Well I’m not sure what you’d consider to be the “patriarchy” but I’m referring to it’s classical definition, being that it’s a societal norm that men are in positions of power and women are excluded in the bases of their sex. Sorry but at least in the U.S. that’s simply not the case. It’s not a societal norm and women absolutely hold positions of power both in the public and private sectors. You cannot possibly argue that’s not the case? And I’m not sure where you get the idea that sexism to the…

This isn’t the 17th century. The patriarchy is dead. Does sexism exist? Yes. Is it so widespread that women in first world countries are oppressed? No.

I didn’t create the context. I responded to it. But I’ll have lots of fun in my bubble. God bless America homie.

Not getting a free ride on a bus does not equal not being taken seriously.

I never changed my argument. From the get go I was referencing a professional workplace. Where else would two guys be in suits and one be taken less seriously? Clearly you didn’t read all of my comments. I said professional workplace and coworkers before you responded to any of my comments.

Because none of the studies are relevant to my argument. And I know.

Read my previous responses. I’m talking about the U.S. It’s the only experience I have to draw from. Why would I argue about racism in a professional setting and use my own life experience as anecdotal evidence if I were talking about another country. And you’re right, professional setting was never said. It was implied. That’s what I’ve been referencing to. I said “coworker”. And you replied after I said that. You know I’m talking about a professional setting. If you didn’t know now you know. S…

No. First off this was done in Australia. Not even close to comparable to the U.S. in any way. Secondly, we were talking about a professional setting. A bus is not a professional setting.

Took it twice and got polar opposite results. First time strong preference for black over white people next one strong preference for white over black people. Not sure how to interpret that. Responded the same way and as fast as I could both times. Edit: “once” to “one”

I grew up in a racially and culturally diverse household/family. I think it’s easy for many to be tribal, like you said, it’s in our nature. But I was never around that so the idea of dividing everyone into groups is foreign to me.

Speak for yourself. I treat everyone on an individual level. Pretty bold to claim to know everyone’s thoughts.

I’m focusing on the suit because that is the example that was used. Otherwise I wouldn’t have said anything. Screaming racism where there’s no evidence takes away from legitimate instances of racism. I’m not nor have I ever claimed racism doesn’t exist. And yes there are still areas in the U.S. that are more racist than others. I grew up and live in the south. Edit: doesn’t exist

This article doesn’t mention anything about discrimination in a professional setting, specifically in regards to white men in suits being more respected than black men in suits. So stop. I said earlier I was specifically responding to the example used because it’s a shit example.

I’m only noting my race because in the past my opinion was disregarded because it was assumed I was white. But I do also hate when someone starts their comment with the “as a [insert]”. I should stop doing it preemptively though because it does seem silly. Edit: actually fuck you. I’ve never been to that sub and wtf. I don’t hate being black buddy.

Did they tell you this? And if it’s “some” then it’s a non-issue. You’re never going to get rid of the negative beliefs of the “some” in a world with 7B+ people. As long as it’s not “most”, we’re good.
/r/PussyPassDenied30/07/18 01:54 PM

The problem is, you’re basing this off of what exactly? Is there a study I’m not aware of that shows discrimination against black guys in suits not being taken seriously? So silly. I’m black and I’d like you to stay silent because you’re not saying anything productive. If this were happening on the daily we’d hear about it.
/r/PussyPassDenied30/07/18 01:52 PM

Okay but then you’re assuming most whites are racist, no? Otherwise that statement wouldn’t make any sense. I literally don’t know any black man including myself that has ever been taken less seriously than a white coworker in a professional setting. If you think that way, it might be more of a projection...

So you think you’re more respected/listened to than non whites also wearing suits? That sounds pretty racist ngl. I’m only picking this part out because you’re using it as an example of white privilege.

I hated when YouTube first changed the monetization rules because a lot of channels started trying to low key extend all of their videos as if people wouldn’t notice. And the content suffered because of it. But thankfully you are in the minority of content creators that respects their viewers and stays honest. So major respect from me man. As long as you’re making videos I’ll be watching my dude. Stay safe.

I highly doubt it’s fake. He started doing the 10 minute thing somewhat recently, which he openly shared he would be doing since YouTube changed that. He also said he’s telling us so we can stop watching when drone footage comes up because it’s him taking advantage of YouTube’s new setup and also trying his hand at using a drone to capture cool shit, usually it’s nature with some decent tunes. Point being, Ryan has been open about this from the beginning and is a legitimately good dude.

