I recently watched The Red Pill. As a male who had an abusive girlfriend in college, this quote really struck a nerve.Yup. The Duluth model. Created by a Minessotan feminist, it's "based in feminist theory in that 'domestic violence is the result of patriarchal ideology in which men are encouraged and expected to control their partners.'" What a load of crock. Being an abusive asshole isn't limited to gender by any means. And this is adopted by most police precincts, I believe. | /r/MensRights | 10/04/17 02:45 PM
Retraction of the doxxing and firing.Yeah, you should post the modchat logs or something similar. You know how the internet is. Shit like this doesn't pass because you expect people to trust your word. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 07/02/17 06:24 PM
Wage GapI go to an expensive school too, and they're full of this patriarchy crap. Also psychology and the other soft sciences, they're full of it more than the rest (hard sciences just want to make stuff and study, some of the humanities just want to study art and literature and be left alone, goddamnit). There's your problem. | /r/MensRights | 12/12/16 05:42 PM
Wage GapIncidentally, what's her degree in? | /r/MensRights | 12/12/16 04:34 AM
One line is for women. Rr is for both men and womenHm, good point. Thanks for the tip, I didn't even think about that. | /r/MensRights | 27/11/16 05:55 AM
One line is for women. Rr is for both men and womenYeah, and at the end of the day that's all it would be. But folks aren't going to use a funnel to pee standing up, probably b/c it'd still be hard to aim. It'd have to be deformed a bit. | /r/MensRights | 27/11/16 05:53 AM
One line is for women. Rr is for both men and womenActually, yes. And I'm sure if I were asked to start paying for my material use, I'd be able to get a discount. | /r/MensRights | 27/11/16 05:08 AM
One line is for women. Rr is for both men and womenSee, that's the thing. All the manufacturing equipment at my uni is free for students to use. I'd literally be only paying in time invested. Could be handy if I want to make some cash for the next two years before I graduate. | /r/MensRights | 27/11/16 04:24 AM
One line is for women. Rr is for both men and womenI actually think I can make molds there too, actually. Hmmmmmm. | /r/MensRights | 27/11/16 02:27 AM
One line is for women. Rr is for both men and womenSorry you got downvoted, that's a good point. It'd depend on the material, but it very well might not be waterproof. Still, 3D printers are free to use at my college. I could make some cash... | /r/MensRights | 27/11/16 02:01 AM
Destroy your emails before students accused of rape can sue you, lawyers advise colleges - The College FixI wouldn't know, sorry. You'd have to ask /r/legaladvice and tell them which state you're in. | /r/MensRights | 17/08/16 05:57 PM
Destroy your emails before students accused of rape can sue you, lawyers advise colleges - The College FixDepends on the state's recording laws. Some states only require that /u/ailurus1 knows about it (single-person knowledge), others require consent from all recorded parties, and others just need all parties to be informed. I'm no lawyer, I just know it's single-person in my state. | /r/MensRights | 17/08/16 02:50 PM
The naked truth about "you must always listen and believe all the women who cry rape!"This is way more reasonable than either mindset in the image posted above. | /r/MensRights | 08/08/16 08:54 PM
Women cuts off husbands penis because he wants a divorce, apparently this is a laughing matter.I apologize. You can't be too careful in a discussion these days...everybody seems to have an objective. You make a good argument, and have an interesting opinion on persecution of sexual assault. It's food for thought. | /r/MensRights | 29/07/15 02:01 AM
Women cuts off husbands penis because he wants a divorce, apparently this is a laughing matter.I don't see how that's rape, either...unless I'm missing some details. To be frank, I think you're desperately trying to get me to admit that circumcision and rape are the same thing, which they aren't. And I won't, because they're not the same thing. I'm circumcised, and one of my best friends is a rape victim eight times over. Are we both disgusted and horrified by what happened to us? Of course. But I don't remember it. She does. She has nightmares all the time, asleep and awake, flashbacks, … | /r/MensRights | 29/07/15 01:28 AM
Women cuts off husbands penis because he wants a divorce, apparently this is a laughing matter.Fair enough. It is an American thing, and with the exception of one visit to Niagara falls, I've never been outside my own country. So all Christians I've encountered are American, and part of that culture. It is ridiculous, though. | /r/MensRights | 29/07/15 01:24 AM
Women cuts off husbands penis because he wants a divorce, apparently this is a laughing matter.Well...despite not being a rite (as in ceremony, not right as in something guranteed via law), there are still religious connotations and reasoning surrounding circumcision. I wouldn't call FGM rape either, since it's safe to assume the person doing the cutting doesn't derive pleasure (sexual or sadistic) from it, which rape would. Also, it's not actually a kind of intercourse. But yes, I think both are serious sexual assaults and should be illegal to perform on babies and children. | /r/MensRights | 28/07/15 06:41 PM
Women cuts off husbands penis because he wants a divorce, apparently this is a laughing matter.Well, dictionary definition for starters: Rape: Unlawful or non-consensual sexual intercourse. Circumcision: the act of removing the prepuce as a religious rite Circumcision doesn't involve sexual intercourse, so I wouldn't define it as rape. However, both could definitely considered a type of sexual assault, of which there are many. | /r/MensRights | 28/07/15 04:44 PM
Women cuts off husbands penis because he wants a divorce, apparently this is a laughing matter.I don't speak German...I should, but I don't. | /r/MensRights | 28/07/15 01:57 PM
Women cuts off husbands penis because he wants a divorce, apparently this is a laughing matter.Ugh. Figures. I love my parents, but I'm a little disgusted that they did that to me. I didn't know about the lack of theological justification for circumcision. And now I have an argument against "it's what we've always done" too. Thank you! | /r/MensRights | 28/07/15 01:28 PM
Women cuts off husbands penis because he wants a divorce, apparently this is a laughing matter.Sorry, I misused the term. My parents' church is pretty relaxed on a lot of traditions, but I'm pretty sure everybody there thinks young men should be circumcised. Most other Christians I've spoken to (In northern virginia, for the most part) agree when pressed. I hate it. It feels like a violation of my body without my consent (that makes it sound like rape, which it is not. I'm not comparing the two at all) or knowledge. Hell, I didn't even know what a foreskin was until my teens. I'm a very l… | /r/MensRights | 28/07/15 12:59 PM
Women cuts off husbands penis because he wants a divorce, apparently this is a laughing matter.Nope. Methodist. Just makes it worse, IMO. | /r/MensRights | 28/07/15 12:39 PM
Women cuts off husbands penis because he wants a divorce, apparently this is a laughing matter.I actually really hate it. I don't know what it'd be like to have a foreskin, but I sure wish my parents hadn't. We're not particularly orthodox and I'm not religious at all, and the probable desensitization bothers me. | /r/MensRights | 28/07/15 12:08 AM
