I think we may be. You interpreted what I was saying a more complex than I initially meant. I didn't really have grilling partners about finances, children etc in mind. Though some of those things can often come up in the first date or two given how polarizing they are as non starters for any sort of relationship if people differ in opinion.

I was going to say, all those hetero sex studies citing around a measly 65% completion is pretty brutal for straight women, you'd better at least get some cuddles.

It's kind of why I always scoff when I hear about guys obsessing over pornstar level penis size. I don't think they realize the reason so many of those girls are so glassy eyed is because of the pain meds they're on to make it through a 7-12 hr shoot.

We must be dating different people then. Maybe people play around in their 20s, but when you hit maybe 28-30+ no one in their right mind is going to waste time on games. They have a solid understanding of roughly who they are and what they want at least for the immediate future. They also don't need to play mind games to sus out a bad match. That stuff just comes out by having normal conversations.

It all really comes down to communication, for the amount of texting we do and how outspoken people are on social media we kind of suck at actually communicating what we want/need when in more intimate situations in person. I absolutely 100% think you are correct on there being a time limit on initial interest. NRE is a thing that tapers off after a little while, and people are so busy. You don't really want to waste your time on something that might not go somewhere or be interesting enough. Sp…

Alternatively rather than play games and woo people you can just cut to the chase and communicate your interest, either in something more or friendship if they aren't interested. No need to dance around subject. Just get it out of the way so you can either move on or move forward in some manner. You can even phrase it to be flirty without backing them into a corner conversationally. Often ive gotten dates or a new friend, sometimes they introduce me to their friends after that, and so on. It rea…

You phrase it like it's her fault for getting laid. Look at the other guys around you my dude. She can only put herself out there, its up to other people to accept, or vice versa. What I don't get is why you are worried about this in the first place at all. It really doesn't matter if women have more options. Really you should be focusing on yourself, your own personal growth, how to be a functional human being in a difficult world.

People in high stress, high intensity jobs, doctors(especially surgeons etc), seek out other sources to de-stress, which includes sex. Promiscuous people tend to be good at that, generally are fairly fun to be around, often extroverts. They can also probably afford that lifestyle as well. To be honest it seems like you have a very narrow view when it comes to sex in general. Not saying these people you mention are good/ethical. But its still worth noting. Again this whole situation comes down to…

Just like men women will approach if A, they're that invested in meeting you, and B, they feel safe or confident enough to do so. It's really not that complicated. Everyone is different, some will, some won't. Others will try to get your attention in less obvious ways. Society as it stands right now is pretty darn antisocial, so its no wonder few people really get asked out much anymore, given how much dating is online now. You need to think that people will 80% of the time take the path of leas…
