If your given a bowl of skittles, maybe 1000, and you're told "995 of these are poisoned and will kill you. But 5 are normal skittles," are you going to eat the skittles? Age gap relationships are those skittles.

If you don't have the courage to leave yet, at least stop caring about his chores. Don't do them and don't care they aren't done. If he gets mad, ask him to show you how it should be done. Then compliment his work and thank him for taking that work load off you from now on.

Whenever someone critiques the way I do I chore I tell them it's their responsibility now, since they do it better, and walk away.

Sometimes people are simply incompatible. Neither of you is "wrong" but your views and expectations just don't align. Don't enter a relationship where either of you has to change your worldviews, it will only build resentment.

One of the key traits an HV person has is that they don't date if they are dealing with personal issues. HV can meet a person that is a good match, but not pursue them when they KNOW they can't be a good partner. If they are still connected years later after their growth and establishment is done and chose to pursue then it could work out.

I’m ashamed of myself A bad decision is not "yourself" in entirety. This is a moment of growth and part of it feels shitty, but you're a better person for realizing it's not right and ending it. There are women who do this for years with a guy just hoping one day he'll pick her. That's not you, and we're proud of you. Now, did you block&delete him yet?

Confront him about what? You know that FWB doesn't actually mean "friends" in any sense of the word. All those characteristics (he’s at the club trying to fuck other girls...he is ashamed/embarrassed of me) are definitions of FWB, which is why FDS is so against them. You deserve better. Block and delete.

Both of you are still growing and maturing (the brain grows until at least 25 years old). Getting married before then isn't advised because it's possible you will simply grow apart on fundamental world views (kids, finances, education, politics, etc). The FDS rules on marriage are for later in life, after education and establishment. Only you can say if a promise ring matters to you or not, and your opinion is the only one that matters on YOUR decision to have one or not. Promise rings, engageme…

They are collecting numbers to use later. These are 2 am "hey" boys. These are 6 months later "How's it going beautiful" boys. These are LVM who copy-paste the same text to 15 women every 15 minutes until a pick-me shows up at their door. It's a mass text numbers game. The solution is to not give out your snap or IG (or WhatsApp, kik, whatever else exists). Any guy who asks for those is looking for a hookup. Block & Delete/(unmatch).

I had the urge to go to a bar and drink last night. Instead I snuggled up with my dogs and put on a science channel and woke up rested with the same amount in my bank account. I went on a 5 mile run to reward myself for making better decisions. Level up, be the beautiful person you were born to be.

When you bring up "what do YOU want in this situation", they never really know what to answer I was this person before FDS. I still struggle to identify my wants far too often because growing up and in my relationships I was not allowed to have my own wants. It is why I placed too much need to being in a relationship. Every day is a challenge to be decisive and I know it's because my pickme mother chose a forever boyfriend who raises me to made sure I hated myself enough to be valuable to a man.…

That video is a follow up. Last week they had court and he was at the victims house. I'll find the video but it's terrifying. The DA (?) called out that she felt he was at her house and called the cops to check on her. Low and behold he was in fact threatening her for the court hearing. I hate to break it to you, but Disney isn't great for women either. As a Beauty and the Beast style marriage survivor, the abuse nearly killed me. This comment hit me deep because I was in the same spot. I asked my ex to say he loved me because I felt so alone and he refused, left me literally crying in the floor to play on his phone in bed. I'm glad he did because it was what I needed to get the strength to leave. I have never been happy and I never went back. Any boy who starts with Hey, [insert objectifying word like baby beautiful sexy smiles honey gorgeous] is an automatic block. He will pump&dump every girl he can. Any clever line is a block, he's copy-pasted it from r/tinder to 100 girls. "Hey" alone is lazy. He matches with everyone and throws it out line a fishing lure. Block I only replied to messages that were written for me specifically. "Good morning/ afternoon/ evening/ Monday" etc, as long as it's accurate to the time and day.

Thank you for saying this. I was in a traumatic abusive relationship and he had me CONVINCED I was the toxic one. I nearly killed myself trying to be a "decent human being" until one day I gave up and just decided to leave. 6 months of therapy later I finally, through fights and battles with myself, came to understand I was being dehumanized and abused for 9 years. I honestly mean this question - since this is a hospital situation, a husband has legal rights that boyfriends don't, right? Couldn't that very clear statement and distinction be for HIPPA or something? Or for next of kin decisions or rights? I feel like, in this case, it's an important legal clarification. Am I totally wrong in that???

FIRST OF ALL Any woman on FDS is a WINNER. You're a winner, I'm a winner, we're all winning. Second, I seeno negativity - only real shit reality. Actions of men should always be reviewed with an amount of skepticism and presumption of nefarious intent. That doubt until clearly proven otherwise is key. You're on point. I actually agree with you on my first thoughts being that he's doing it out of some selfish reasons, but I posted it because: A lot of men would have forced her to change. Unacceptable. It shows awareness that men leer. 3.*It's a man taking action against the perversions of other men. *

What he said about his ex is a form of VERY EFFECTIVE manipulation called "triangulation." He would talk to you about her and make you feel insecure then specifically tell you that you're making things up, which is text book gaslighting. The hot - cold /push - pull is also very effective manipulation. This is a bad man, a type of man I was married to for 9 years. It only gets worse. He crafted your emotions to bolster his ego. You have the right and ability to change your mind at ANY POINT. It could be today, it could be while you're naked in front of him, it can be after you start having sex. If you don't feel comfortable say, "I'm no longer comfortable, we are stopping." That is 100% morally, socially, legally acceptable. What red flags do you feel are silly? I had 2 relationships, back to back, 7 years and 9 years. I entered the dating world of 30s with no dating experience and I've had to learn all the red flags late. Honestly, every time I ignored a socially trained flag it came back and bit me. I have too much respect for people to hold on to a maybe, someday, backup. I know some people do but I don't want anyone to feel like they were my back up, or that I was theirs. If there is any romantic possibility its either a yes and we date, or a no and we cut off and move on. It wasn't a statement of greater or less blame, only that its not exclusively one sex. Ya know... I agree with having a clear and set line between friend and dating partner. If I was dating someone who said they want to "be friends first" I wouldn't continue dating either. Friends are platonic. Building a connection, companionship, and friendship before sex is different from being friends. Saying friendship as part of the relationship is different than just saying just "friends first."

Calling out poor behavior is a step to becoming better. They also call out women's behavior they don't approve of (pickmesha) pretty harshly. Sounds like the kind of man who was standing next to Sen Yoho when he called AOC a "fucking bitch" and did nothing. A man who is part of the problem by refusing to stand up to the men who violate women.

After reviewing the site I knew 5❗‼️‼️FIVE‼️‼️❗, women posted in my area. I reached out to friends and family. Only one girl knew she had been a victim. I haven't felt this low and disgusted in a while. Thank you for sharing this. Please let me know any tips on getting images removed so I can share it with the victims.

I don't get why men offer hikes. I tell them I love hiking with friends but there is no way I will go on one with a stranger. Then ask why they think that's a reasonable thing to offer and what woman would feel safe with that.
