for every 10 girls I saw ar the gym maybe 2 were even moderately working out. Hey don't judge me for being on my phone, I'm doing 2 minute rest periods!

Like do you really think you are so special that despite all of people in his/her past you would be the best of best they would settle for forever? The flip side of this is that if you're with someone with low n, wouldn't you wonder if they thought they'd missed out on by not being with a lot of people before settling down with you? I don't think that having a partner with higher n means a greater leap of faith. After all, they chose you for a reason. Maybe a high n partner feels so lucky to hav…

Most women can't handle being held to the same standards you hold men to simply because that's never happened to them in their life. Honestly not trying to attack you here, have you ever considered that "not being held to the same standards" is the inescapable flip side of "assumed to be more or less incapable of meeting those standards"? Ofc a culture that considers women to be little different from children-that-create-more-children is not going to hold them to the same functional standards as…

At that point of realism and accessibility I don't think you it would even specifically be marketed as a "sexbot" anymore. Yes, passing the Turing test makes this a whole different discussion. Ironically, to pass the Turing test a robot would have to have sexual preferences, going against the whole point of a ready and willing sexbot who acts exactly how their owner wants.

it is liable to become yet another post-sexual revolution contradiction in the underlining philosophy of our culture. This is the answer. The sexbot conversation would be extremely similar to the conversation prostitution, with the loudest voices being: The so-called sexually liberated would praise any new form of sexuality, coin a term like robosexual, add to leftist insanity, thereby alienating the general population and further fractioning the leftist base by implying that "robosexuality" and…

Nah, we're just very good at hiding this because that's how society trained us to appear strong and masculine and stoic without emotions because that's what "real man" should be like. But in reality, we are screaming internally. Huge props to you that you can admit this to yourself and pseudanonymously. Sexbots might slightly reduce the sexual torture of inceldom and general bad luck with women, but not the social or psychological aspect. They won't fulfill the desire to be desired. In the bigge…

I own a fleshlight and already feel like a pathetic loser. If women own vibrators/dildos this shouldn't have stigma, but me saying that won't change anything of course. Once you add a butt to it that you can hold onto, it's a different story.

Savage Love fans In the discussion of non-monogamy it's important to note that a much bigger percentage of the male gay community accept sexual non-monogamy. I think men in general are more able to have sex without catching feelings. In places like DC, so many male gay couples either routinely bring in another guy for three ways, or allow sex on the side. In the context of child rearing, what's most important is having two stable parents, role models/adults of both genders around, and protection…

I'm not reframing anything. This is the original meaning of the term.

The whole basis of the Madonna whore complex is that it's NOT a spectrum, so your point doesn't really stand. In the past a woman was literally only a wife or a prostitute. N of 1 or n of countless, angelic vs satanic, maternal vs sexual. Two options.

The problem with Evo psych is that a lot of it boils down to folk psychology, or theory-theory. And the problem with that is that your conclusion was decided before the discussion. "Common sense" includes a long history of completely disproven things. Scientific studies in psych aim to explain what, but it is very very hard to conclude why. And evo psych is entirely about the why. Any given evo psych statement is virtually impossible to "prove" without EXTENSIVE comparison across cultures and ev…

Yeah this happens all the time. We hear about the reverse more because men are the ones doing more of the dating people half their age.

It does in the eyes of the law in the form of elder protection laws. Adult children can take power of attorney in cases where they have lost cognitive function. And elder fraud is punished far more severely than regular fraud.

You have a good idea that is somewhat consistent with Romeo and Juliet laws. This type of thinking is why statutory rape is a thing until 21 in certain situations. I also think we need to differentiate between what is legal and what is disgusting and outcast-worthy. It's not illegal for a man/woman to date a child's mother and live with them from age two onwards and then have sex with them later in life. (Maybe it should be though.) It's not illegal to tell a homeless person in a chicago winter,…

Yeah it's RP brain talking. Women take better care of themselves physically, are more likely to have an education, are less likely to cheat, and are more selfless (based on a 2016 Yale meta-analysis).

Head on over to the Bible belt, my friend. You'll find tens of millions with madonna-whore concepts of women.

The problem isn't that different people value sex differently. The problem is that seeing sex as only a commodity is damaging and provides an incomplete picture.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/22 02:11 AM

Right there with you. Talking about the person you were replying to putting his own holes on a pedestal :) Get-to-know-me sex is a con. Nothing trashed my faith in male behavior as much as seeing men become totally different people after sex because I was no longer unknown territory.

"women knowingly and deliberately put up barriers to entry into their vaginas" Wonder if this guy puts up barriers to entry into his asshole or mouth. If so, why is he putting his asshole and mouth on a pedestal?

Anytime you talk about supply and demand for X you are commodifying that thing. There are practical applications to algorithm-ifying human behavior for study purposes, but RP takes it to dehumanizing extreme. Sex is "just" entry? A movie is "just" pixels and audio. Marriage doesn't "exist", nor any other concept. All the reductionism is really quite specious.

Which explains the 38% of women married to men who earn less than them, all the women who die for their children, and the fact that men are 7x more likely than women to abandon a spouse who has received a life threatening medical diagnosis. A woman sticking around to care for her dying husband with astronomical medical bills doesn't actually care for him. None of those really count as deep bonds.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
