Typically you'll want to get the number mid-conversation (usually at its peak) and not at the end (unless the set went by so fast you didn't get a chance).

You make a good point. But how can I escalate if she's across from me? Obviously I would have sat next to her given the chance, but the place was very crowded, and I took the last available seat at the table.

Oh it's very real. I'm no PUA by any means, I'm just like a couple steps up from being an AFC. Anyone can do it just as easily as I did. A solid inner game is really all you need for a great foundation, everything afterwards is cake. Thanks for liking my FR, I think an added motivation was that I was on quite the dry spell (~4 months) hahaha.

But I'm chatting via my lap top, does it make a difference? Also, what is the advantage of calling her right after instead of not calling her? My phone game is really bad, so I try to avoid it whenever possible.
