Thanks! And yeah wanted to find more men-specific meetups and there’s just no way to input it to my interests, the way there is for women

All good! I should have clarified better

Username checks out. I was talking about the categories of interests.

It isn’t groups I’m looking at. It’s the “interests” that they provide, in order to recommend events

I keep seeing events where women are getting in free

Talk about it in text and then screenshot it for when you file a report. This isn’t a one time thing, if you let it slide it will continue and probably get worse.

Where did I shame anyone?

I think we are stuck at a sociopolitical impasse for the moment. Hence subs like this.

There’s no win either way for us.

I’m not brainwashed for my political choice being what it is. I have my reasons outside of me being a man and her being a woman to vote for her. You just made a lot of weird statements

Woman loses - women get more rampant about toxic masculinity Woman wins - men get seen as subservient

The problem that we don’t realize that it will only get worse for men when a woman does not win. I support Harris, but If you think the shaming exists now, just wait. 💀

I meant we as a collective. I’m not speaking from personal experience

Yeah but we are too socially awkward to receive it

No shade to OP but I wish we could collectively stop giving shit like this attention. Gender reveals, in my opinion, are a personal thing.

Thank you for using the word, instead of saying “had intercourse with”

That’s a broad brush. We have more than general rights, men have specific needs.

I just learned about this. It you don’t like the price don’t buy it and stop blaming your insecurities on a whole gender

I love exchanging ideas and learning from others, but it’s hard when others have starting seeing a certain demographic as irrelevant in conversation

I’m brown and suburban as well. And you’re right about the last part, I’m not one to concede but I don’t have that kind of energy

I am in college (more women and queer people than men) and I feel any time I speak up I’m pushed to the back of the discussion. It’s hard to prove but I bet some of you guys know what I’m talking about.

Don’t project your inward feelings outward. I bet you are important, and I also bet there’s no woman out there to whom you have to prove it to.

I had a job where we had lockers in the back. I was new at the job , and in my second or third shift I walked in to condoms taped over my locker, with a sign that said “sexual harassment is one of your benefits” A bunch of women at the job put it there. I stayed at that job for years only bc it paid the bills and I was too naive to understand the implications but now I’d never stand for it.

There’s an X factor, I agree. Although you won’t see a lot of women with a high level of self respect in these situations. If you date a criminal it doesn’t say much to who you think you deserve

Rhymes with honey And it’s coupled with a lack of self esteem. I’d argue that none of those relationships are deeper than a teaspoon

Understandable. People should be more wary of how they treat strangers

There’s nothing you can possibly provide to back this up.

Not to take away from your experience, but you can’t make a sweeping generalization on a specific group of me based on your own specific story. You’re using a lot of absolutes that should be challenged.

It’s gross and we all need to do better

Ok, so as a woman - in the most respectful way - what makes you feel like you know about men’s biggest obstacles enough to specify which type of men act a certain manner ?

I immediately stopped after addressing the both of them and didn’t give it anymore energy, aside from this post

Anyone who assaults anyone can be described as such. I don’t advocate for violence other than self defense

I have to stop using my brain to think for other people, because I wonder why her bf didn’t agree with me and tell her to knock that shit off

I was twice his size and she was twice my size. I have anger issues I’m working through so I don’t like to get pissed off. It kind of ruined the rest of the show for me
