a little lonely than let people who don’t appreciate you make you bitter.

Most guys can do the painfully obvious. GET IN SHAPE. Look after themselves. Groom well. Shave every day 🤷‍♂️
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/24 01:05 PM
1

I’m not sure what you’re saying is 100% uniformly true. But you do have a point. And I’ve noticed since joining this subreddit, that it does get a lot edgier with male frustration at dating biology than the other dating-related subs. Better looking people DO have a pass on a lot of the soul crushing problems non attractive people face. That’s a fact. God help you if you’re not rich and pretty in our society.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/24 01:01 PM

Yeah, maybe. I’m amazed at the lengths people will go to in order to pretend looks don’t matter.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/24 12:48 PM

Yeah, data shows pretty much the opposite of what you just typed. And tbh? The amount of bigotry show toward young people is something I’ve always found appalling.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/24 12:46 PM

And yet they can go on tinder and get a date in ten minutes. You’re funny. And probably autistic? Judging from the instant hostility. Guess I haven’t even delved into the preponderance of emotional and psychological issues women have compared to men. Guess that’d be a point in your favor…😏
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/24 10:24 AM
1

Plenty of unfit and ugly women too. MORE than plenty. But the fit male has a measurable advantage. And there’s a lot of ways to improve ‘ugly’. None of this is all divinely-dictated. It isn’t an inescapable fate. But improving takes work, pain and sacrifice. And there are literally millions of people of BOTH sexes who’d rather suffer the pain of defeat daily and have their self worth destroyed than at least try.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/24 09:17 AM
1

Just wiki it. And men have always had to work more for relationships, intimacy, romance. That’s just how it goes. There are plenty of men out there who let themselves go, of course. But guaranteed they’ll be alone in this day and age, or have their mates leave them. Women? All they need to do is is pick up a dating app to get company.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/24 09:09 AM

That usually makes them bitter. And, of course, makes potential mates want to steer clear.

They’re taught to from childhood.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/24 06:42 AM
3

I don’t know about that. I think there are plenty of women out there who let themselves go and still sling around terms like ‘chemistry’, and ‘fate’. A lot of the time when men look after themselves, they get called vain. Remember the whole ‘metrosexual’ thing?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/24 06:40 AM
3

Maybe. But that’s at least an order of magnitude less than the same situation for men. Men just accept that they’ll spend stretches of their lifetimes completely alone. It’s why we have words like ‘Stoic’, and ‘the Strong, Silent Type’ to describe us.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/24 06:32 AM
1

I just think it’s easier for women to trade sex for emotional closeness. Even if it’s temporary. It’s been that way since the Dawn of Time.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/24 06:28 AM
1

Well said. Though I think many more millennials and Gen Z guys have learned it’s better to be a little lonely than to be miserable. And they tend to have more solid extended friendships groups.

I honestly think we’re seeing that now. Millennials and Gen Z statistically have less sex than their parents, and the ones between them and their parents’ generation. But, they also struggle more, form lasting friendships AND committed relationships more too. Almost like they’ve been forced to have better values because they’ve grown up knowing they can’t trust a thing they see on tv or the internet. And yet they get bashed all the time for valuing their lives more than some McJob.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/24 06:17 AM
1

I think they call that ‘social conditioning’. And maybe it’s something that’s been lost in the modern age. Being expected to follow certain rules as a member of society.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/24 06:08 AM
1

Like the Grindr example. I’ve always found gay men either heavily over-dwell on sex, or (usually older men) act like longtime colleagues lol. Tinder seems to cartoonize straight relationships in much the same way.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/24 06:05 AM
1

No, they have MORE trouble. Especially since ‘relationship’ to those women often means ‘meal ticket’. Contrary to every Rom-com ever made, the majority of men AREN’T stupid. More than ever, they aren’t willing to pay for that kind of human misery.

Unless you were lifelong friends, that’s probably for the best. And she’s either relieved because ‘let’s just be friends’ is her letting you down easy, or ‘let’s just be friends’ is her stringing you along because she likes the attention. Either way, we as guys need to protect our own wellbeing. Women get told that advice all the time, yet guys never do. They should be, though.

Hear you there. Mine works with me. And the other night sent me an add request on Snapchat after she’d added and ghosted me over and over. I found out she’d picked up a shift yesterday and would’ve been right next to me for 12 hours. I didn’t know and had to call in sick. So, crisis accidentally averted. But, she uses our workplace to try to force me to be her platonic bestie. Push, pull. I took a screenshot, said a quiet ‘Not Today, Satan’. And hit ignore.

