You are right, I need to take comfort in that fact, and push aside those negative thoughts that tell me otherwise. I will check out those behavioral posts and see what I can improve on. Thank you so much for all of your advice!

Hehe, I will try that. Thank you!

What I think of as forgiving is not harboring any anger or resentment at him, and after his apology I don't feel any of that towards him. I suppose I misspoke, and I'm sorry for that. English is a weird language. We all just try to express out feeling and opinions within these words and it doesn't always come across correctly. Honestly, I'm just more inwardly hurt. It's a blow to the ego when something like this happens, because you have to question everything about your relationship, appearance…

I never reject sex, but he doesn't initiate it more. Someone else advised that I should make it more known (often) that I'm available to him whenever he wants, so I'm going to try that.

He doesn't come to me more than that for sex, but as someone else advised, I'm going to make it known, often, that I'm available. I never reject having sex, but maybe (subconsciously even) he doesn't feel welcome to more.

I'm sorry, I shouldn't have written this post in mobile, as that caused me to accidentally miss that question. Sex frequency is once a week. I'm sorry, I didn't express 'provider' bit well, so I totally understand why you took it that way but it there's more to providing than just income to me. Part of being a provider (to me) is also how to choose to spend it. If he made a million dollars for us but blew it away on anything, that's shake my confidence that he's a good provider. I never mentione…

Your advice was very insightful. I'm sure I don't express my availability well enough, so I'm going to work on that. Thank you. I'm just wanted to add that I'm not against porn, and I in no way want to control what my husband does as far as that goes. This was just more personal since it was real people that you chat with, and send flowers/gifts to. If it was just an image or video, I wouldn't think anything of it.

You are right, the past is done. He has repented and asked for a clean slate, so I will give him that. Thank you.

Thank you for the reply. Just knowing that I'm not the only one who'd consider this cheating (although there's definitely different degrees of it) is helpful for my mental state.

I want to repair our marriage and trust, and I think it's worth savings. We do not have children, but were planning to soon. Since posting this and talking to him further (using some of the insight you amazing people have given me), he has repented. He seems more serious this time, than when this first occurred. We are both committed to this marriage, and that's why I'll do anything to save it, that's within my power. He wants to have a clean slate and move on from here. I've expressed to him th…

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to skip that. I wrote this post on mobile, and honestly that was a mistake. The answer is weekly.

I think that could help, and I will try to think of it that way. Thank you very much for your advice.

Sorry, I'm going to take time to reply to these responses more thoroughly when I have time, but I just wanted to make it clear that this wasn't just paying a web girl for photos. This was sending flowers, and personalized gifts to women he would talk to. They are just random women that he built connections with, and weren't in the sex industry. I would completely agree with you if this was a professional sort of porn like arrangement but this was a personal one connection sort.

Nice to see someone else in the same boat. Even though everything is finalized in my case, it still is a real hardship to change my last name. We decided it's not that important to us right now, but I will change my last name when we have kids.

They'd lose their jobs and be shamed, if they publicly say anything.

Hey! I'm so glad to see that there's so many housewives on here without any children.

As a housewife and not a mother, I have gotten a lot of negative comments from women. They'll make snide remarks about the fact that I don't have kids and as such, can't possibly justify being a housewife. It seems to come from a place a jealousy and misunderstanding. They think housewives just sit at home and watch TV all day, instead of cleaning, budgeting, cooking, paying bills and numerous other things to help their husbands. That's not to mention the various other throngs I do to better mys…

Thank you for the encouragement. I'm not great at putting thought into words, and that's really why I never post anything. Hopefully I'll get better at that in the future. :)

Hey, I'm a long time lurker. My husband introduced me to the subreddit over a year ago. We've always been 'red pill' but didn't know it had a term or groups like this. Thank you for posting your experiences and advice. It's always very helpful, and comforting to read about people in similar situations.

ISTJ I don't have a problem with interracial relationships, though I do believe different races usually means different culture which can be really hard to get past. So although, I myself am married to a man of a different race, I don't think interracial dating is for everyone. It can take a lot of work and understanding. My husband is Chinese and I'm white. We've been married for 6 years, and sometimes it's been tough to understand each others culture. The thing that gets us through though, is …

Currently on a Lisa See reading binge right now. Shanghai Girls - is about two sisters escaping China during the Japanese invasion in the 30s, and how hey came to America. That's actually only half the book, the other half is about how one of the sisters ( Pearl ) lives life and how her past trauma effects it. Dream of Joy - is the Sequel to Shanghai Girls. At the end of Shanghai girls, Pearl's daughter runs away to Red China, right before the 'great leap forward'. Pearl goes after her. The stor…
