I'm tempted to swallow my pride and try crowd funding to fight for my children

Thank you, my current lawyer is good and he knows what he's doing but I feel like I need someone with fire and aggressive. These are my children I'm fighting for not just money. I reached out to them and scheduled an appointment, hopefully they can work with me on financials because I am wrecked completely. After the bills and alimony are paid I have 20$ to myself every month.

I appreciate that, I was so stunned when I heard the temporary verdict I couldn't hear anything or anyone. When I got home I cried harder than I have ever cried in my entire life. My children are everything to me and the reason for ever choice I make.

Would I be possible to try and have her pay any of my costs since I'm the one trying to be reasonable and work with her and she is making wild and outlandish demands.

Yeah, I feel you my lawyer doesn't exactly give me the warm and fuzzies for mediation but I also have to remember he has to manage my expectations as well. they can only do what they can do and mediation all they do is advise.

My ex is continuously telling the children, "daddy is leaving us", "it's just the three of us and we can never be apart", "when Daddy leaves I'm going to change your last name to mommies maiden name", "when you're not with Mommy I cry all night", and telling the children to tell me they don't want to stay the night with me when I have custody.

We haven't had an initial hearing yet, we had a mediation date set for last week but the pandemic put that on hold until God knows when

I moved out last year due to fears of false allegations, we have since sold the marital home. I am living with my parents until this is over so I can have witnesses at all times, especially when my children are over.

There has to be a way to protect myself legally, she already tried this shit before and got proven that it was false.

I figured that's the goal but there has to be a way to stop this shit.

Yeah, she's been insane from the beginning. I tried to make it an uncontested divorce but she said I could only have the kids a few days a month so I lawyered up. I don't have any firearms, I don't drink or smoke and I text or email everything and document the shot out of everything. I am just trying to get her to stop it at least calm her shit down.

It's actually at the point where I am specifically living with my parents so I can have witnesses at all times when my kids are with me because she's trying to make shit up

Oh as Soon as she said I'm not going to be able to give you custody I got a lawyer. But we still don't have a custody agreement and she's playing games.

I think what kills me the most, his I gave everything that she ever wanted and fully supported her and everything in every way but it never seemed enough. I made as many of the kids events as I could I took as much time off of work as I could to spend time with them when they were sick to take them to doctor's appointments I made sure I left work early to be there every night with them. but she's acting like I was never there and that I don't know my children and that I have no clue what I'm doi…

I'm sorry man, what's really been keeping me going is a Moto my last unit had when I was in the Marines. Embrace the suck! Basically the thought of that is that sometimes life and situations suck and instead of beating against things just embrace it

I'm sitting by myself next to a fire in the backyard. Family is out of town and the ex has my kids.

As much as I would like to avoid a drawn out court battle in the best interest of the children I am afraid this has no other course of action.

I don't want to get dirty, I may be scared but I won't compromise my morals. Plus there is no evidence of abuse on either side

I'm guessing because she won't say much about it

I'm in Florida, and there was no adultry or anything like that we just can't stand being with each other. We talked about going to marriage counseling but before I could even find someone she told me she wanted a divorce.everytime I bring up negotiations she tells me she'll just tell them I'm abusive to her and the kids, which I have never been, and that she has evidence even though there are no DFC or police reports. I'm visiting with an attorney today but have no clue how I'm going to pay for …

Her bests friends father is a lawyer. It seems like I am the only one who is thinking about the welfare of the kids.

I feel like I'm trapped into making this decision because I can't afford to pay for an attorney.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
