I use the 3 second rule, it basically states that after seeing you target, you have a total of three seconds before overthinking the approach. There are a lot of openers you can use, my go to opener is: Did you see the fight outside? Two girls were fighting. And then make up the rest of a BS story.

Yes I can. She does track and likes riding horses, but her teacher is pregnant so she has been really mean recently. She also likes FC Barcelona and sushi. The same thing happened to me, it’s not easy to get out of there, but there is one thing you can do: -Show those people that you are not the same weird guy that you were in the past. There is only one way you can do this, keep acting how you’re acting now, like your true self. Don’t try to be cooler, just keep doing what you’re doing and eventually they’ll forget. They will tease you sometimes with things you did in the past, but it doesn’t matter, because that not you anymore.
