Excerpt is from a large, multi-threaded conversation from when the original Tim Hunt story came out. Those repeatedly railing against Hunt, sexism, patriarchy, etc. have mysteriously disappeared from related Facebook conversations (that I've seen) since the full story emerged.

I've looked at condition F. Can you explain how that means what you said in your OP, namely: Process for mom: Register the birth of the child in the hospital. Other than using your surname, no problem. There is even someone that can help you fill out the forms in the hospital. Process for dad: Ask mom for consent

Good on you, don't stop calling out this casual, acceptable, 'funny', gender-based violent extremism. I'm in the midst of a Facebook conversation right now with a woman who immediately and proudly talked of wanting to torture, kill, kick the balls off and cutting the penis off of a man who she considers is advocating rape, and also against others following such advice. To be fair, the guy seems like a religious loony in certain ways. I asked her if she has the same standards towards female rapis…
