Before you swipe right, know the new rule: Women aren't just Googling you anymore. Your ex is your new background check.Yeah pretty much | /r/Divorce_Men | 09/06/26 12:29 AM
Before you swipe right, know the new rule: Women aren't just Googling you anymore. Your ex is your new background check.Honestly man it’s nice but at the same time it’s tortuous. Like love each other but don’t want to be tougher 😂 | /r/Divorce_Men | 08/06/26 07:23 PM
Before you swipe right, know the new rule: Women aren't just Googling you anymore. Your ex is your new background check. My ex and I still actually care about each other and want the best for each other. She actually told the girl “I don’t think you are ready to be dating, if this phone call seemed normal” | /r/Divorce_Men | 08/06/26 07:19 PM
Before you swipe right, know the new rule: Women aren't just Googling you anymore. Your ex is your new background check.Could be but I experienced something extremely similar last November, so it does happen. | /r/Divorce_Men | 08/06/26 05:40 PM
Before you swipe right, know the new rule: Women aren't just Googling you anymore. Your ex is your new background check.Dude I had a girl prior to the second date do a full background check including court records. Got mad that my divorce wasn't finalized yet even though I had specifically told her my divorced wasn't finalized yet. Proceeded to reach out to my ex who actually told her all the good stuff about me, but still ghosted after I told her shes insane. | /r/Divorce_Men | 08/06/26 04:58 PM
Did anyone else completely lose themselves after divorce? That happier part is what I love the most, like I still will have moments of sadness but my life overall is much happier now | /r/Divorce_Men | 29/05/26 02:14 PM
Did anyone else completely lose themselves after divorce?Absolutely. Didn't eat for days at a time. Didn't sleep. Cried nonstop. Lost a ton of weight, which for me creates problems. But I remember the day where the biggest challenge was just taking a shower, I forced myself up and got in the damn shower. And every day after that I just forced myself to do normal things. It won't get better overnight, but it does get better slowly. I promise. | /r/Divorce_Men | 28/05/26 10:28 PM
Does one have to date ?nah man you don't have to. Personally I tried both 5 months after I left and 11 months after and it was brutal. Couldn't find any reason to plan a second one. Dabbled in some other areas for affection and that has honestly made being single easier and more pallatebable. Makes not dealing with your brain making you miss shit that you shouldn't miss much easier. But again thats my choice. | /r/Divorce_Men | 26/05/26 06:51 PM
Dealing with yearningValid question: I carry the photo because the pain of the past is what gets me up there. Like I know that sobriety has allowed me to accomplish things that I never dreamed of (Climbing Mount Shasta at the end of this summer in fact), but the pain I have really is what pushes me. | /r/Divorce_Men | 22/05/26 04:50 PM
Dealing with yearningoh my photos are still up actually, weirdly, maybe bizarrely? Idk man lol just a big emotional cluster | /r/Divorce_Men | 22/05/26 04:45 PM
