I think that patients on meds for the dual purpose of treating fibromyalgia & mood/depression are more likely to notice side effects when missing doses. It's a struggle to manage neuropathy and depression (either alone or together). Tough stuff to deal with, for sure.

I hear more concerns from people missing doses of cymbalta when they are on it for neuropathy (nerve pain) as opposed to mood/depression. But ive also heard a lot of stories from people using it for mood as well. It's definitely not uncommon to heard issues with missed meds in this class, but cymbalta and effexor seem to be the more common meds.

I've had plenty of patients on cymbalta that mention that they definitely notice when they miss a dose (or run out of their meds). Typically I hear it when they are on higher doses though. Effexor is another one that can cause side effects by missing a few doses. Both of these are SNRI's, and not SSRI's like you mentioned. But that's my two cents.

so.. any ruling she makes does matter because they pay for everything regardless? I'm not a legal-person, obviously.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
