i live in a red state, red county, and red town, and this holds true from what i have seen and experienced. i am a progressive living here and you wouldn't believe how easy it would be to pull a woman away from the "alpha big truck guy." the influencers they look up to have done them zero favors in terms of finding a truly compatible romantic and loving companion.

im educated (grad degree), progressive, and in my 40's and find it kind of easy to date these days, and I am in a red state. in fact, i don't think dating has ever been this easy for me. im in a red state, red county, and red town and it makes me wonder if being progressive in this place is to my advantage... and just for more info: i am vegetarian, but also was trained on firearms at an early age and have my own, played football in college, and feed the bunnies, squirrels and birds in my backya…

It’s a fine line in staying try to who you are and what you think and feel, and “playing the game.” Sometimes, like when we’re talking about a book, I have a lot to say. And if she doesn’t like my long winded response, then so be it. We probably wouldn’t be a great match anyway.

I’ve been bordering on confessing just to get it off my mind. I think about her all the time. She’s become my muse for my creative side.
