Capitalist prison, has a nice ring to it. I honestly believe lack of character building labor is the reason why people do the things they do. If you have never really had to work for something then you don’t know the pain of losing it to someone. I can’t think of anything more painful than depleting my finite supply of time busting my ass(that goes for all of us that work for something that ultimately doesn’t pay off).

I can see where you’re coming from and I agree a bit. Jail should be HARD labor, character building programs, and more labor. Especially if you destroy/steal $X amount of something you should be forced to work to pay off whatever the amount was plus compensation. Like how loans work. The bank pays the victim upfront and the perpetrator has to pay back the bank in full to gain their freedom. If interest is added I guarantee fools would think twice and a third time about doing something so stupid.

When you do something wrong there are consequences. Maybe that girl was young and these older women gave her a whoopin so she would learn to not do it again.
