Whoever asks the other out should pay for the first date. After that it should rotate. Yes men tend to ask more but still if you don't feel like paying you are always free to not ask or make the date low cost

I feel like that is looking at life very narrowly and just from a biological perspective. I think we've come far enough as a society that some those base instinct that brought us here over millions of can be ignored willingly without hurting you. Breating, eating, and drinking, and avoiding danger are pretty much the only instinct that matter now. Obviously as a whole humanity needs to reproduce to continue, but at the individual level having offspring isn't a need it's a want.

She was kidnapped and raised in a bunker for like 12 years when she was 15. So she sort of has the mindset of a teenager at times and can be very naive. So you are sort of right in that regard. The thing is it was portayed as her having the correct mindset in this instance. The last scene of the season (and series for that matter) was her talking with a little boy who liked her book and it ended on a very optimistic tone.
