That applies to some but not all. Kids are, more often than not, Naturally mischievous. Take something away from a kid then it will just look for some other thing to keep itself busy. Eventually rendering your "punishment" useless. Its not like robbers, rapists, and killers will change their ways after being imprisoned. Again, I am saying this can be applied to some but not all. I understand why some people do not like to induce pain as a punishment, most likely this is due to some sort of abuse…