You think looks inflation harms ordinary men? Just remember, fewer than one in five men have flat stomachs. Around one in twenty have actual visible abs. Do that and you won’t have to worry about the bulk of the competition. And the pain of earning that body has always been less to me than the pain of struggling being average.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/24 07:59 PM

I don’t know about ‘most’. But the pool of women who don’t land that underwear model, and the pool of average guys who just never seem to get a shot at happiness are both definitely growing. But, just remember that historically, only 40% of males have ever reproduced. I think the 20th century saw that number jump north of 50%; maybe now it’s just reverting to the mean.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/24 07:54 PM

I think you’re the one with the chip. AND projecting lmao. I read your incredibly misogynistic posts just fine; doesn’t mean I or any reasonable person needs to accept them. My apologies if your feelings are hurt, but I don’t think any decent person can get on board with your forced-marriage nonsense. It’s just awful, and incredibly demeaning to women everywhere.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/24 07:49 PM

We use social conventions to distort our animal instincts. But - they’re still there. Just turn off the volume on people, and watch what they actually do. Most of the time it’s two very different things. And the actions are closest to our real natures.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/24 07:46 PM
4

Not sure if I can get on board with everything you’re saying, but I do agree that men often put in way more work than women. Women just have to be willing to have sex. Men need to be worthwhile. That said, there ARE women out there who actually put effort into friendships. I do think they’re rarer than men, and the most common IS the female indulging in a man’s attention and calling it ‘friends’. I also think that a woman who friendzones you ISN’T going to set you up with her ‘hot friends’. She’…

/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/24 07:14 PM
1

My mother met my dad while he was visiting a friend in the hospital where she worked. If she didn’t think he was handsome she wouldn’t have said yes when he asked her out on a date. Think women don’t judge on looks? Women today are genetically exactly the same as they’ve been throughout history.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/24 07:13 PM
1

Those the same people who gush over the beautiful celebrities? Somehow it’s ok if you win the genetic lottery - but NOT if you use anabolic steroids and plastic surgery? I think maybe each of us owns their own body. And no one has the right to judge others if they want to change their bodies.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/24 07:10 PM
4

Actually we can explain quite a bit with science. But that’s the point I’m making. ALL of these interactions can be measured. We tell guys who keep getting friendzoned to get into the gym precisely because women respond unconsciously to a favorable waist-to-hip ratio, and select men with more muscle. As well, women respond more favorably to men with symmetrical faces. We live in an age of plastic surgery for just that reason. And frankly? What you call ‘chemistry’ quote literally IS. Women respo…

/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/24 06:03 PM

Humor me in return - because that sounds for all the world like arranged marriage or worse, forced marriage. And even in arranged marriages ie India the girl is presented with her choice of candidates. What you’re advocating for sounds like rape. Thankfully for the rest of us, that’s been the exception rather than the norm throughout human history.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/24 05:51 PM

You really think they were friends before the woman was physically attracted? That’s virtually none of them.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/24 05:13 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/24 05:12 PM

Amen. Women make a joke and it’s cute and edgy. I make the same joke and I have to watch a half hour HR video 😏
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/24 01:25 PM

Sorry that happened to you. Women seem to get to be a lot more horrible to men than the other way round. And get given a pass, conscience wise.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/24 01:22 PM
3

True. Trouble is, lots of love struck guys just can’t admit they’ve been rejected, and do what they should. Namely, show some self respect and walk away.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/24 01:20 PM
0

Not a one. Though they’ll ALL tell you they’re different than other girls’.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/24 01:19 PM

That’s what women do to ease their conscience about getting hot for some jerk they may not even like.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/24 01:18 PM
1

Yeah. But, it’s a pretty crowded field. LOT of women out there competing for the same OF nickel.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/24 01:09 PM
1

🤷‍♂️I wasn’t around in 1880 so it’s tough to say. But I think people have been people forever. Maybe there was a lot more affairs between married people back in the day - after all, traditionally people haven’t really married their true love have they.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/24 01:09 PM
1

So - define ‘spark’. For that matter? Define ‘chemistry’. Is it some combination of looks and behavior that prompts a biochemical reaction in you? Because that’s what it sounds like you’re describing. Pheromones, maybe? And as a scientist? My first reaction is ‘maybe I could duplicate that and commercialize it!’ lol
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/24 01:06 PM
2

🤦🏻‍♂️looks matter. They can be upgraded.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/24 07:08 AM
1

Of course girls lie 🙄 Anyone with a pair of eyes can see that. But - the hackneyed advice is true. You CAN do things to make yourself attractive. Less than 15% of men have flat stomachs. Less than 5% have visible abs. EVERY woman will look at that. Broader shoulders too. So go lift. Take care of you. Use the energy you spend whining about how nobody loves you but your mother to improve. We live in an age of plastic surgery ffs. Go get a nose job. These things HELP.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/24 07:03 AM
1

