It's normal , I've been dating a girl and yes I did feel so anxious on the first date that I was about to cancel , and I'm glad I didn't. The anxiety literally lasted for like 15 minutes on the date and I literally had the best first date in my entire life

I think that girls in general are not responsive , regardless whether she's a 10 , an 8 or even a 3 if that matters. It could be that your 9s are girls you somehow made eye contact with and who reciprocated well , or maybe those 9s aren't really 9s but just your type (they could on paper be your looksmatch or even girls less attractive than you), the universal 9 is like a model so again unless you're sean opry , you'd still have a better chance with your looksmatch

A 'friend' was whining about liking tall guys(6'3 and above), and I'm not tall, she eventually caught feelings for me , i rejected her cuz I already assumed she wouldn't be interested and lost feelings as a result , then she ended up liking a couple of guys and ALL OF THEM WERE SHORTER THAN ME . Moral of the story many girls would say things about type only to go for something else , so if yall are talking , you're probably her type

No matter how confident you are , how you get between them , etc if he's better than you , she will pick him . With that being said what I'd do is to just piss off if she's entertaining him since she obviously does think he's better than me. I'd either go approach other girls , or simply go home , I'd obviously not block her or whatsoever I'd just never talk to her again
