By trusting her and accepting that vulnerability. Intimacy is scary.

Part of intimacy is opening yourself up to the possibility that someone has the power to hurt you like that. I think Op and girl have moved a little quickly. But, I don't see too much difference between OP's attitude and say Manson's ideas on vulnerability in general.

I have nothing to say except I am right there with you. Thought I was cashing in. Never got further than cuddling. Realized I've been strung along. Thought I was in love, maybe I am. Anyways, check out How I Met Your Mother Season 5, Episode 16, "Hooked". I don't even really like that show and my brother made me watch this particular episode. It'll tear the bandaid off for you if you still think you might need a little push.

I would recommend seeing a counselor about this. Having seen my parents marriage dissolve, I can tell you it messed me up even though I didn't think it was affecting me at the time. You don't have to be crazy to go see a therapist. Sometimes it helps to have someone qualified listen to your problems.

I'm just going to say that I forgot what subreddit I was in and thought this was a legitimate thread about naming pets for at least a few minutes.

Now there are good ships and wood ships and the ships that sail the sea, but the best ships are friendships and may they always be.

Great video. Kind of painful to watch the guy fail with the group of girls. Makes me relive some of my poorer moments. Also disheartening to find out all this body language is half the time not intended to actually be flirtatious haha! But very informative nonetheless.

Listen pal, I know it's easy to see feminism as some evil movement, but you should really familiarize yourself with history and various forms of feminism before you make a statement like that. It's 2010 now, and in America, things have gotten a lot better for women. Not great, but a lot better. It's hard for people to remember a time when women weren't allowed to vote, barred from entering the workplace, barred from having reproductive choices and barred from even owning personal property. A ver…

Yeah feminism is about equality. Yes, there are some hardcore elements but it's amazing to me how that movement has been somehow redefined and demonized despite being responsible for very serious and important improvements in the quality of life of women worldwide. Let me repeat, if you support gender equality for women, you are a feminist. Read the fucking Feminine Mystique or something.

Sounds like he was sexually abused/molested as a kid as well. That can really mess up a young person's standards of what is acceptable and what isn't. Very sad. However, I'm a fan of the Cincinnati Bengals and we take criminals all the time! And we need depth at o-line badly. Also, one of our RBs is former misfit Bernard Scott who also went to Abilene Christian. This guy sounds like a beast and would be a good fit.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