Women are individuals. We all are. But there are white lines on that highway. And women have this little tendency to fib when it comes to that. That’s why they sometimes hate themselves for being attracted - often strongly - to guys they think of as ‘jerks’.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/24 07:00 AM
1

Maybe it’s best just to allow for women to be contradictory in nature. They all are. Even our mothers and grandmothers. They’ll tell you to ‘just be yourself and then gush over your best friend who’s taller and better looking than you. Sooner you accept that every woman on planet earth has a certain amount of hardwiring they have no choice but to follow, no matter WHAT they tell you, the easier navigating them is.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/24 06:57 AM
1

It’s mostly the looks youre into at that moment.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/24 06:52 AM

Don’t forget to add the plus-a-constant of ‘time of the month, my current mood and sense of self esteem at that particular moment’.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/24 06:51 AM

I love that meme. ‘When you’ve done something to make her mad and you begin the scientific method to figure out what it was’ 🤣🤣🤣
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/24 06:49 AM
1

Or it could just be that women aren’t all a single entity. And, like men, each one’s an individual who thinks something different is attractive 🤷‍♂️ Within a certain range of features, of course.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/24 06:48 AM
3

This. Women can be contradictory 🤷‍♂️ Turned on by a guy her head tells her she ought to hate. Happens.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/24 06:46 AM
2

I have to say, I do love your take on things. You’re a girl 😉 And tbh? You do illustrate that little self-deception every woman lives with. Hating themselves for being physically turned on - often hard - by guys they decide they DONT like. But, after three drinks how often have those girls end up making out with me in the back of my SUV? And muttering ‘that NEVER happened’ to me the next day or two? People are people. And we can’t always control what our bodies like 😉
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/24 06:44 AM
2

Gee, you’re expecting rational thinking from a woman? Could be she’s saying ‘Huh. He’s not THAT good looking’. When she’s really saying ‘He’s a jerk and I hate myself for it but he makes me horny!’ Lol
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/24 06:38 AM
2

There’s where the waters get a little muddy, right? Women aren’t all a monolith. They’re attracted to different things. And there are many types of ‘handsome’. Maybe a lot of the frustrated guys here just need to craft a better version of themselves.

THIS. First thing an ex I had t seen in two years (and I broke her heart) said and did when I came to work with her is. ‘Fuck I MISSED your hard body!’ (I’m a bodybuilder). Then she pushed me against the wall of the storage room and kissed me for a solid minute. If THAT doesn’t encapsulate female hardwiring? I can’t teach the guys in here anything.

What if you like your pills crushed up and mixed with applesauce?

Nvrmind my question above. This will do perfectly. Even if no female will just come out and articulate it. And I think we both perfectly agree. OP needs to be better looking. Looks, good hair, muscle. Height if you’re lucky. Square law and symmetrical face - good often overlooked point. Those cut across any philosophical lines 🙋‍♂️

Define ‘chemistry’. I’d love to hear the female take 😌

Scroll up and read my comment - the one above the girl going on about ‘chemistry’ lol. Women compartmentalize. One guy for love/intimacy. One to change a flat tire. One for emotional support and listening to her mundane problems. And on and on. Women are all hardwired that way, because they have children and Mother Nature geared them for survival. Challenge their mental order, and they instantly feel threatened. And suddenly you’re a bad guy who’s just trying to get into their pants and they can…

I know I’ll get downvoted for saying this, but it’s really pretty obvious. Physical attraction. Simple. And I DEFINITELY will get downvoted for saying this, but no cis guy should EVER ask a cis girl the question you’re asking. You’ll get ‘Oh, chemistry!’ 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Sorry but every straight female on planet earth is the same that way. Just like every single one will tell you she’s ’not like other girls’. Anyhow. Women compartmentalize. And if you try to be something other than what they have you insti…

I think ‘friendship’ becomes a pejorative when it’s used to describe what a woman offers a man she’s rejected as some sort of consolation prize.

Yup. Guys fail to gain relationships because women do t think they’re good looking/stable enough. That simple. All this malarkey about ‘timing’ and ‘escalating’ is just a way to make those coming out on the losing end feel lees like taking a bath with the toaster. Life is a hierarchy. It’s a REALLY hard pill to swallow but that’s the truth. And God help you if you aren’t rich and attractive in our world.

