This. When (American) people say nice ___. What it really means hey I noticed you did ____. Utterly useless word really.

Basing your actions on what "you feel" like is overly simplistic and impractical. It denies any responsibility or higher purpose. It is a good recipe for an empty, meaningless and unsatisfying life, devoid of conscience. I doubt anyone wants to orient their life this way except for the most cynical, jaded nhilistists.

I think it is pretty clear with the words "has a boyfriend." Unless she misspoke, people don't usually use that term lightly. "Kinda" could mean anything really.

A person who thinks right or wrong do not exist is a psychopath and I doubt anyone would want their advice. Just because you can do something does not mean you should. Not all actions are oriented towards the good, many create more chaos and harm in the world.

Let's use his own set of values, relative or not. Clearly he had to ask and is having second thoughts about this. That feeling is created by the conscience. If he didn't have a conscience? Well, then he would be a psychopath. As long as you are not one, you have an idea of what is right and wrong; according to your own self even. It's easy to promote moral relativity on the internet, but I doubt you actually live as if this idea were true in real life or would want to live in a society where mor…

Where is the stupidity or hidden agenda in not being the one who starts an affair?
/r/seduction19/06/20 01:50 AM

For himself awaits potential drama and the guilt of being in an affair. Put yourself in the boyfriend's shoes. Not to mention, this is already a dead end for any kind of substantial relationship. What we do as individuals undeniably manifests within our society and our world as a whole. Our values change the way we view and interact with the world. If you act malevolently you really do create more malevolence in the world. It seems like some posters here have had bad experiences with women or ha…

Well that's a hell of a motto to live life with. It may seem logicial but it is fundamentally destructive and cynical at its core.

It does not absolve him from doing the right thing himself. Each participant is responsible. As Dostoevsky once said: if man has a conscience he will suffer for his mistakes.

Why waste your time and get your self into a mess? There are more attractive, single people on this planet than you could ever meet in your entire lifetime.

That's very sad. I understand why the dating world is full of so many bitter people.

I guess theoretically they could. But I think overall relationships offer better access to regular sex and I'd argue emotionally more fulfilling sex.

If they have good game they should have more access to sex within a relationship. Relationship sex is more regular anyway. Finding and attracting new partners takes considerably more time and effort.

That's true I guess women can also be heartless and cruel. Two wrongs don't make a right I say.

Women who are looking for alpha makes are toxic? Aren't they naturally what women gravitate towards?

I hear you. It's like an arms race. Everyone has to learn game to survive. Maybe a big part of the problem and the reason so many men are frustrated is the large gap in the number of men who actually have game and execute it well and those that don't? It's so unfortunate and tiring that men always have to use game, even when married.

sounds reasonable

i see. maybe its more important to see if its a pattern of behavior or a one off experience. i mean any girl is a slut for the right guy right?

what about when you get old and lonely?

That's true, but first time she's pulled something like this. She hasn't been put in her place in the past and I guess that's why I give her the benefit of the doubt. I've move more towards setting boundaries rather than vetting. But I agree it's important.

6 mo of knowing each other. Yeah I actually haven't given her full relationship status, just "dating" exclusively. But I have been thinking like an LTR which I realize is wrong.

Yeah I think demotion is inevitable with such behavior. If she does do that she should know there's no chance of going back for her ever. You reap what you sow.

Ah ok. So once the radio silence is up I can say that if she asks why I ignored her. Makes sense.

Won't she think that I'm retaliating? I think that's the only conclusion she will draw from the no contact. Doesn't that make me look butthurt?

Yeah I see.

Just thought maybe 1-2 days was enough no contact? Looks like you guys are suggesting more though.
/r/askTRP30/07/19 05:59 AM

Okay, why 5 days though? How do you decide how long? Never did this before. Kinda sucks for her she has a big exam coming up and she won't be able to study for days thinking about this. But I know it's necessary.

"She will also have...lived with one ex-partner and had four one night stands." "The biggest difference between men and women lies in the number of sexual partners - with men having ten in their lifetime, compared to an average of seven for women."

Well said. In grain it in your memory - one of the truest statements you will ever read! The only thing we should go by is a woman's actions, rather than her words.
