Thanks for the recommendation, I'll look into it.

Yeah. thanks for the tips.

Thanks.. so essentially attraction is created through nonverbals? Or do both talking and nonverbals have to be congruent?
/r/askTRP28/02/18 09:11 PM
1

Yes, will do. Thanks for the additions.

This was exactly what I was looking for.. thank you. This'll help greatly.

Think it could be that there are certain universally attractive traits. There can be calm and collected psychopathic criminals(Ted Bundy, mafia leaders) too, and loud outspoken leaders(Trump).

Really good insight... thanks

Thanks.. will go through that. Appreciate the advice.

Thank you, appreciate you taking the time out to reply. I'd read that already but I need a reread. How do you regulate you emotions/be in control all the time then? Would you say that with practice it is possible to be completely in charge of emotional expression?
/r/askTRP08/12/17 08:59 AM
1

Well, I wouldn't be on asktrp if I had full control. I'm practising it, but I was just asking about the why because I want to figure out exactly what it is that makes people think one guy is superior to the other based purely on his control of his emotions. Aren't emotions there for specific evolutionary purposes, including anger? Why then is it bad to show that emotion?

You mention being authentic(say exactly what you think in open obscene terms) for being happy(men are much happier) in your comment. Surely I didn't need to point that out.

I'm concerned with attaining success, but you're recommending chasing feelz. Thought you'd be the last person to do so. That's the problem with chasing feelz right.. they lead you away from reality.

Yeah, that's good in a general group sense. But looking around, successful people generally don't say whatever they want. They say targeted stuff or what people want to hear, why do they do that? Not just celebrities, even normal people with successful businesses of their own.

Good tip.. thanks.

So the dominance hierarchy is bullshit? You can say whatever you want to anyone as long as you're a fun confident guy?
/r/askTRP05/12/17 07:53 AM
1

Yeah. Is there something to be said about being mysterious - as in, directing conversation towards other people and giving short, vague answers when asked about myself? Should I do this all the time? My main goals are to get guys on my side, occupy a decent position in the dominance hierarchy etc. Usually its the guys who end up backstabbing you for pussy, I get decent interest from girls in the beginning due to looks, later on it would just get weird because I didn't know how to steer the conve…

Quite true. I only trust two guys, no one else. I've been burned by thirsty betas and some alphas too because they're competing for pussy. Even charismatic people resort to bitching covertly sometimes. Thanks.
/r/askTRP05/12/17 06:53 AM
1

Yeah, true. I just want to learn how to steer conversation towards topics that are more beneficial for me, instead of spilling out stupid shit that will have a detrimental effect.
/r/askTRP05/12/17 06:51 AM

Thanks for the advice, I will. The more I talk to people the more I learn they just want zero depth in the conversation or want to talk about themselves.

Do you even think before you type sometimes? You're a valuable contributor, but are you suggesting there's no need for learning how Machiavellians work, how to avoid them, how to learn to get people on your side etc? Why such solipsistic advice? I get that you're a big guy, and yes people may not pull petty shit with you. But at your station in life, most people don't need to. You're a gym instructor who's making people's lives better, but going about like this in a corporate environment/highly …

Are the doctors open to such suggestions? By modern standards you're within the normal range.

Thanks a ton for the advice, going to follow this. I tried changing too many things in the past at once and only made very slow progress as a result.

Thanks. So just some questions, a little bit of expanding on topics to make her talk more and then do as you say?
/r/askTRP31/10/17 07:15 AM

I asked because just a little bit of comfort is necessary for her to open her legs. I'm aware of Rollo's distinction between arousal and attraction and that we must aim for the former. I would fuck it up in the past, so wanted to know how to overcome that.

That is some amazing advice, great detail. I see its a moment-to-moment adjustment that you make, not like a series of one-offs. I wasn't dramatic about it, just pretended to be busy next time I saw her. I'll calibrate accordingly. Profuse thanks.

I've read the How to Get Laid Like a Warlord post and you're recommendation is similar. However I've also read that you should try escalating, if she's not responding, stop, she's not interested. As an example, there is a girl I had good chemistry with, as a test I just touched her arm while saying goodbye. However, she did not reciprocate then or in later meetings, talk normally still. That's what is confusing - whether to go the way Mike Haines recommends or the 2nd one. She is no oneitis, I j…

For example, I feel like I should reach a 315 lbs deadlift before I even think of approaching a girl. I know its ridiculous, but then logic doesn't apply to beliefs like these even if I try. There's a moment where you know the next move will build intimacy, I stop, involuntarily. Its just some weird form of hesitation.. and the girls ultimately get frustrated and leave or put me in the friend zone. Then I get confused because I don't know how to read their signals accurately(even though I watch …

The frame idea is damn good, thanks for taking the time out, really appreciate it.

She was, no exaggeration. Guys told my friends they would jerk off to her facebook pics. I'm not exaggerating, or pedestalizing her or whatever. She didn't wear skimpy clothing that much in her pics too.

Thanks, I appreciate you giving a detailed response. I get what you're saying. Actually, I asked this question in the context of social circle game. A lot of guys gossip, bitch, spread misinformation and exaggerate others' failings to get ahead when it comes to girls. I've actually had this happen to me and I've seen socially smooth people somehow avoid this fate. Problem in a social circle is that eventually people do get to know things about you, which is then misused(guys do it kill competiti…

Good tips, thanks. Taking away from this comment that I have to find out what works for me, internet reading won't help beyond a certain point.

How do I differentiate between girls who are genuinely low self esteem and those who pretend to be(because then you fall into provider territory if you comfort them)?
/r/askTRP05/10/17 09:20 PM

I've read both actually, but I'm just a beginner. Lifting etc.

Thanks for the detailed response. What do you mean about proper timing and maintaining an interesting frame? It is hard in the beginning with no abundance, any tips there?
/r/askTRP05/10/17 09:16 PM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
