I was sensitive in my twenties. Got tired of being ran over, and decided I didn’t need or want to be around people who were not respectful to me. At this point I don’t tolerate BS from anyone. It was my choice to stop being sensitive.

I am sorry that you have been through such pain. There is nothing wrong with being sensitive. Criticism can be useful in helping a person learn/grow when it is used constructively. It doesn’t sound like your man is being constructive, it sounds like he has little or no regard for how you feel or what you need in the relationship. Name calling and badgering is immature. Him pinching you and slapping your butt or being rough during sex, without your approval is NOT ok. If this man cannot respect y…

For many years I pushed down my “gut feelings” because the person I was married to told me I was imagining things. Several years later, he was killed. I found out with undeniable proof on many accounts that my gut feelings were spot on. Women are blessed with a keen ability to feel when things aren’t right, ignoring this could make your life much harder.

Sounds like he is searching for validation. He may be feeling insecure. Maybe you could agree next time, then say, how about you....you gonna miss me? Then say , I thought so and wink at him or blow him a kiss!

Forgive yourself for making a decision you now regret. This does not change who you are or what you are worth. Value and love yourself, then realize nobody is perfect, we ALL make choices we regret at times. Sounds like you want to move on and put it behind you, do just that. Every time your mind goes back to that experience, change your thoughts to positive ones. One situation does NOT define you as a woman. The right man will love you for who you are and will not judge you on this.

Unless you are willing to tolerate these rather larger issues throughout your relationship, you may have to accept that you incompatible. It is ok for people to have differences in a relationship. These things you mention are major differences as far as I am concerned. Do you want to keep feeding a relationship that is not giving you what you want? Expecting another person to change for you is about the same as changing a Zebra’s stripes into Leopard Spots. I spent over 15 years of my life with …

It may be that your husband is depressed because he is not contributing to the household financially or from a housekeeping standpoint. If you are the sole breadwinner he absolutely should be doing the bulk of the housework. When you both are working you can both do chores. When a man has no set boundaries he sometimes feels useless. I think if you tell him you want him to do certain things and make a list he will comply, and will be glad to help. This will give you some time to de-stress. When …

Gut feelings don’t lie, trust those feeling and you will make the right decision every time. Sometimes we fall for the wrong person. Don’t sell yourself short, don’t settle for someone who takes you for granted. you must see your own self worth , don’t let someone try to treat you second best. I spent many years of my life with someone whom did the things your guy did. He only decided he wanted me after I told him I wanted to end it. Best decision I ever made. I am now married to my soul mate. T…

I use”allrecipes” my husband loves everything I make , most stuff is really simple. Betty Crocker has some good stuff, cooks.com does too. You can find recipes on the internet for just about anything you can imagine. One thing that helped me was to start out with simple recipes.

I am taking Emergen C. I just don’t want to be sick again like I was last year. I am sad because I expected my husband understand. He has scolded my daughter for similar circumstances, but this is different because it is his daughter.

We moved, this isn’t where she was raised. Yes, I would cancel if I was sick and planning to visit someone. It is not right to bring sickness to another home.

The hairdresser will likely be divorced soon. It’s not about the hairstyle it is about purposely causing anger and pretty much displaying a FU attitude. My husband loves my long hair, however he has told me he doesn’t care if I get my hair cut short. I would never purposely oppose his opinion just to spite him. I wouldn’t tolerate him acting like that toward me either. We respect each other and generally don’t play mind games.

Most of the insight the author shared was information gathered by interviews with men of various ages and walks of life. Having said that, I believe the author is trying to convey that you need to be yourself, have your own life; hobbies, interests, friends, etc. Don’t try to BE everything you perceive the man to want. Don’t knock yourself out proving yourself worthy of the guy. Don’t give yourself away (sex, cooking, etc) until you decide you like the person he is...his likes, dislikes, music, …

Read “Why Men Love Bitches” by Sherry Argov. It will give you plenty of insight on what most men are attracted to, and guess what.... it’s not necessarily looks.

I live way out in the country and work from home. I put on a little makeup and style my hair everyday. I workout and lift weights, I care about how I look. I also put on mud boots and do yard work, and look like a Tomboy when I am doing out door chores. You wouldn’t know it if you saw me out for dinner with my husband! My husband will tell you I am very much feminine in the ways that are important. I have never regarded the remarks from other’s about my femininity, I don’t really care what other…