Glad I could help ☺️ I am. And it helps everywhere. Especially if you’re over 40. Women do t even notice it but they’re programmed to respond to men with a good waist-to-hip ratio. I’ve seen that irl. Supplement up if you need to. Glutamine and Taurine make muscles look coupler during beach weather. There’re PEDs too depending on whether you want to go that route.

🤦🏻‍♂️Yeah, she was forced at gunpoint to reject your romantic advances. If a woman wants you, she’ll always let you know. I know hearing this hurts you - but this one DOESN’T. And even talking the way you are now makes you sound like a stalker, OP. Be the strong, silent type. Withdraw, and MOVE ON.

If you have a hard, smooth body with abs? You can say anything you want and women will message you. That’s a hard, cold truth, I know. But it cuts through all the bullshit.

You think too much. Women fuck when they think you’re worthwhile. Fuck as often as you can.

They don’t need to. In our society they can just move on to the next dick.

Amen. Turn down the volume, and people will always show you what they’re like.

Don’t blame them. Women are hardwired to be drawn to fit, muscular males. Of course they ALL lie about it. If you ask any woman? They’ll tell you the most important thing to them is ‘personality’ 😏 They literally hate themselves for instantly being drawn to hard bodies.

Tbh? ADD MUSCLE. It’ll hurt like nothing else in this life - but get in the gym. Use some ‘supplements’ if you need to. But the fact is, only about 20% of men have flat stomachs. Less than 10% of men have visible abs. Do that, and you automatically have women looking at you. They can’t help it, they’re hardwired to be drawn to fit, muscular males. Seems pretty obvious, right?

Just look at her earnestly. Say this: ‘Maybe. You really think so? To be honest, I’m just happy any woman says hello and doesn’t pepper-spray me…’
/r/seduction02/03/24 10:06 AM

“Can we reschedule please?” GHOST. If they’re genuine, they can come find you at the gym and apologize. You really need to stop letting so many bad people close to you.

Bit of both, probably. You need to move to former ground. Don’t be afraid to text this when a woman weasels out on you: ‘Hokay - back to the Loch with you, Nessie!’ And then you move on to the next.

And this surprises you? Women are built to look to survival. They have children - and that bit of hardwiring makes them different from men. Men are the emotional ones, despite what Hollywood tries to brainwash us into thinking.

Women DON’T work that way. If they’re her real friends, she’d never risk her relationships with them by pushing her rejects on them. She (might) recommend OP to someone she’s not close with. But, that girl would probably be wary.

He should just go on a sex site, get laid and just send her a pic. Then block her ass.
/r/seduction01/03/24 04:07 PM

That’s what you as a guy will learn to get used to as your life goes on. NOT knowing. That said, is she any more right in her decisions than you are???? Just because she’s rejected you, that doesn’t make you undesirable. It could just make her a flake. Make THAT true. Go out and bang the hell out of as many women as you can. And just sex can be REALLY therapeutic. Go on a sex site if you need to and get your mojo back. Practice talking dirty to women there. If you want to make her feel the same …

You actually think she’d set him up w a friend? That never happens irl.
/r/seduction01/03/24 03:54 PM
1

Yup. He needs to ignore her like the furniture she is at this point and move the fuck on. There are 8 billion ppl on planet earth. And roughly 58% of them are female. That makes them the more common, cheaper-by-the-pound species. Why is one actually worth a man making g himself less of a person?
/r/seduction01/03/24 03:52 PM

You just threatened her and she reacted by withdrawing from you as best she could. Just tell her you had been interested in dating - actually dating (use that word specifically) her. But, since you can see she’s not interested, you’re tapping out. Tell her you’ve never chased after women and never will. Then, say ‘take care of yourself’, and LEAVE. Don’t contact her again. She may get in touch with you down the road, and IF she does? Be coy. Otherwise learn to accept all this quick and move on.
/r/seduction01/03/24 03:44 PM

Just tell her you figure this dance between you has gone on long enough. Tell her if you hear from her again? It’s because she’s ready to fuck. Otherwise, there are other girls you can call. Then say goodbye.
/r/seduction01/03/24 03:36 PM

ALWAYS work on you first. You are no good to others if you aren’t the best version of yourself possible. Women will be drawn to that.

This. Well put.

Most girls know they wouldn’t have female friends for long if they pawned someone they obviously rejected on them. And yet there are literally a hundred upvotes for the ‘but but but…she can set you up with her hot friends!’ Posts every time. Almost like it’s easier for rejected guys to grasp straws that they may one day succeed and have that stellar love life, than accept pain and loneliness, and the self respect that brings.

She won’t set him up with her friends. That’s what simps always think. If she doesn’t want him, what makes you think she’d risk handing her sloppy seconds off to her friends?? People DON’’T work like that.
