Found the intersectional feminist!

Did you let it slip that you don't hate men?
/r/MensRights01/04/19 09:21 PM

Probably because there's a significant overlap between feminists who want to lead companies and women who are socialists. Joking, but kind of not.

Only 22 downvotes?! Women have been getting downvoted for centuries by patriarchal karma farmers. This is privilege! /s

Haven't spent time in jail, but I was falsely accused and had to spend a few thousand dollars on a lawyer. I don't hate women but I do hate when people tell me that innocent men deserve to be punished for the patriarchy.

Get a lawyer and get the fuck out as soon as possible. Also keep meticulous records of absolutely everything so that she can't falsely accuse you of rape.

I'm 100% in favor of consent. But feminists seem to want to take all the meaning out of the word.

Meh, whatever. It's an ad designed to rouse people for engagement. They're so obviously trying to say that "women are better than men" to get a reaction that it's hard to take it seriously.

girls are more attracted to me. If you're anything like me, you only think girls are more attracted to you when you're drunk.

Any thoughts on how they are able to keep it this long? Yeah, alcohol masks the effects of many health and mental problems until they get so bad that they can't be masked any longer. Alcohol can mask heart problems, anxiety, depression, dental problems, malnutrition and more. But if you're masking a problem with alcohol, you become dependent on it. I bet you if Pat McNamara stopped drinking he'd have a really hard time. He needs it, even though it's damaging him at the same time.

The problem with seeing a psychologist is that the new APA guidelines for therapy with men are anti men. I suspected it when my last therapist started telling me that I should assume responsibility for the patriarchy and being complicit in the systemic oppression of women in a session where I was trying to find ways to cope with a false accusation that led to the loss of some close friendships. Where do I find these groups of positive women? I've had so many encounters with misandrist women late…

Some good advice in there. But if I'm honest, the things that make me angry aren't the things that happen on the internet. They're the things that happen IRL. The people harassing me for my race and gender aren't limited to the internet.

I had a gay guy tell me (a straight guy) that he likes straight men last week and it made me really uncomfortable. Not because I'm homophobic (I'm not), but because the way he said it made it sound like he doesn't care about consent.

I've been to rehab, and they definitely tell you that once you're a pickle you can't be a cucumber. It's sad how many people in there believed they were destined to relapse and have no hope.

He is saying that when women are giving you a shit test, and you don't know how to pass it, you can just change the topic to something else. In this case, the new mermaid emojis. And then you don't have to talk about the thing you don't want to talk about.

they tell you to go kill yourself when you've had genuine problems in your life with abuse etc.? That's fucking low even by feminist standards In my experience, they really do that though.

A single instance of being beta definitely hurts you, but it doesn't mean you automatically lose the game. Just focus on making as few mistakes as possible and being as consistently alpha as possible. Let go of the mistakes and move on.

I had a plate tell me she asked me to have sex with her because she figured I wanted it and that was the easiest way to get rid of me. If your goal is getting laid, it works. But don't flatter yourself. It's not an IOI.

The biggest IOI is always: she is still there. Uh, you were at her place. That ain't no IOI.

cut out toxicity. Give the benefit of the doubt and explain what you don’t like, remind them if done again, and progressively become more stern with those reminders, and when nothing is changing cut them out Excellent advice. Not just for TRP, but in general.

Tone down the hostility a notch. I'm just saying that it's a shame that only very partisan right leaning figures are the ones publicly saying this. It is something that public figures on the left should be saying as well, but they aren't for some reason. It's as if the left has completely forgotten what the term "liberal" means.

I hate that Melania is the one making these statements. This shouldn't be a partisan issue.

Exactly. I just had a woman who was a very close friend suddenly turn on me and start talking shit about me to my best friends saying that I was checking out and flirting with women and therefore a piece of shit. Totally destroyed my primary social circle. And the worst part of it all is that I wasn't even checking out the women in question. Russian roulette indeed. No woman is a completely safe person to trust.
/r/MensRights12/11/18 02:38 AM

I once apologized to some women who falsely accused me of checking them out (the horror!), and then they accused me of "demanding their attention" for apologizing.

No, dude. Don't bring fucking flowers. You've got this whole thing backward. You're putting her on a pedestal and bending over backward to please her. You need to flip the script. She should be putting you on a pedestal and bending over backward to please you. If she's not going to do that, you should leave her. Your entire fucking attitude right now is the problem. If you want some respect from her, you've got to command it, and you're not going to do that by groveling to her. You're going to d…

I understand that it was insecure and bitter, even passive aggressive This is why I say she should have broken up with you. It's not about the text. It's about your frame. The text is just a symptom of your posture in the relationship. So I should apologize to her again No, don't apologize. Just be better.
/r/askTRP30/10/18 06:55 PM

First off, your behavior reaks of insecurity. Fix that, because it's gonna keep getting you into these situations whether with her or your next girlfriend. From what you described, it doesn't sound like she broke up with you, but she should have. Your insecurity is pushing her away and honestly you probably aren't going to hang onto this relationship much longer. If I were you, I'd act as if your relationship is over. Don't go date other people right away, you need to work on yourself and your i…
