Why does it seem like many feminists celebrate the death of relationships?I wish your view was true. What I see around me is that women get at least parts of their needs met from a small subset of men and don't care about the others. Several female friends with a very liberal approach to sex are a good example. Sex inequalities in access to sex for men are higher than most world economy. If I remember right, 6% of men have 50% of total amount of hetero sexual partners over 5 years. This is much higher than for women. On the other side, more men have no sex partner ove… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 28/02/24 07:40 PM
Women preferring to stay single because they don't feel attracted to average men says a lot about their unrealistic expectationsI fully understand your point and kind of get it. But I don't see how a society that would exclude so many people from some quite fundamental needs could stay peaceful. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 28/02/24 04:05 PM
Why does it seem like many feminists celebrate the death of relationships?I agree with much of what you are saying, especially about community, sharing resources and educate kids... But I feel that going on this way means much men are put out of any type of dating/relationship/sex, which creates huge life inequalities. Maybe it is just a misconception but I have the feeling that the more open is sexuality, the more competitive it gets for men, and the more men are purely and simply left on their own on the side. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 28/02/24 03:58 PM
Gender misconceptionsI am unsure about that. I have a very good looking male friend. Watching this friends dating life is like something from another reality. Women do the first step, some approach him just for sex. He already did a threesome with 2 women he met an hour earlier in a bar Several of his female friends and colleagues slept with him, much more tried His longest dry spell was 2 weeks He had women accepting to hook-up with him when he said he didn't want commitment, whereas they clearly stated that they w… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 28/02/24 03:50 PM
Gender misconceptionsBut that isn't that false. There was a study done on campus in which a man and a woman asked people from the other gender if they were up to have sex. If I remember well most men (>95%) said yes. It probably depends on who is asking and context. But even my female friends going to clubs and wanting a hook-up were very rarely rejected. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 28/02/24 03:33 PM
Are bluePillers more fortunate and privileged than redPillers ?You can get better, certainly, but can you get good at it, that isn't sure. I ran all my life. But I have 30% less lung capacity than the average person, so I will never be good at running. I work-out, but despite years of lifting, I am not gaining mass. I dated some women, even had 2 relationships, I still don't get why this women liked me and why 99% of women do not. I went out several times per week between 20 and 26... I was socializing and talking to women... in this 6 years, I dated only o… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 28/02/24 03:27 PM
| – | I think before anything, The system of men chasing and women choosing needs to changeThat being said, I agree that despite all of this we should make the effort to be a bit more forward, communicate a bit more openly, approach occasionally. It's not going to change if we don't change it, so we have to start somewhere. Yes an effort is needed. In all my circle of male friends, only one was ever approached by women, and he is very good looking. I never received a compliment from a woman before being in a relationship (and even then, it could be rare)... Until I was 26, I believe s… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 28/02/24 03:09 PM |