Yes, I agree, some people are dumb fucks.
/r/PussyPassDenied23/02/18 07:20 PM

Because I like people to know facts, especially when they’re shitting on a stranger for alleged inaction, even though Ryan did act on the situation. Not calling the police/pressing charges does not equal not doing anything which the original comment hinted to.
/r/PussyPassDenied23/02/18 07:12 PM

At this point I really don’t care. It’s semantics. The comment you all are shitting on has upvotes, so obviously enough people aren’t dumb fucks and can read and understand the point of my original comment.

the only way you stop cunts like her is make them pay and take responsibility for being a cunt This is also in the original comment my man. I get what you’re trying to say but what you seem to not understand is I’m simply stating a fact. The original commenter came off as being under the impression that nothing was done, I was offering relevant info in case some didn’t watch until the end.

Nor did I say it did.
/r/PussyPassDenied23/02/18 04:04 AM

I know that’s a rhetorical question but my intent was to show that Ryan did something about it. At the end he says he didn’t want to ruin her life.

Ok. That's why you've deleted some of your comments, huh? Because you were right? Seems legit. This conversation is going nowhere, now you're just being a nuisance. Later Mr. 4 associates degrees.

Lol. You've given no proof or stats. You said "google it". You don't even know what an associate of arts is, do you? Take your own advice, google it, it's not what you think it is.

No adult acts like you are acting. No less an adult with "4 associates degrees". Shame.

Lol. Visit r/iamverysmart when you get the chance, you'd fit right in. You're full of insults, but no facts. You've yet to provide any proof to me. You told me to google it, so then, how is it you've proven me wrong again? Shame.

I have my associates of arts and am currently finishing my bachelor's. It's funny how you resort to insults when you get called out on your bullshit. You're just another cop hater, stand in line. It's useless talking to you, since you're set in your thinking. Think whatever you want about me, I don't mind :)
/r/PussyPassDenied27/11/16 11:12 AM

Ah, the classic "google it". Bad news bud, I did, but nothing I found backs up anything you're saying. Nice try thooooo.
/r/PussyPassDenied27/11/16 10:18 AM

You've provided opinions backed by...wait...nothing? Not information, or sources on said information. Shocker.
/r/PussyPassDenied27/11/16 09:52 AM

Really? There's absolutely zero evidence that they "prefer" applicants with only a high school diploma. Do your research. Look up the education requirements for the larger departments in your area.
/r/PussyPassDenied27/11/16 08:47 AM
3

How is it besides the point?
/r/PussyPassDenied27/11/16 08:17 AM
3

False. Most departments have education requirements, as in, a minimum number of college credits. And with that, those are minimum requirements, and they will pass over you for someone with either better grades, a higher degree, or more credits.
/r/PussyPassDenied27/11/16 07:52 AM
2

That's cool. But anecdotal. Saying something like "no one", is an absolute. No group of people can be categorized with an absolute. You're being silly.
/r/PussyPassDenied27/11/16 07:41 AM
6

Haha yeah, kinda my point. I've been through several department's hiring process, I get passed over for people with either higher degrees, or better grades. I doubt it's common.
/r/PussyPassDenied27/11/16 12:20 AM

Not necessarily, people who don't care about the money and want to do the job for nobel reasons could want the job...
/r/PussyPassDenied27/11/16 12:19 AM
15

You must've not met many police officers.
/r/PussyPassDenied26/11/16 10:25 PM

That's a myth. Applicants are few and far between because of the demands of the job in relation to the pay.

Body-slam them instead. Sage advice.

Haha yeeeees. Then they must have realized they were recording, because then 5he passenger asks "dude do you have anything in here?" And the driver says "no", then they say "spray some cologne" haha!

C'mon that's not necessary. She's obviously a terrible person, but that's just too much man.
/r/PussyPassDenied12/09/16 04:37 AM

Depends on the type of KO. I've seen both. But it's her BS face as she going down that convinces me she's faking. It looks like an actress swooning/passing out in old movies. Plus she is leaning one way when she gets slapped, stays leaning that way, and then slowly leans the opposite direction. Neither of which would happen if she was knocked unconscious. Also she didn't even get slapped that hard.
/r/PussyPassDenied03/09/16 01:58 AM

Actually the old lady spit on someone outside of view. Looks like a dude based on the arm. The lady in the exercise gear was trying to hold the old lady back, that is, until she spit. And the old lady looked like she faked getting knocked out. It was a pretty delayed reaction if she really did.
