This is good info. I had no clue. Thanks for sharing with us all.

What a selfish bastard. He couldn't even give you a massage? Ugh. I'm sure he expected the moon and stars from you though.

Sounds like me as a 19 year old with my boyfriend at the time (and first bf ever). Things started fine in the bedroom but then it got so bad. He would never get aroused with me or he'd ignore my advances giving varying excuses about why we weren't having sex. I finally got fed up with it and found out he was watching copious amounts of porn, and very specific porn at that. As a 19 y/o I couldn't imagine why he was with me if he watched specific ethnic porn. I felt like I couldn't compete. I'd cr…

Oh my goodness. That's terrible and so very sad.

Yeah, same. I'm sick and tired of dating men who have issues that arose or were exacerbated by porn usage. There are so few men who don't watch porn. I'm okaaaay with being single forever if I can't find a no porn minded man.

When I was in my early 20s I never equated the two, but now after being with enough porn addicts, yup. No thank you. I'm running away from that shit. I was also friends with a porn addict for many years, he'd get serious pain in his arm joints from jacking off to porn so much. It was really sad, but there was no way he'd take any advice to stop. We're not friends anymore.

When I reported my sexual assault the male cops asked how much I had to drink. When I told them, they did this whole shock and awe and wow that's more than I can drink, as they chuckled and laughed at their not funny joke with each other. It made me feel terrible. I already felt terrible. I didn't want to report either...I had to because I needed the morning after pill. There's a question on there asking if you need the pill due to a rape, I responded yes. They (pharmacist) had to report. I hate…

100% this! I once "dated" a guy who sent nudes of a woman he was sex chatting with (and seeing every so often, she lived in a different state) to his uncle! 🤢 (I didn't know there were other women in his life that were sending him nudes, thankfully I never sent him any of that🤢🤢🤢). I accidentally found the messages and vomited immediately after seeing them. I stopped seeing his sorry LV butt after that. Edit: I was just contemplating on this experience and realized this was 8 years ago, thankful…

Yeah, I totally understand what you mean. For most of my life I have had the inability to say no and it has dominated my life and has been detrimental in many ways. In the past couple of years that has started to shift. I started really learning how to enact boundaries so that I could be the best version of me for me. I found it incredibly difficult at first but the more I practiced saying no, the better I got at it. Sometimes I trip up, but I learn and move on. Anyway, the button makes me smile…

I don't think this is a remedy per se, just showing that ending up with yourself is perfectly fine if you choose it. Different things make different people happy and that is okay. No pressure for you to be like Enya.

That is one of my biggest pet peeves! Lineback away, I think I'll be joining you in on this one. Like, no, I WON'T walk on the street just so you and your posse can use the whole sidewalk. Entitlement is so unreal sometimes.

Geez, they're so insecure they need to go out of their way to message you? That's just gross

Thank you and yes, it did make me stronger. This happened over a decade ago, I was in my early twenties and had very strong pick me vibes going on. That relationship and a few others after that with more LVM have made me very picky. A lot of people tell me to not be so picky, but that's just led to heart ache in the past, so why repeat picking LVMs? It's just not worth it. I'll be praying he doesn't have any daughters tbh...

I had an ex boyfriend justify his cheating on me by saying that I had been with another man when I was sexually assaulted and so he could be with another woman. He cheated on me one week after I was sexually assaulted - I felt so terrible. I still had the bruises on my chest and back from the assault and he was off with another woman. Edit: a very good example of a LVM

This goes for bedsheets too. Washing them once/ week is expected. Doing so once a year is filthy. Ick

I'm embarrassed for them. How do you document living in this filth and not feel any shame? So gross. I can't help making a face at this seriously disgusting picture.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
