I think the more vocal voices drown out the more silent ones

Probably #1. I've noticed the same. Hinge is now the main app that works great for me.

A large percentage of population have HSV-1, probably almost unavoidable if you sleep with multiple people. Probably better to catch it on your mouth, so you get immunity from catching it on your genitals. You also get some antibody protection HHV-3 which becomes more common in older ages.

Can’t believe people are mentioning shoes, that’ll help by like 2 percent.

Get a Google Voice number, that can bypass the ban easily. I get that it can be tough, but I'm sure you can still up your response rate by having more interesting conversation starters if you got getting good matches. Picture photography to emphasize your better facial feature parts could probably still improved as well.

Yeah really because face isn’t everything, I’ve seen short non-white guys with an average face do decent with online. Can even link the post

No need to hire a photographer. The latest iPhone takes good enough pics, just ask a friend or a random to do it.

Hmm I think I’ve seen you before on one of those face obsessed forums

Just gain more muscle, that does a similar level of improvement with how plastic surgery improves your face. A model like haircut also puts more emphasis on the hair, and less on the face. There's also plastic surgery, but comes with risks of varying levels.

You see so many of them? They post their pictures? Well most of their solutions involve plastic surgery. It works too, but they put too much emphasize on it.

Not really, and I hope that doesn't happen. That means less people to be interested in

It’s fine honestly. Plenty of people of both genders get cosmetic procedures. Just don’t go overboard, that increases risk of being botched. I would just say figure out 1-2 procedures that would be most beneficial to you (bunch of surgeries out there that are unnecessary and not worth the risk), and just stick with that...

It's likely there's an even amount of above average and below average looking people there. Just like every other subreddit.

What’s stopping you from joining one? I don’t really have much advice other than continuing what you’re doing, because Greek life really does dominate the social scene in SEC colleges. Shit does really become almost irrelevant afterwards though.

First pic is not good, sunglasses and shadows covering pretty much your whole face.

Right now looks like main good part is that the background of the photo is blurred. What score did you get on Photofeeler? I've been there and know how you feel, but a lot of good advice given to you already. I got similar advice too, and made adjustments to boost my scores. My old photos I scored 3.5-5.5, but I was able to get a few new photos to bump up the score to 6.5-8.5 for F29< voters. My results on Tinder increased too, so just know there's definitely ways to improve.

Sorry man, it's okay to mourn over this. We're all human beings here. Just don't let this dwell over you for more than a few months, nothing else you can do about this anymore anyway.

Not sure about that tbh, I had a family member who had a Canon EOS something. Maybe other subs like r /photography or r /Cameras would know better

Sorry btw they can be kind of pricey, especially being 19. Usually they only give a small increase of results so idk if worth it. Iphone is still doable, just not as flexible. I would first see if any friends or family have one, cause you will probably only use it a few times unless you become a pro photographer or something.

I know you deleted, but I saw you were 6'2" with almost no full body pics. You are not using your height to your advantage, and girls don't really read bios when swiping. I would try to get a photo that makes you look tall. It's a bit harder to do on an iphone, but a DSLR camera has a bigger camera range (flip 90 degrees to extend either height or width) and zooming in does not make the photo blurry unlike on an iphone. Just need to find the right angles to do that. Preferably in an amazing scen…

Sorry to hear about that issue, but good you are recovering. No you are not screwed. 120 is really skinny, but 155 is fine at your height. Probably the bare minimum of fine before your weight starts hurting your appearance. You are taller than most guys already, that's a huge advantage.

Man there are way too many negative responses, you are good looking my dude. Keep up the workouts/bulk up and get nicer pictures, you have potential for sure

Sorry to hear that. It really is an eye opener of all these experiments, but remember what kind of dude in real life have perfect chiseled face, perfect body, and perfectly dressed. It's the top one percent for a reason. This guy is so rare that women don't even care if he's some kind of horrible criminal. Most of the "popular" dudes I knew back in High School and College didn't have chiseled faces or super buff bodies. Were they attractive? Sure. But they still encounter the same issues with le…

I actually found an Asian guy who did almost as close as a white model. It's funny, when I put up photos of him with a shirt his matches got cut in half on Tinder and dramatically dropped on Bumble. When he had his shirt off, all of a sudden he did so much better. White model got like 110 matches and this Asian model got 90 matches. Bumble it was like 180 for white guy and 150 for Asian guy. When the Asian guy had a shirt on, his matches dropped to like 45 matches on Tinder and 15 matches on Bum…

You cannot tell height until you meet in real life, so this will be impossible to prove unless we had a super good looking short guy willing to do the test.
