My friend, reaching out for help is one of the most manly things you can do. It says to everyone "I will fight my demons!!!". Reach out, find a therapist, talk to someone. Then learn the skills, both mental and physical, to overcome this horrible and dark time. I believe in you. I believe that you are Strong and Courageous. You can do this.

Definitely get a prenuptial. Look, forgiving shit behavior isn't healthy at all. All it does is embolden the person who is being a piece of shit. There's a song by the band Whitechapel called Forgiveness Is Weakness that I always think about when stories like this. The genre of music may not be your cup of tea but the message should be. Do not forgive cheaters and abusers. Edit: The song I was talking about for those who are so inclined to listen. The genre is Deathcore so be ready for unclean v…

I’m a courthouse lawyer. The worst lawyers I know charge the highest hourly rates. They then use their ridiculously astronomical accumulated fee as a catastrophic threat against either their own client, or the opponent, or both. I don't doubt either of these things but based on the OPs post he is getting just trounced by a more aggressive lawyer.

Your lawyer is $300/hour (which is very cheap) and hers is $1200/hour. Her lawyer is better, pure and simple. I'm sorry but it's the harsh truth here. Her lawyer is tying you up with all kinds of things and costing you money left and right. If you don't mind me asking, why are yall getting a divorce?

Then you have some work to do. You can continue to believe in this outlandish bullshit which will result in you eventually losing contact with nearly everyone in your life OR you can recognize that you're addicted conspiracies that prey on you and work on building healthy relationships with your loved ones. Right now I have no doubt it's not just your relationship with your wife that is damaged but your family and real life physical friends (internet buddies on telegram don't count). Want to see…

I'm about 98% certain this is a troll post. In the 2% chance event it's not, let me tell you something my dude: the only people who respect crazy bull shit conspiracy theories about satanic popstars are other people who believe bullshit conspiracy theories about satanic popstars. The language you're using here is the standard "isn't it interesting that..." That is then followed by outlandish trash. You say you don't believe it, then that you believe some of it. Fact is, you do believe it all and…

Two book recommendations. Walking On Egshells by Paul T. Mason and Randi Kreger. Holy Fuck Navigate The Fuck Away From That Ball of Crazy Bitch by whendaysgoonforever. The second one I just wrote and only contains one sentence: Run as fast as you can.

My dude, I would rather smash my dick with a broken hammer covered in puffer fish venom than sleep with my ex again. Just don't do it.

This seems like a good place to start posting on an account I made just so I could freely talk about my divorce. My dude, I get it. Holy shit do I get it. I still talk to mine and it fuckin sucks because she is the person I'm most comfortable talking to. Not my parents, my friends or my therapists but her. Fuck it hurts to actually type that out. Look, the thing is that a part of you will always miss what you lost-the funny moments, inside jokes, shared looks and intimacy. But you need to also r…
