Why ex-wives act "fine" after a divorceThey act fine because they have a personality disorder. A lot of women do. They seem fine because they were never themselves during the marriage. It was all an act. During and after divorce, they need to manage their image, have a fragile sense of self, can't face vulnerability, use resentment as a way to process loss instead (like a child). You never knew the real them, because they don't know themselves and are deeply unhappy with themselves but can't look inwards becase they never learned how… | /r/Divorce_Men | 09/01/25 08:08 AM
The divorce subreddit is sickening!!!!Not being able to self-introspect and calling others narcissists are exactly the symptoms of narcissism. It’s called projection. From my experience, a lot of women are like this. It’s not that they consciously choose to avoid introspection - they simply don’t have the ability to do so. A lot of women lie to each other or just keep validating themselves, which prevents real self-reflection. You’re never really “checked.” No one gives it to you straight, so you end up developing a false sense of r… | /r/Divorce_Men | 06/01/25 09:58 PM
How do women keep guys in bad marriagesIt's not that they "think". They actually do get away with anything, and society mostly enables them | /r/Divorce_Men | 11/12/24 08:31 PM

Where I live it’s no-fault divorce so her actions didn’t matter during the process. During our marriage, she would constantly rewrite recent events, and make me question my own memory. It was quite unsettling and I had never experienced something like that before. Because of this, I started to keep evidence of things she said, her verbally abusing the kids, leaving home du… | /r/Divorce_Men | 11/12/24 08:31 AM |
Who else felt like they were forced to initiate the divorceIt sounds like you've been dealing with a lot over the years. You know my ex-wife said those exact words to me multiple times. "She's okay with never having sex again" and "she would never date or get married again". In my case, I found out that these were a form of emotional manipulation or a way to devalue me. They didn’t align with what I later discovered she was actually doing. In fact, at one point I realized she constantly did the exact opposite of what she says. | /r/Divorce_Men | 10/12/24 02:08 PM
