Confidence comes from doing the things that would require bravery to attempt them, but doing them without even needing bravery at all to do them.

Congratulations, instead of dating her and developing feelings for her only to later on find out she’s a horrible human being, you found out without having to do any of the work!

I’m almost 20 and a community college student. Nobody on my campus wants to socialize much less make relationships, like I can’t even just make friends. Right now I’m working a summer job and I’m using working 10-12 hours a day, 5 days a week and I never have off on weekends. In fact those days are my 12 hour days

This is pretty much it. My goal that is et for mysel every single day was not eating junk food and eating healthy and never eating more than I absolutely had to. Going to sleep proud of myself is a feeling I never thought in all my life I would ever feel, but now I do. I’ve lost 34 pounds in the last 3 months

I think the best thing you can do is think about why you gave her your number because she’ll be wondering your motivations. Tbh, asking out a waitress is a kind of shitty thing to do because most of the time they’re nice and smiling because they have to, and now that you’re at their place of work they’ll be uncomfortable there. But hey, you really took a huge risk and really lucked out. Think about what you’re gonna respond with when she’s asks why you asked her out. If you answer “I thought you…

Get him to sit down with you and have an adult conversation about what you both like and don’t like in sex, or if one of you or neither of you haven’t had sex yet, then talk to each other about what you want to try, what you don’t want to try. I’ve heard people say that can “kill the mood”, but what sexier than respectful maturity?

Honestly? These are the signs of someone who has been the victim of sexual assault. I would try to sit down and have a real, mature, open conversation with her and ask if anything happened. Maybe she found somebody else, that’s a possibility sure, but for not just sex but any physical contact to not be wanted from you tells me there’s more to it.

You regret the shots you don’t take. Just tell her you want to take her out on a date. She says no? Good, then you can move on to someone who will like you and want to go on a date with you instead of being stuck on this one person
/r/seduction12/06/22 09:17 PM

She has a boyfriend. Move on. If you try to break that up it shows you don’t respect her or her relationship. She mentioned to you that she had a boyfriend, take the hint. And ya know what? Maybe she is into you. Maybe she wants you. But do you really wanna be with somebody whose willing to cheat on someone else for you? If she’ll cheat WITH you, she’ll cheat ON you.

How does a grocery date work? I know it sounds like a stupid question, but how did it happen? Did he ask “Hey, wanna go get groceries with me as a date?”

The real question for me is did you do it sober or did you have a few drinks in you? Because I did the same exact thing one time and my friend told me to do it, and the only thing that gave me the courage to do it was the shot of Jack Daniels I took as I stood up from the table lmaooo

Nothing worth doing is easy. I was 270 pounds 2 months ago, now I’m 244 and still losing weight. I’m working on making myself more interesting to talk to. I’m focusing on learning new skills and taking care of my body. You have a condition that I do not have, and for that I’m sorry. However you could do what I used to do and sit inside and wallow in your own self pity, or you could do what I’m doing and work on making yourself as good as you can be. The advice for dating is not “be yourself”. Th…

I’m not saying she’a not a nice person or a good person in general, she probably is, at least that’s the vibe I get from her. However I bet that she turns that up to 11 at work and I’m just seeing that. And how much of a dick move would it be for me to ask her out, she says no, then I say “Well, even though there is somewhat of an awkward situation between us, I’m gonna keep coming here frequently and make you stress out and deal with me.”

I see your point. I think it all has to do with motivation. If you’re trying to use these pieces of advice to find women to date and build serious relationships with and treat them well and have that mutual bond, I think it’s perfectly ok. You have to make yourself attractive, otherwise why else would they want you? Relationships are a two way street. If you’re doing it to manipulate women into thinking that you want a relationship just so you can finally sleep with them and then immediately lea…

Don’t do it. Don’t hit on retail workers or food service workers or really anybody while their on the job. Their job is to be overtly nice to you, and I guarantee you’re not the first person to take that as flirting and you won’t be the last. I frequent a restaurant in my town and there’s a bartender there who I think is really attractive, and whenever she would hand me the bill, before I paid anything she would draw little hearts and thank yous all over it. My idiot brain thought she might be f…

I think personally it has to do with people not believing in themselves enough to improve themselves. A lot of people can’t see a light at the end of the tunnel. They genuinely don’t think that they can become more attractive and get what they want. I was one of these people and I’m working every day to improve myself.

