1	That's too bad... If she divorced him after a short marriage, a judge could say it wasn’t long enough to split 50/50. 4	That's too bad... Fair enough, but let me see if you have the same opinion in another scenario. A wife dies and the husband was a wife-beater. Assuming this was a non-conviction case (no concrete proof he ever hit her) but she went to a lawyer a year before she died and amended her will so everything went to The American Cancer Society and $0 goes to her husband. 2	That's too bad... Old people can be victims of elder abuse. When you find out your father left his estate to you, your brother and the next door neighbor who moved in 2 months before he died, that’s a valid concern that he was tricked into giving away 1/3 of his fortune. –	Tried to pick up my Niece from school for my sister home with flu, did NOT go as planned. Are you upset because you were denied picking her up or because you think it was because you are a man? I don't think the policy is bad in an of itself (a note can easily be forged, ID fake, etc). However if they stopped you but would never stop a woman then that's discrimination plain and simple.
