(no see you dont get it. your comment was as basic of a reversal as the classic "i know you are but what am i" school yard comeback. i used it to highlight that, but you took it as if i used it seriously and took that as an oppertunity for a burn. being that i was using it sarcastically, your burn didnt work. so you didnt continue making fun of me, you just made yourself look stupid. stop hitting yourself.)

I dont get how a person could rationalise that. That's deluded.

Could she mean that, in an ideal world, there'd never be any false rape allegations? So she may be saying that we ought to live in a world where actual rape victims dont even need to be held under scrutiny. If that's the case then even so, it's still pretty meaningless idealism. But I suppose it's better than what it's coming across as here.

Yeah fair enough mate. But I think it's just a case of people seeing their own youth as soecial, rather than being something specific of his generation. I grew up seeing young adults bang on about the 80s all the time, and now that I'm their age and can see how I view the late 90s and 00s, I get why they were so enthusiastic about it. So yeah my dude was probably embelishing a bit because of geriatric nostalgia.

I used to work with a dude who was there in the thick of the cultural revolution in the 60s. Even spent some time in California during the '69 acid wave. He'd tell me stories of his youth and he told me a bit about what he thought the whole thing meant to society. He said that his generation of young people were the first to really set that space between them and the adults. They were so profoundly different to their elders for the first time in recent history that it completely blew up the soci…

None. Just talk to her. Like a normal person. And then if you two gel well together, then you'll just keep talking. And it'll just flow naturally. Fact of the matter is, you cant train yourself to be seductive. You cant make yourself the man that the women who you want are after. That's just being false, and being false is always obvious and unattractive. I hate to say it but just be yoyrself. If you cant be the super smooth casanova then just be yourself, a normal person. Talk to her like a nor…

There are a hundred reasons why a woman wont make eye contact. Its not all to do with attraction. They all have individual personalities, their gender doesnt define them. Just dont think about it man. If a womans giving you "they eyes", youll know. If youre ever unsure, then she probably wasnt.

What? No! Lol. Dont put these assumptions on women. Just treat them like normal people lol.

Keep in mind people (including women) who also analyse their own eye contact usage. They may do it to be polite. I used to have worse social anxiety than I do now, so I would avoid eye contact like the plague. I figured out after a while that this made people think that I werent interested in what they had to say. So, to combat that, I maintain eye contact, in a way that I have learnt too forced, for the sake of being polite and showing general, not romantic, interest. Best thing to do with wome…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
