Utilizing greater than 30% of your available credit (I’m thinking revolver accounts like credit cards, not installment loans) can severely damage your credit score. Keep your credit utilization under 30%, have very few inquiries (less than 2 per year), pay everything on time and don’t ever close accounts unless they start charging an annual fee or a loan is paid off. I found the owner's manual online. One chapter detailed how to use a sequence of keys to electronically lock/unlock the settings. It's a miracle. (For some perspective, of a 22-person team, 18 of my coworkers are women.) One time my lady-boss called in a technician to adjust the temperature. The technician left the thermostat unlocked. I noticed my coworkers adjusting it ten times a day. One would get hot, then another would get cold, etc. I locked it again a week later, they were so mad haha.