Order women in that age group have far lower standards than women in our age range (I’m 19). They also are more inclined to be motherly and they’re telling you that you look nice in a way your mom might tell you that versus a woman who actually wants to be romantically or sexually involved with you would tell you that. Also most of the time they are just being nice. I don’t really pay any mind to it.

Now you may say “well other guys don’t have to try this hard and deal with all these problems, it’s not fair.” You’re 100% right, but this world is absolutely not a fair place. Some people are born with attractiveness and the confidence that stems from it and others have to work for it.

I know it works because it works for other people, I’m just not in a position for it to work for me. I’m still losing weight, I’m still in this environment where people don’t even want to socialize much less find a partner, I’m not desirable physically yet, and first impressions are everything. Life’s not fair, I got the short end of the stick, so I gotta compensate for it. That girl however, you need to build up your self confidence so that she doesn’t see that your desperate. Once you do that …

“Getting women” is still a clearly very important thing to you, I’m just trying to help you get to a place where it isn’t and you start gaining confidence in yourself. You need to approach relationships from a “wanting” standpoint instead of a “needing” standpoint, and it seems like you still feel the need for a woman in your life. Ask yourself “which head and I thinking with right now?” Deep down you’ll know the answer. Just take this time to improve yourself, gain skills and hobbies, start eat…

Nope. And I don’t exactly try to “get women”. I’m looking for the right person, not just trying to date or have sex with as many women as I can. I am a lot happier because of it. It’s hard to find and socialize with people irl for me right now, especially when I’m the guy who wants to meet people in person first. At almost 20 years old it’s really difficult because most women my age are either in relationships already or aren’t interested in one. That and you have to deal with the girls who lie …

See, there ya go. Women can also tell when your interested in having a girlfriend vs having THEM specifically. I get the hating your life bit. I’m 19 years old and a community college student. Nobody on my campus wants to talk at all, it’s this everlasting silence. My friends from high school have loved on to their own schools and do their own things now, and I just lost by best friend of 14 years because I realized he was using me and didn’t care to take interest in me at all, that I was just h…

You have to get yourself into a place mentally where you don’t want it that badly. You don’t want a girl more than anything in the world. You have to make this something that isn’t really important to you anymore. Ask yourself really hard questions like “Why do I feel like I NEED a girlfriend?” “Why am I trying so hard?” Then you gotta look introspectively and find those answers within. It’s incredibly difficult and won’t happen immediately. The question you should especially ask yourself when y…

Here’s a price of advice I learned that I think Dan help you. When you’re in these sort of situations, ask yourself “Which head am I thinking with right now?”, try to become as self aware as you can.

19M here. Im in the same boat as you. Never done any of that stuff before. I’ve dated but like back in high school freshman year for a couple months so it doesn’t really count lmao. I remember being in high school and now college and wondering “Why don’t girls like me? Why am I not getting a girlfriend?” It took a lot of introspection and trying to get my social anxiety out to the way to really examine my situation and realize that the problem was with me. I wasn’t desirable by those around me. …

Girls can tell when a guy is approaching them just for sex or a relationship, they’re not stupid. It’s a lot of pressure. Plus, you seem desperate. I’m 19, and in high school and my first year of college I felt the same way. I wanted a girlfriend more than anything. But then I realized how problematic such thinking was. Do some introspection. You really want a relationship, you want to meet girls, you want to find whatever tip or fix it will take to get a girl to be your girlfriend or sleep with…

+1 to everyone else saying that you shouldn’t hold sex on such a high pedestal. I’m 19, turning 20 in July, and I’m in the same boat as you. However, I’m not worried about it. I’ve been in a couple relationships (long distance), and they didn’t work out. There were a couple reasons as to why, but the main problem that I only realized a year or so ago was me. Are you desirable? Would YOU want to be with someone who doesn’t take care of themselves, who isn’t ambitious about their future, who isn’t…
