Also you say this is the only argument but this is actually a whole category of counter examples. Man this is a ridiculous position. If The law applies to a situation, but people generally think it doesn’t, passing a new, more specific, clearer law is a GOODNESS. She made incredibly specific claims About being sexually assaulted by (I kid you not) a conservative radio host she knew in college, who was a 5th year senior, worked at the campus library and wore a purple cowboy hat, also his name was Barry, and she confirms that was his actual name (other individuals in her book were given pseudonyms).
