1) Don't be ashamed of anything, especially your own passions 2) Be deliberate, when you do something it should seem as though you ought to be doing it, whether you're talking, touching or kissing 3) Be open, you never know when you might enjoy something you didn't think you would or have an opportunity for an adventure

My two favorites are Would You Rather and Marry, Fuck, Kill. WYR requires that you be creative amd I find if your ridiculous, it helps with humor. A good template for WYR is to mix and match these sorts of things: A benefit contrasted by a deficit (Flight, but only when you sing songs you hate) Something tedious (taxes) Two very appealing things (million dollars or orgasms from chocolate) Two very unappealing things (stuck in traffic or roofing a house) Make sure to keep the topics light until y…

Piggybacking off of this, if you have any hobbies, find out where those are done in town. Rock Climbing, photography, beer (the greatest of all hobbies). Those are good places to start too.

I get this completely. I'm a naturally flirty person and I simply enjoy social interaction, even with strangers, especially if they're pretty. Personally, my way of solving this dilemma is to be non-monogamous. I know that's not an possibility for everyone. Lots of people aren't comfortable with it, but if you can pull it off, it'll allow you to keep that Hunting aspect that you seem to like while also having the stability of a caring relationship. Alternatively, keep the game up, just don't sea…

That's an unfortunate problem that exists in the current social dynamic. Men are expected to be the initiators and when they're not, it can put them off balance. I've read stories on here of where a guy was after a girl, she rejected him, another girl took interested and made a move and out of sheer confusion, he ejected the situation even though he wanted to get laid that night. It seems to me that PUA is about building attraction where there isn't necessarily any in the first place and that ca…

Maybe, but OP did ask for advice and I like things in list format. I don't think "Be Yourself" is good advice and telling someone to "Put themselves out there" is like telling a fat person to lose weight. They may want to, but they don't know how. Scripts are great, and "I would have done X" are fine too, but that's not him, that's you (universal you, not specific). Giving someone a framework or pattern that they can then fill in I find works best.

This response is why people neg: Usually when girls are mean I Get mad and defensive, which I think showcases insecurity. apologize seek pity. It damages someone's self confidence and the response to that is to prove to them that you're not that whatever that is. In this way they get attention from you and it puts you in a mindset to serve them. It can be effective but ethically I find it questionable. Two big things that I see in this encounter is that you let your Ego get wrapped up in her per…

Huh, oh. I'm fairly new to reddit and so I'm not entirely certain on the reddiquette. I replied to what seemed to be a micro thread within the topic. It is meant for OP though, so that's my fault if you thought it was for you. Are you particularly infamous on these boards?

This is a loaded interaction. Either she did want to control you in some way and that's why she asked you to do something for her, a sort of social dominance thing, or she just didn't know how to engage in a manner that would get her what she wanted. Contrary to popular belief, women can be super awkward and don't fully grasp the nuances of social interaction. This could have been her way, albeit poorly executed, of saying," Games are fun, let's play a game!" Your response makes sense, but there…

"Be yourself" doesn't feel like actionable advice to me. It doesn't give you any information about what to do or say, but I think even that is putting the cart before the horse. Here's my breakdown of what to do in another, similar encounter: Do a little mental prep to prop up your inner game (self confidence). Talk yourself up in your head, even if it sounds silly. Studies show that when people repeat affirming things to themselves, it does make them feel better. Second, know what you want. Why…
