Aborting a pregnancy isn't 'going to an extreme' though. Its the sensible thing to do if you don't want to be a parent. I read it as 'If men experienced pregnancy too they would realize how important being able to abort is'. Everyone who suffers spousal abuse should feel able to press charges but many do not feel able. To ignore the valid reasons why they don't is cold. I think it wouldn't gain much ground. Akin to how the word feminism can be immediately off-putting to men. Also I think claims of patriarchy are easier to make because historically that was the case in a lot of ways and even today the majority of positions of power are held by men. But for the people who do join up I'd say it would have a generally positive effect on both things.

Regarding your edit I think its worth noting that these posters don't include a "when she pops to the loo I don't spike her drink" one because the kind of men and women who do that are so beyond the pale that no ads will change their behavior. When I posted that I think I had the idea in my head that you thought women were innately less hard-working. Sorry, I drink too much. No link needed. Judges just pony out the law, and ATM it says that false rape claims aren't a crime, its not their fault, its our fault as a whole, we form the law. Anyway, I'm conflicted about this. They are largely against this kinda post, that makes me think that those of us who actually take the time to engage with posts don't feel its an issue, and tbh what SRS does isn't an issue, its just trolling. This post in no way makes this sub look like a place that fights the 'class war', it just makes it look like a place that mocks anyone who describes thems…

I found that just as offensive to girls tbh. It suggests that attractive women use blokes for material gain, offensive no? Basically the ad is saying "look how amazing our sandwiches are! They are so amazing that an unattractive man will leave an attractive woman just because she nicks them." Implying they are better than sex/relationships etc.

Another thing to consider is how many people take up a given sport. If most of the people who get into Darts, Fishing, Snooker, Motor-racing seriously are men then its not surprising that most of the top players are also men. Like how very few top-level soccer players are American but many are African, yet we have few African Motor-sport drivers.

Yeah. I can't help but feel that either the admins got scared and deleted all that shit or the mods did, but that doesn't account for mods only being able to private and not delete. :/ I dunno. If this PR fuck-up is anything to go by the admins don't have a clue. Oddly /r/Cshots/ is still up. This is such a mess.

My understanding was that the mod was doxxed and given an ultimatum, either he private it and ask for it to be banned or the doxxe went public. TBH what I read was probably BS, i dunno. This who thing just creates more heat than light :/

How can you claim a word that literally means "an ideology of or relating to females" be about gender EQUALITY? Blame history. Society changes faster than language. We still call those computers in our pockets 'phones' and we still call equality feminism. imho opinion both sides want the same thing and need to give a little and except a certain loss of identity. End of the day both sides want the same thing. That said this is just a cheesy ad.

From what I've read on some subs that are following this drama this isn't how it happened. /r/srd has some good catch-up posts but to tl;dr someone pm'd /u/creepercomforts (he was the creepshots mod, not pima) threaten to identify him and he shut the sub down. tl;dr this is very likely a troll.

I agree with you in principal, but I feel doing it like that might just end up creating an argument. OP wants to attend the course, it best to resolve the issue without creating bad blood, if possible. I'd suggest OP just finds out who is running the course and talks to them, tells them that he is into python would like to attend the class. See what they say, they might be cool with him coming along.
