Turning 40 in a couple weeks and this has been my experience as well. I've always been above-average attractive (not usually considered "hot", but at least "good looking") and have kept it together well as I aged. so it's not like more women are chasing me than before but certainly more like i have better better perspective and options. I have no patience for women my age still playing dipshit games and wanting to get chased like they did in their 20s and its always surprised Pikachu face when I…

Eh, I don't wish her any ill will. She's just struggling to deconflict 'what she actually wants in life' vs. 'what society expects her to be'. She wasn't awful to me, just frustrating as i tried to work with that and seperate words from actions. I save my ill will for people who actually fuck me over. She's not a bitch, more like an Uncle Rico holding on to the past. It's sad.

Sounds a lot like my ex-gf, except she's still decently attractive in the face for mid-40s so the easy O.L.D. casual sex thing is making the self-awareness even more difficult for her. She kept saying she's "the best thing that ever happened to me" and still doesn't comprehend why I disagreed and pulled the plug on it and walked. "But all these other guys want to fuck me!" Yeah well that's part of the problem, there's 25 years of that behind you and no motivation to be a good partner who puts in…

I was very close to flair-ing it Epihany Stage but there's zero self awareness.

Yes. One of my exes was a big over-sharer, uncomfortably so.

Edit: we text every day, not talk. For obvious reasons.

Voice. My baby mama is super cool and we get along great. She's like my long lost sister, we talk every day about everything. But I absolutely will never ever ever be with her because she has Fran Drescher voice.

I strongly concur. I've been saying this for years, and figured out in my early 20s that average-looking women are much better partners than gorgeous ones. I figure the hotties have so many men chasing them that they don't bother putting any effort in, but I could be wrong. Point is I'll choose a fun and cool 6 over a boring and spoiled 10 every single time...and go back for more after the refractory period ;)

Hot chicks are lazy starfish because they know they don't have to try, and humans are invariably lazy. Heed my words you'll have more fun with 6s and 7s than 9s and 10s.

Negative, my dudes. 30s are the best.

They are if he's smart and compares the cost of pne abortion to 21 years of child support.

It's average for my age and situation I guess. Starting at 16, married for 5 years from 28-33 (never cheated). A few 6-12 months relationships here and there (still no cheating). Some slutty phases juggling plates in my 20s and then again after the divorce. Now I'm too tired for that crap lol. N-count is pretty meaningless and mostly situational to life. Companionship is what matters. It doesn't matter how hot or good a lay someone is, time breaks us all down eventually and all you have is what'…

chef's kiss perfection I, and many other men, have been borderline (or outright) MGTOW for a long time for exactly what you're describing. It's not that we hate women or advocate for male superiority, it's that we're tired of being screwed over while expecting to nod along to how the patriarchy is bad and makes us so powerful.

"go to lawyers and ensure you do not have to pay child support by filing for that" Your perception of family law sounds suspiciously like a fantasy. Please explain to us how one does such a thing as you're describing.

You did. You just didn't answer them in the way she wants and she's sulking.

Nailed it. She hasn't been asking any questions anywhere, she's just trying to proselytize her beliefs. Yawn.

"What makes a porn user better relationship material than a non-user?" An open mind and willingness to explore new things. My gf enjoys things related to the sex industry (ex: when we traveled and went to an old cowboy town in the southwest she wanted to do the tour of the old red light district and see which shops used to be brothels). Watching porn while we go down on each other is hot for her (and me). Sorry to bust your men-are-pigs narrative but this post barely qualified as a sincere quest…

Dual-mating strategy AKA "alpha fucks, beta bucks" is absolutely a real thing. It's not the totality that TRP pushes it as, but it is definitely a common practice among many women. Recognizing it has helped me avoid those relationships and navigate to sincere ones.
