First off, congrats on the engagement!! Lots of solid advice here about getting your savings right first. I’ll just say I’ve done laser hair removal and honestly recommend checking out that subreddit. LaserAway runs 75% off deals pretty often. Full‑body was like $3.5k normally, but with the sale it came out closer to $900, and totally worth it imo. Also, my hair stylist swears by Nutrafol for hair thinning.

What makes me lean toward OP’s side is the timing. They found the condoms nearly six months after the breakup, which makes the claim that he was hiding them out of fear less convincing. If she’d found them right after the split, his explanation might hold up. But now, with OPs recent comment about him having his female coworker as his WhatsApp profile photo with him, it’s hard not to connect the dots and suspect they may have hooked up post-breakup. At this point, the only question that really m…

What we do know is he slept with someone else. The tricky part is that he only admitted it after you called him out about the condoms. First saying they weren’t his. That kind of delayed honesty is classic trickle truthing, which means the timing he gave (that it happened during the breakup) might not be the full story either. Can he actually prove it happened then? Because once someone starts hiding details, it’s hard to know where the truth really begins.

Who initiated the breakup? If it was you, it might not be fair to hold this against him. But if he was the one who ended things, it does raise questions if this behavior aligns with why he broke up in the first place. In general, what someone does after a breakup shouldn’t be judged too harshly. We all cope in our own ways, even if that pace feels too quick from the outside. That said, the fact that he was trying to hide it is concerning. If there’s any hope for rebuilding trust, honesty has to …

I honestly think the best way to vet someone for long-term potential is simply experiencing life with them in different situations. For traits like emotional control, keep in mind that in the beginning, many men will naturally put their best foot forward to make a good impression. Try observing how he handles small inconveniences—showing up late once or needing to reschedule a date can reveal how he reacts under pressure. Do activities together that you genuinely enjoy, especially ones that invo…

I’m 25F and have been with my boyfriend 26M for 7 years, and we talk about marriage and starting a family almost daily. Earlier, I saw a post from another girl around your age who was frustrated with online dating, and I get it—finding the right person can feel overwhelming. My advice? Try meeting someone in real life through circles of people you already know. I consider myself incredibly lucky to have met my boyfriend in high school, where my friends and family could help vet him for me. Onlin…

Hi wow thank you for your reply! It makes me so happy to see more curly girl method girls in this sub! I have wavy/curly hair about lower rib cage length and usually don’t style it because before now I straightened my hair everyday and it was damaged and now I’m growing it out! People used to say I looked like a lion and I used to think that was a bad thing! I also am maintaining my highlights and have not been able to get ahold of olaplex 3! So if anyone has suggestions on where that is availab…

Really not picky at all. He loves meats and cooked veggies. Probably more your average gym-goer. Not heavy weightlifting but does prefer healthier home-cooked options. If anything needs to be cooked on the grill or in the smoker I think he’ll be doing that. But I might be the one to marinate it overnight or something so ideas for that would be super helpful

Thanks so much for the reply! I definitely think slow cooking will be my friend. Being a full-time college student and part-time intern I don’t have a whole lot of extra time. As for spices I basically just have salt and pepper right now. I know I like garlic and onion powder and paprika but I’m just not sure what other kinds of staples there are? Thinking of going to publix and just raking the spice shelf to make a collection. Bf and I aren’t picky at all so I’m kinda just looking for a directi…

The red pill believes in gender norms and women have their place. Men take the lead and are the ones that propose. If that’s not what you wanted to hear then maybe you should post in r/relationships instead.

It seems like you’re not being honest with yourself about what you want. From what I’ve read, I gather that he said he didn’t want marriage and you thought you could live with that. You’ve been together a long time and it seems to be working out for you. You want this relationship, forever. That’s what marriage signifies, at least in my opinion. I’m still fairly new to the red pill ideology but I agree with the other people here that proposing is a bad idea. You’re free to do what you want, I’m …

As a child of divorced parents, I don’t think it’s fair to have that as a deal breaker. Im not my parents and their mistakes are not mine. I would be hurt to think that my SO thought less of me because of their actions. I’m a RPW and hold traditional values even though my parents don’t. With that said, “daddy issues” have a stereotype with them but it depends on the person. If a girls dad abused her or was simply not a good father, it’s not the girls fault and it shouldn’t be held against her. A…
